REO Brothers
And, he's using an Epiphone that retails for around $400. No vintage $40k "special" guitar, just something that is hanging on the wall in every Guitar Center in the world. Hell, he even has a mismatched Taylor strap that probably came with is acoustic for free! lol Let this be a realization to all you would be musicians: The name on the headstock means NOTHING. How much you dedicate yourself to your craft means EVERYTHING.
Okay, seriously, are they conjuring the original artists' souls on every cover?? How can they sound like Dire Straits, The Beatles, Bee Gees, America, etc? I found these guys by accident, and I am so happy I did. You all are just phenomenal!
Who loves reo brothers 👍
top congratulations
oh, man!!!!! Im realize that is Mark's voice!
What makes RJ so talented? Imagine knowing how to play flawless rhythm and lead on over a hundred songs, playing keyboards while switching to guitar on his lap and singing. Plus he manages to duplicate guitar passages on one Gibson SG. Incredible!
Now this is talent ..... and just plain ridiculous, If you love real music .... you love the REO Brothers
Best ever cover
I come from the hometown of Dire Straits guys. They would be proud.
Who skipped to the end to see if he nailed the last solo? :) AND HE DID!
Great job boys! In 1977 I was driving taxi late at night leaving the airport in Winnipeg, Manitoba when this song came on the radio. I was so blown away I actually pulled over to the side of the road halfway through the song - I had never heard anything like it - and as we know now - neither had the rest of the world.
I am impressed with the vocalist in how he seems to match Mark’s energy with the smooth almost bluesy delivery without sounding forced or overly dramatic. I have tried to listen to many covers of this song and rarely made it past the 15 second mark. I loved the vocals and band was spot on. I enjoyed listening to the entire song, very refreshing.
This dude even sounds like Mark Knofler
Best cover of the original version of this song. Great performance.
I have been listening to this song for 30 years. This is the best cover I have heard. Well done. And can we just give a round of applause for the drummer please.
you will not find any group who replayed Sultan of Swing as good as this...
Singing and sounding like dire straits is damn hard but singing and playing the lead guitar is just legendary!
X My name is Anderson Eduardo, I'm Brazilian and a big fan of Dire Straits, and now a big fan of you, I'm so impressed, BRAVO, BRAVÍSSIMO, you did one of the best covers in the world, congratulations
This is not just a cover. it’s sounds like TRIBUTE! 🔥😮💨🤘
