Here are some things that Wild World has but City Folk doesn't: If some villagers likes you enough sometimes they will give you their photo as a gift. Also they seem to get annoyed if you talk to them too much and sometimes they are kinda rude which is nice, everyone in City Folk is way too friendly, even the grumpy ones. You can also grab clothes and drag them outside the inventory to change its background just like in the GameCube games. I wish City Folk had these features too... Also! Thank goodness for Wiimmfi! People can play online just like back then!
I always heard City Folk was a poor port of Wild World, but then see when they're compared there are elements from the first game added to it that were removed in Wild World, meaning if it had been a port, why would it have content only seen in the original? I also heard it was a mesh of the first two (sounds more likely), but I also saw one person's analysis saying it was like 70% Wild World, 20% original, and 10% new content.
8:23 what about the original's content that was added back like the cliffs, real world holidays, fountain, and individual houses? They really did smash the first two together, take the best parts of each, and make that City Folk.
Am glad to see a review of both games this year, totally missed both of them at their reléase dates, managed to get both at the beginning of this year, by far Wild World is my favorite cause have the idea that this franchise was designed to be portable.

I just got this game Thursday from Amazon from the Goodwill store on there 20 bucks with shipping handling complete set I'm loving it my first animal crossing game was New leaf and I also have New horizon animal crossing
So I have NH and I love it. I really wanna play NL too but I realized it was only for 3DS and all I have is a 10 year old DS so all I can really do is chose between one of these games. I’m kinda nervous to buy though cuz I feel like I would feel weird playing something so dated. Any advice on which one I should get?
Between Wild World and City Folk? If so, I'd say City Folk feels less dated, since it mostly just expanded on what Wild World did. It also runs a lot better, since Wild World feels a bit laggy by today's standards.
6:09 Out of curiosity, how much higher are the debt payments? I want to introduce someone else to the series, but I don't really want to pay twice the rent if they don't end up enjoying it as much as I do...

I just started Wild World as my first Animal Crossing and searched for a review that wasn't 8 years old. The upload time on this one surprised me

The total debt cost in Wild World is around 3.5 million Bells, in comparison to around 1.5 million for City Folk and the original on the GameCube.
