    Poor lad. When it rains it pours. I find if you remove yourself from it & just have a think about how you are going to approach it all first. One step at a time to get yourself back on track. Think about what you have achieved so far which is massive.
    That engine problem might not be as big as you think. worse case scenario it would need a new head. But if it were me I'd rebuild it anyway whilst you have the chance. I just wish I lived nearer, I'd be able to give you a hand. Then maybe get around to finishing mine off. 😅

      Cheers Tony. I'm going back today. My mate Kev is needing his workshop back through the winter. I was only meant to be in it a few weeks 🤣 so the push is on. I wanted it watertight and running first. It has to be the oil cooler I changed because it's worse than before I touched it 🤣

      The oil in the header tank will just be the oil cooler, they fail a lot. I think they're only £30 on ebay

      Thanks Micky. I've recently replaced the oil cooler. This was the first time the vans started since fitting it. Clearly I've done something wrong lol. Gonna strip it down again tomorrow.

    your not the only one going through this chap. I've spent the last few months welding cutting welding in the rain. Stupid t4 step and runner not being available in RHD. As for the engine as you said its probs the oil cooler. You can get some flush solutions to run through the engine once the problem is fixed. We used DAZ detergent once on a 12ltr truck engine but the water pump failed a few months down the road so probs don't do that.

      Hi mate. Thanks for the subscription 👍. My solution to the sliding door track is just to shut the bloody door and forget about it for now haha. DAZ! That's crazy!

    Hi mate, did ya ever run into problems with fuel pressure and if so how did ya fix it, cheers

    • @neil...
      @neil...  Рік тому +1

      Hi Johnny, I only went on 3 trips before parking the van up nearly 3 years ago! Fuel pressure wasn't an issue for me then.
      Hopefully someone that knows more about it answers your question in the comments 👍

      @@neil... keep up the good work on the t4. I've learned so much watching your videos and got some welding to do on mine next year. Your videos have given me the courage to try and do it myself. Nothing to loose if I mess up I can always take it to a professional but there simple patches so should be fine. Keep up the good work

      Hopefully easy cheap fix mate, I changed mine after you sent me the video from your mate, and the replacement rubber o-ring didn't fix my leak and had to get an identical one which worked,
      Hope you get it sorted mate 👍

      @@garylatto4191 I didn't go back today. Thought fk it and had the day off lol. I'm hoping I've just no tightened it up enough. If I've to strip it I'll change the o ring. And maybe see if I can bed it in with some kinda sealant.
