I mean even if he had all abilities in the world. If I were in his position the thing I would want to do the most is to just punch him straight in the face, even though other stuff might be more effective
He's also using Thought Acceleration to make each punch feel like a much longer period of time Clayman is literally feeling like he has been punched for months straight with each punch
At this point in the story Rimuru is trying to keep as many of his skills secret as he can in case he has to fight another demon lord down the line. He realized that at least one of the other demon lords can see his soul well enough to guage that he has at least one ultimate skill, because that is something he is able to do at this point as well, so he chose to show off Beelzebub and conceal the other 3. As a kind of misdirect to how strong he actually is, and he chose Beelzebub because it is his hardest skill to hide while actively using.
People talking about how each punch felt like days for clayman because of thought acceleration but we can't forget that him being absorbed by belzebute probably felt like hell for days or weeks
Love how clean those punches looked. Each one, Rimiru's expression is almost bored. Like 'just another day at the office', no effort, doesn't even need to put his back into it. He could probably fire off a punch that'd rend Clayman from existence, but he pulls it down to a level that is just PAINFUL for Clayman, so he can hit him even more.
After he got bodied by Shion, how did he expect to go up against the demon lord that named her? He literally stood no chance once the banquet started lol
Clayman had the rather unfortunate duel character flaws of vastly overestimating his own abilities and intelligence while simultaneously underestimating his opponents abilities and intelligence. With that in mind, It’s no surprise that Clayman’s schemes ended up failing on pretty much every level possible. He was quite literally nothing more than a delusional clown with equally delusional ambitions.
He awakened as a demon lord between the two. Heck, even Frey pointed out that the idea of it sort of made her realize she was not ready for a seat at the table with the kids that could casually do and see that and be unphased by any of it. She even mentions that Awakened Clayman would have had her for breakfast.
Actually with her Cooking skill she just got before the Banquet it is nigh impossible to make something that tastes as good as her cooking (appearance not withstanding). Unless she wants to make a lethal dish, which with her skill would be extra lethal.
Even his ultimate skill realizes he's completely outclassed and is completely screwed. That look of surprise on its face as it realizes "oh shi-" before being eaten...
Entirely correct, Guy can tell which ultimate skills are being used if he sees them. Having more than one is not normal, having 4 means Rimuru can surpass Guy down the road. Guy doesn't trust Rimuru, if he knew about the 4 ults, he would execute Rimuru on the spot.
If you read the books Clayman's death is actually sad and touching. The memory of his past and it puts an emphasis on the mask he clutches as he does, especially later when you find out why somebody called the Marionette Master behaved like such an idiot at the end and that it wasn't all his fault
I like that everyone in the room isn't even phased by Clayman "transforming" and going crazy with "power" in the middle of the room. Like they could all tank that blast and come out unphased (aside from like two or three of them, and some of the retainers) - they're just that much stronger than him and they know it.
The thought accelartion on Clayman is such a savage move. Clayman experienced the slaughtering million times slower than normal, so in Clayman's experience he was suffering for days. That is some real high level torture by someone that says: "I'm a good slime".
I'll give it to Clayman, even after thought acceleration was used to make him feel like he was being punched for weeks on end, he had a will strong enough to tell Rimuru to suck it, he wasn't going to snitch.
There’s something viscerally satisfying about seeing Rimuru, an MC who tends to fight at more of a distance utilizing spells and skills, just going right in and giving Clayman a good old fashioned slug to the face
I like how Clayman is literally like "taste my ultimate technique" And Rimuru is like"Belzebub" everytime Dude he's not even serious with him he's so strong 💪
My favorite detail of this animation is in Clayman's ultimate technique. That energy dragon actually looks a bit terrified right before it is swallowed up.
He used thought acceleration so that claiman would experience probably several months or even several years of other agony. It's similar to how flash time works. Basically his thoughts are being sped up. It changes his relative perception of time
For those who only watched the anime. Rimuru using thought acceleration on Clayman means that when he punches Clayman, Clayman feels it for what feels like days. They don’t elaborate in the anime but it’s a pretty significant detail.
I love how the Va for Rimuru made sure to add a lil hmmph to those 3 punches before obliterating clayman you can just feel how long Rimuru waited for that moment and how satisfying those punches must’ve felt for him
For those of you who don't understand why Guy Crimson said "He used Thought Acceleration on Clayman, eh?" it's because he used Thought Acceleration on Clayman. The REASON he did that though is because Thought Acceleration makes your thought processes way faster, extending your perception of time. So what should have been half a second is extended out over several hours, meaning that while Rimuru was punching him for those roughly 30 seconds, Clayman experienced months and months of constant pain.
It is so satisfying watching Clayman getting effortlessly beat down by Rimuru, the slime Clayman looked down on, and watching Clayman realize that he is hopelessly outmatched
To me, it looked more like he made a *note* of it. kind of like "he stole that, wonder what *else* he can steal" I think Guy will pay close attention to what skills he lets Rimuru see.

