Black Sabbath Headless Cross is absolutely amazing. The title track is among my favorite Black Sabbath songs. That SODOM is a holy of all unholy grails. So awesome you got this. What a gem.
I have to check out the album after Headless Cross with the same vocalist, if it is anything like this I'll probably love it. I was not going to let that Sodom escape me a second time, haha.
Cheers Aaron 🤘. Not many people talk about Vandenberg, good to hear the Dutch stuff is liked in the US too, haha. Didn't know Headless Cross got a reissue, it really needed one.
Definitely a great start! That Sodom album is already one of the highlights of this year, haha. I just can't stop listening to that Sabbath album. Cheers Marty 🤘
Fantastic finds there Thomas. Headless cross is one of my all time favourites. Easily one of Sabbath's best albums. Nice you finally found that Sodom. I wonder if the other guy is now regretting not picking it up. Enjoy spinning 🤘
Headless Cross is non stop on the turntable right now, haha. Quicklt becoming a favorite of mine too! Definitely gonna check out the other stuff with Tony Martin as well. Cheers man 🤘
Your logo fade in and then silent salute made me laugh more than it should have. In the Sign of Evil at a charity shop, what a damn score. Mine is the OG Metal Blade from the same year, but the story of how you got yours is extra special.
Hahaha, how is that intro even slightly comedic. Next time I'll try to be even less funny then I already wasn't. I think that even if you worked at a place like a charity shop, it would still be a once in a lifetime find. Perhaps, within a year or twenty, when all the old metalheads begin to fall down like dominoes, shops like that will overflow with old records thrown away by their grand kids who have the attention span of a potatoe thanks to social media. Perhaps then, then you'll see another Sodom record at the charity shop.
@@mercyfulmetal7324 it's your lack of trying to be comedic that makes it so hilarious! Nothing beats a straight face comedian lol. The best score I found in a charity shop was a Kiss and Twisted Sister record, both which went straight to mum lol. I have found good CDs though!
god dam that's a great find. Love that Tony Martin Sabbath era, got one of his but they don't appear often. Believe those albums are being reissued this year with a remaster.
Yeah, I heard there is coming a box set of the full Martin era, that would be crazy! If its all as good as Headless Cross I might even pick it up. We'll see!
Hallo, groeten uit Duitsland. Net geabonneerd, leuke clips!
Thanks for commenting! My German is not good enough to directly respond, haha. English will work too! Never been to Venlo, but if I ever do I will definitely visit that store! Every now and then I visit Germany myself, I live not too far away from the border. Just yesterday I visited Bocholt, which has a very good record store too! Appreciate it and I hope to see you back on more videos!
Ah man, that's amazing you found the Sodom record! Happy days. Took a long time for me to click with Headless Cross but another brilliant find for you Thomas. Nice one mate!
To me its the other way around, the Ozzy stuff still hasn't clicked for me, haha. Love Tony Martin's voice. I remember you showed that Sodom album yourself in a video a while ago, but now I don't have to be jealous anymore, lol. Cheers man 🤘

@@mercyfulmetal7324 Ah cheers man! I can tell you we didn't pick the same album! I went for something more 2000's 😁 Haha, well that might be a great video for you to do! 😀🤘
Congrats on your grail finds🤘I listened to The Headless Cross a lot when it first came out as my best friend at the time had a copy. I need to pick up a copy on cd again for my collection. Killer finding the Sodom OG. Glad you ended up with it and it has some cool history. My copy I found last year has a small warp but plays ok, I paid $50 for it😝
I knew you had a copy of that Sodom album! You got it for a killer price man, luckily it plays with the warp. Headless Cross is already a favorite, can't stop listening. Cheers Brendan 🤘
Hi Thomas!!! you really are one lucky ....... vinyl collector. Those grails in one update, you don't see that very often. Sabbath with Tony Martin is really good, underrated and expensive too..... had no idea why that Sodom Ep is also so pricey, your copy looks great. Cheers and happy spinnings
The Sodom album has been reissued, but the originals are quite something. I'll definitelt be checking out more stuff with Tony Martin on vocals man, love it. Cheers Cristian, hope you're well 🤘
‘Headless Cross’ was actually the first ‘Sabbath’ album I owned too & is a big favourite of mine! Ozzy era ‘Sabbath’ is still shit hot tho imo Thomas! Hope to see you in Josh's next live stream Thomas as it's all about your favourite vocalist 😆. It pains me a bit when charity shops sell expensive stuff for next to nothing as most of it gets picked up by resellers and my mates a reseller! Amazing finds mate and it's good to know your local record guy looks after you! 🍻🤘🏻
Yeah, I might skip the stream, haha. It pains me a lot to when I'm not the person who finds stuff like that! Great video Thomas! Always cool to hear about grail pickups and the story of that Sodom album is unreal. Not as unreal as the fact you don't like Sabbath, though! 😜 Congratulations on 2 great finds! Cheers! 🤘
The story behind some albums are very cool, I like to hear stories like that as well. Especially from back in the day. I need to give the early Sabbath stuff with Ozzy some time, maybe it will click one day. Appreciate it man 🤘
