@@CHopeBerlin No he wasn't in the episode that showed Paige's wedding. His 3rd and final episode was the 7th episode of season 8 (a whole 8 or so episodes before Paige's wedding) in the "The Lost Picture Show"
Charmed remains one of my favorite series. One thing I’ve criticized is the lack of follow-up on Paige & Sams storyline. Despite their shared experiences, Sam vanished without explanation, even during pivotal moments like Paige’s wedding or when the Charme done fake their death. It’s unfair and frustrating that he wasn’t integrated into her live properly, especially considering his significant role in Paige’s adoption. Why bring him back if he won’t be part of her life?
I was hoping for the scene in where Sam heals himself, by forgiving himself, before healing Paige. When we see him again, he has becoming deadbeat dad, by not showing up around. Retrospect, off screen he should’ve like showed up for every Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year’s, Easter, and Paige’s birthday after this.
I always felt sorry for Paige’s character, while she got two awesome parents they died while she was a teen, she never got to meet her birth mother or birth grandmother while they were alive only met their ghost which as to be weird and never got to meet prue at al not even the ghost version only got to see her the few times she got sent back in time and had to hide so she wouldn’t be seen
Given their relationship in the "The Lost Picture Show" during season 8, I wouldn't say Paige and Sam reconciled in this episode which takes place during season 5.
If we ever get to see the sisters on screen again I really hope we get to see Paige and Sam start to bond as father and daughter. I want to see Paige's twin girls and her son getting to know their grandfather...
@@GamingxKnight Rose, Holly and Shannen all said at a recent comic-con that if there was a great script and a network willing they'd be willing to. We could possibly get Prue, Piper and Paige.
Now i know why charmed was my favourite show, it helped me with my dad being most of my child hood away. I couldnt understand but now i do. Also the show taught me, things arent as simple as they seems and respecting each other finding out whats behind all reasoning is a key for being a decent person.
@@BlackGirlMarvel Paige was left at a local church shortly after her birth, by her bio parents, subsequently adopted by her parents. She met her maternal half-sisters, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell, in 2001 after the death of her eldest half-sister Prue Halliwell.
Charmed really let us down with this relationship, it could have been explored more than it was. He loved their mother and stayed at the place she died waiting for the girls to return, then died to protect Prue and went to the afterlife with Patty. There is no way he wouldn’t have been in Paige’s life after finding and reconnecting with her in this episode. Viktor was around a few times and shown to be in their lives even if we didn’t always see it, Sam should have been too.
Its because piper was part of the "charmed ones" I think it made her baby with leo extra special where as Paige was technically just a regular baby with special abilities
I loved charmed but when they wanted to do c a crossover with supernatural - I laughed. Charmed has way too many loopholes. Even here - They bring the father and daughter back and he doesnt even come to her wedding Where supernatural - family is everything
What on Earth are you talking about. What ''crossover'' with supernatural? Family is also everything on Charmed but more in terms of sisterhood and than their children. Absent and/or dead parents were in the fabric of the show since the very beginning. Not returning Sam was a big mistake, true. Still, I don't think you know what ''loophole'' actually meant. I think you meant plotholes.... Which again, this wasn't one, this was an abandoned storyline.
Ticked me off Sam only showed up only in 3 episodes the entire show. He was too busy wallowing to be of any use to anybody. Victor made more of a habit showing up especially for his grandsons. Patty really had a thing for deadbeats.
That was the writers for you. Instead of building off the end of his second appearance in season 5 they did an about flip and had animosity between them.
The let’s-make-the-father-a-coward-jack-ass-who-leaves-behind-his-family-trope in tv shows lame. Way over used as well. Fresh prince, according to Jim, Charmed, Buffy to name just a few.
I wouldn’t say he was portrayed as a bad man. I would say he was a guilty man. He just didn’t get the warm response Patty received due to his character.
It’s night and day the reaction between their father and mother are different. They both committed the same action. They both deserved the same consequence and reactions.
In some ways Paige is lucky in that she got two sets of parents. One she got to patch things up with, the other she got to reconcile with
too bad we nerver saw him again, not even in her wedding.
We did see him in an episode of season 8.
Omg yes the Wedding! Ur so right! I didn't even noticed.

Budget. It all comes down to budget. Smh

I always thought Paige and Sam looked alike. I know they aren’t related in real life but I think they do
no I think Prue & Paige look like Patty & Piper & Phoebe look like Victor

We won't. McGown and Milano basically hate each other and McGowan said she often hated working on the show because of Milano.

Sam was gorgeous 😍😍
He has some of the bluest eyes Ive ever seen---next to Paul Walker & maybe a couple others! 😇

they can make pheobe n cole together. and end of their conflict between good n evil
Emotional episode Rose is great actress.Paige had problems with dad as Prue with her death. But why she never called Sam dad?
She did in season 8
One thing I don't understand that they predicted Pipers baby... But they didn't know about Paige...? Or did I just miss an episode or two...?

Well you can’t have a female empowered show without making the male part the pathetic jerk while making the female the girl boss.
Victor wasnt a deadbeat. Grams actively kept him from the girls.
Paige can’t accept Sam as her father because he is not there for her