In one hand, I’m absolutely elated CLAYMAN got everything he perfectly deserves for all he’s done.
In another, I was actually a little sad that in the end, he defended his only friends, even to the point of never ratting them out to Rimuru. Despite how despicable he was, I have to give him props for that……
I felt more bad for the clown.. his laughing at the end made me a bit teary eyed becausd you can hear the crying in his laughter, whoever does that clown's VA... Props for the insane laugh/crying..
@@Zolrain Kazuya Nakai. I haven't watched a lot of the shows he was in, but they include Roronoa Zoro (One Piece) [whoever that may be]), Gaomon (Digimon), and Flect Turn (My Hero Academia).
Well spoilers under
He was being controlled by a member of the empire
@@Vernas_R @Zolrain he’s also Dio’s VA from jojo
Out of all of his skills and abilities, Rimuru’s first and only choice was to just deck him across the face a few dozen times.
Rimuru has a habit of just straight up punching people who have wronged him and his family
I mean even if he had all abilities in the world. If I were in his position the thing I would want to do the most is to just punch him straight in the face, even though other stuff might be more effective
He's also using Thought Acceleration to make each punch feel like a much longer period of time
Clayman is literally feeling like he has been punched for months straight with each punch
@@bman21000 that makes sense
Though I'm sure a few of them probably could tell he had other tricks up his sleeve
People talking about how each punch felt like days for clayman because of thought acceleration but we can't forget that him being absorbed by belzebute probably felt like hell for days or weeks
Rimuru pulling a Golden Experience on Clayman just for him to suffer more... Brutal
And then bro hit him with the golden experience requiem (but mercifully)
Even the spell itself looks surprised as Rimuru literally eats it.
“Wait WAT
This is not what’s supposed to-“
XD
Rimuru’s strength probably barely changed after eating clayman’s magiculez lol
Si pero tenía la fuerza de un majin por lo cual no fue mucho
Lol disrespect 😂
True but the souls clayman consumed are his I think
Hey at least he had some neat skills. I'm sure some of em may come useful.
Drop in the ocean, friends, but a drop more in the ocean.
@PrinceMichael18 Those are things the anime has already made us aware of, outside of that last unasked for spoiler. So thanks......
@PrinceMichael18 please put in spoiler
@@LupineShadowOmega both frey and carrion both admit that they probably wouldn't have been able to beat an awakened clayman.
I like how Clayman is having the time of his life with his power up moment and no one in the room takes it seriously.
That should tell you the power of the remaining Demon Lords.
Except for Karion and Frey, The other demon lords would have no problems smacking down this awakened Clayman.
This fight was so satisfying after all he done to them can’t wait for the movie
Kinda short but a satisfying finale
@@frederickgrandison3609 this is the final episode?
@@kaiju8282 of this season, not the series finale
The next season is in 2 yrs cause every slime season takes 2 years and there’ll be a movie soo hyped
Wait is there a news article for the movie, damn im hella hyped.
1:27 You think he'd admit defeat after seeing his own magic get scared of Rimuru
When the opening plays last ep you know the antagonist getting the smack down.
Is this the last episode of season 2....i want to start watching it

"Taste my ultimate attack"
Not bad, better than shions cooking.
Actually with her Cooking skill she just got before the Banquet it is nigh impossible to make something that tastes as good as her cooking (appearance not withstanding). Unless she wants to make a lethal dish, which with her skill would be extra lethal.
@@thomasallen9974 not to mention with that same skill there isn't anything she can't cut
Clayman: laughing
Everyone else: look at this joker
Even his ultimate skill realizes he's completely outclassed and is completely screwed. That look of surprise on its face as it realizes "oh shi-" before being eaten...
Rimaru is the kind of guy to see a magic move and ask is anyone gonna eat that and not wait for an answer
Rimuru was still holding back too, he has other Ultimate skills. I guess he wants the other demon lords to underestimate him as long as possible.
He wants to hide his abilities from some of them which he don't know if they will be his enemies in the future
The fact that everyone was calm and smiling when Clayman was laughing makes him even more putiful.
If you read the books Clayman's death is actually sad and touching. The memory of his past and it puts an emphasis on the mask he clutches as he does, especially later when you find out why somebody called the Marionette Master behaved like such an idiot at the end and that it wasn't all his fault
He was manipulated by the guy called Kondo Tatsuya
This was more like an execution than an actual fight
In the end it literally was
That kick in of the opening soundtrack right with barrier is god tier. As many have said before, the sound team on this anime are just the best.
I like that everyone in the room isn't even phased by Clayman "transforming" and going crazy with "power" in the middle of the room. Like they could all tank that blast and come out unphased (aside from like two or three of them, and some of the retainers) - they're just that much stronger than him and they know it.
The sound effects, sound quality, sound directing, everything that goes into my ears is just so lovely I want to cry sometimes.
The thought accelartion on Clayman is such a savage move. Clayman experienced the slaughtering million times slower than normal, so in Clayman's experience he was suffering for days. That is some real high level torture by someone that says: "I'm a good slime".
