Hows the van coming along neil? Aint seen any videos lately so hopefully your just cracking on with it and aint had time to upload any new progress videos. The inner part of the chassis that holds the top of the damper has broke on my t4 and are wondering if cutting through the floor in the back is the best way to get in to weld it? 🤔

Hiya David, tbh I've not even looked at the van in a very long time. Theres been a lot going on my end 🤯. I am planning on giving myself a kick shortly and get back at it.. I've been putting bits in my ebay basket so its summin haha. I've not been completely idle, I've been building a workshop in my back garden to give me somewhere to work and make vids.. if its the bit I'm thinking about in your van then aye, probably getting in through the floor would be easiest.. sm I correct in saying you're in Scotland? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Have you any regrets treating the rust rather than cutting it out? Example, are rust treated areas showing any signs of rust? Cheers bud.

I've used Bilt Hamber rust treatment because it got good reviews on a forum I use. Thank buddy...yeah you defo get better at editing i could kinda tell this was your first video 😊 But thanks again for all the videos im sure I will be watching a few more times once I get some more panels ordered 😅 Also bought a finger sander the other day to help the progress. Mine was fiberglassed over rust holes you can imagine inner sill/inner arch also the front main support for the crash bar mehhhhh Once done its going to be a solid van tho eh "he says with only limited welding experience lol"

A finger sander is a must! Cut the widest belts down using snips, far more economical.. Central panels were the closest to factory fit i found..I believe they are a tad cheaper via phone instead of ebay..