I can't stop imagining the clayman saying za warudo
I'll give it to Clayman, even after thought acceleration was used to make him feel like he was being punched for weeks on end, he had a will strong enough to tell Rimuru to suck it, he wasn't going to snitch.
Rimuru's RED eyes, as he deliveres punishment are just the best!
it shows the anger he has stored up, but usually doesn't show.
There’s something viscerally satisfying about seeing Rimuru, an MC who tends to fight at more of a distance utilizing spells and skills, just going right in and giving Clayman a good old fashioned slug to the face
2:20 if you pause the clip at just the right moment, you can clearly see Rimuru's eyes glowing red.
I like how Clayman is literally like "taste my ultimate technique"
And Rimuru is like"Belzebub" everytime
Dude he's not even serious with him he's so strong 💪
The song at 0:45 has no business going this hard in the battle
My favorite detail of this animation is in Clayman's ultimate technique. That energy dragon actually looks a bit terrified right before it is swallowed up.
I love how rimuru scares the ultimate attack clayman has as he absorbs it
Really satisfying fight, and were getting a movie which is pretty nice.
That time I got reincarnated as a slime is getting a movie?!???
@@hellohaveaniceday2372 YES
Aye when was this comfirmed?
I do have to say claymans VA was OUTSTANDING he would be a perfect joker with that laughter
This wasn’t a fight, It was an execution.
"DAUBNEY!"
I keep rewatching this scene, it’s so perfect. From the background music to the “fight”
2:17 Just love Rimuru's red eye. It just adds to how badass he can be.
He used thought acceleration so that claiman would experience probably several months or even several years of other agony. It's similar to how flash time works. Basically his thoughts are being sped up. It changes his relative perception of time
Clayman: “Take thatç my ultimate move! Demon Strike!”
Rimuru: “Yeah, no, Hinata’s Disintigration had more of a punch...”
"taste my ultimate technique"
-Bad choice of words
That's what you get for not using your ultimate move; ZA WARUDO
Bro broke the rule of “ if they transform your doomed “
For those who only watched the anime.
Rimuru using thought acceleration on Clayman means that when he punches Clayman, Clayman feels it for what feels like days.
They don’t elaborate in the anime but it’s a pretty significant detail.
For those who didn't watch the anime... 2:11 LITERALLY.
I love how the Va for Rimuru made sure to add a lil hmmph to those 3 punches before obliterating clayman you can just feel how long Rimuru waited for that moment and how satisfying those punches must’ve felt for him
Clayman: “taste my ultimate attack!”
Joker: “very poor choice of words”
I love Veldora just leaning on Daggrul's shoulder like "sup, wanna fight again like old times?"
I swear everyone in slime has a great laugh😂 can’t wait for the movie and then season 3🤧
Clayman: TASTE MY ULTIMATE ATTACK
Rimuru: *bet*
For those of you who don't understand why Guy Crimson said "He used Thought Acceleration on Clayman, eh?" it's because he used Thought Acceleration on Clayman.
The REASON he did that though is because Thought Acceleration makes your thought processes way faster, extending your perception of time. So what should have been half a second is extended out over several hours, meaning that while Rimuru was punching him for those roughly 30 seconds, Clayman experienced months and months of constant pain.
Every second for rimuru at this current state is 277.7 hours roughly.
*Rimuru during Claymans power up* : I think I should be hearing boss music right now
*Opening starts to play* : Much better
*OP starts playing*
Clayman: "Why do I hear boss music!?"
Clayman: "I have become a true demon lord!"
Rimuru: "Good, that means you're finally worth thrashing"
0:40
Fear of God kicked in the moment he heard the Anime OP
He was Scared into Delusion after that
Beelzebub always gives me goosebumps. The ability to mercilessly swallow anything up is just so chilling.
It is so satisfying watching Clayman getting effortlessly beat down by Rimuru, the slime Clayman looked down on, and watching Clayman realize that he is hopelessly outmatched
I love how Guy isn’t even interested or whatever in that Rimuru easily replicated his barrier he just kinda accepts it
To me, it looked more like he made a *note* of it. kind of like "he stole that, wonder what *else* he can steal"
I think Guy will pay close attention to what skills he lets Rimuru see.
Rimuru is so strong that snapping is fingers makes the opening play whenever he wants to massacre some dude up 👌👌
There are 3 demon lords stronger than rimuru right now
@@אליאורלוי-ח2צ give Him some Time haha
Clayman should’ve known how absolutely screwed he was when everyone there was calm and even laughing and smiling while he was cackling.
0:16 NANI?!
"Hey, if you're gonna take this seriously, start now." What a badass way to start a final dissection.
This show has good animation and satisfying sound effects, worth the watching in my opinion :)
I love how he snaps his fingers and the music plays on cue
When he tells you to taste it, but you end up just eating the whole damn thing anyways
Clayman:👁👄👁
They couldn’t have picked a better voice actor for clayman. Magnificent
Claymen thought he could use the Joestar secret technique, it’s a shame he’s in the wrong anime…
