"This is the last time I'll give points for the gorgeous animation, I swear." Proceeds to give a thousand more points for amazing animation (deservedly so).
The line "The next words that spilled from my lips that came from so deep within my gut that it nearly made all the things I have ever said feel like a lie. I will kill you" sent more chills down my spine than any other media. I was still having FMA Nina flashbacks when Junpei died and then that line... phew
You also forgot to mention how whenever you meet a new character they get added to the opening. The ONE and only outlier is Junpei, so the ENTIRE show they are alluding to Junpei being in the school as he's seen in the uniform. I found out that it's most likely his ideal world at the end of that op as it goes back to him staring into the distance. It's what he wishes would've happened. With it zooming into not only Itadori but also Junpei alludes to Junpei being his Gwen Stacy so to speak. That's his moment of not being able to save someone, not being strong enough as so far he was able to save everyone from death until now. The entire op though and how it ends showing him by himself and nodding off might be alluding to him ending up alone. We forget they do mean to kill him after he eats all 20 fingers and to save all those ppl he might have to give up on his perfect world that's been shown throughout the op and force himself to distance himself from everyone, at least until it's safe enough for him to come back.
Another point I feel wasn’t reflected as much in the Junpei bait and switch was the fact that Junpei was in the opening since the very beginning, even before the other characters that got added throughout, signifying to viewers of Junpei’s potential importance to the show. Still so sad what happened.

These videos are a great way for me to catch up without leaving myself no reason to watch for myself. I dropped the series at the end of 3 because I knew that I could not stand being cliffhung at the end of its first season. Basically like Black Clover I am waiting for episode 50 then I will marathon it to catch up. With all these twists and good characters I can't help it; the show is to good for me to suffer between season waits early in the story.
so surprised you didn't include that moment around 13:00 when itadori punches the wrong part of the wall. there is so many funny moments in these first few episodes, but that one was always just such a genuine, funny thing for them to do to break through the tension. man, i just love this show so much.

Also HOW DID YOU NOT WIN THE SHOWING OF THE DOMAIN EXPANTIONS. Like it’s such a unique part of the power system
Did you like skip that part of the video? I mentioned how it changed the world to look like Silent Hill and how that could then be used to great effect later on because the anime itself takes part in a normal human world and thus the changes could be interesting. Later I gave a Win for how good the effects looked when the Volcano guy used his AND for how it changes not only the environment but also the state of the battle since it gives perks to the user. What more did you want me to say at this point lol?
@@az639 Dunno why you'd think that, they specifically mentioned, "domain expantions" and then followed it up with, "Like it’s such a unique part of the power system". Definitely doesn't sound like they're asking about 1 persons ability, but instead the whole system.
One thing I really like about this anime is that, not only is the MCs OP powerup state his own character, he's literally the main villain of the series. I know that superpowered evil sides have been done before, but having it literally be the the big bad is a very fresh idea! I'm honestly really looking forward to what they do with this as the series goes on!

"I have no clue if the whole anime is going to have this high level quality animation..." yes. Yes. And even more yes. It just gets better and better. Its so beautiful i could cry
What I love the most in this anime is how the characters react with traumatic events ,like when itadori grandpa died, he doesn’t breakdown and scream but mostly calm, which I see is very realistic
I love how the salaryman explains what "zangetsu" was saying to ichigo in bleach, that the techniqe becomes much more powerful when the opponent knows it's name and the way it works. :p

Anyone else simp for Sukuna? No? Just me?...ok then...
Eh, I’d probably let him end the world. And I’m not even gay-he’s just that epic.
Sukuna is a jerk! But I love him as a villain.
it hurt seeing you have to skip over such much more amazing stuff in this anime but still a great vid as always
Omg you should totally do a "everything great about violet evergarden" 💃It's such a great series and it not that long✨

@@AnimeWins thats a cool perk to give to those who support the channel!
@@charcoal2577 yea. sadly i really can't support even if i wanted to, but honestly would love to see him react to violet evergarden.
@@adir6094 not allowed to work even though I can.. Definitely gonna support tho when I can work.
@@dallydakopkapt.1604 shit fam, how old are you? are you like a legal adult?
I love the Todou Divergent fist on the opening and then Mai's CSGO reload just after it lmfao
Junpei my baby nooo **uncontrollable sobbing** 😭
26:00 ish, we Don't Talk about how the Lad actually got raided for his cockiness?
Like "we fight and If I win, then I will set the..." *Loses his head in process, bc sukuna is just that much stronger*
When I first watched JJK I thought Megumi was going to be my favourite character. I truly believed this after finishing episode one and then Gojo comes in and is like: “ha lol no I am the coolest dude in this anime.” He is still my favourite character and I’m in the school vs school arc
i have about 300+ anime under my belt and i can say with confidence if they keep up this quality of story and animation it will be a masterpiece that will knock off some of my own childhood anime dear to my heart because this anime is already clenching it.
I totally expected him to say "everthing great about jujustsu kaisen, JUJUSTU KIASEN." boom ends video there.
I need part 2. These videos are so refreshing.
The scene where Megumi is about to use a technique that scares Sukuna a bit is so much more incredible once you learn about the technique
"Everything great with Jujutsu Kaisen"
I think you mean
"Everything's great with Jujutsu Kaisen"
the animation really is beautiful
Gojo makes me gay somehow.
Yuji is a chill dude.
I think you mean jojo
"Yuji is a chill dude"

This gotta be one of the best and most consistently animated series out there up to this point.
11:08 you are correct, it is often used in photography and film to get our eyes to focus on what they want us to focus on, or subtly hide something by distracting us with something else.
I’m half Japanese do my first language was Japanese so it was so great to see this show and voice acting and animation was great and was not much like any other anime I have seen and I love seeing all the different domain expansions but I hated it when junpei was transformed but I hated that the last episode of the season came out a few days after this video came out
I just want to hear you admit you're a fellow Yami simp. It's really nice that there are so many genuine people in the Anime community.
With all these twists and good characters I can't help it; the show is to good for me to suffer between season waits early in the story.
omg yes, i’ve been waiting for this, thank you!
so surprised you didn't include that moment around 13:00 when itadori punches the wrong part of the wall. there is so many funny moments in these first few episodes, but that one was always just such a genuine, funny thing for them to do to break through the tension.
man, i just love this show so much.
I’ve been waiting for this! 😊 Poor Junpei...
1 win you missed out on was a literal panda doing parkour
I love that you love the OP. I quite like Eve's music, and I

39:31 Reading the manga this line is really impactful
That moment when you're a manga reader and you can confidently say it only gets better from here.
It does. Sweet bloody hell, it does 0_0
Shibuya arc PART 48
Shibuya and the flashback arc are really great arcs that make this series a gem
I usually start watching something then when I get impatient cause the next episode is taking too long to come out in my head I read the manga to get my fix. Damn it does get better and that's saying something
@@atpr3241 when you realize the Shibuya arc is literally going to be an entire season
I'm needing the second half like now please. Great video!
This. This right here. You did such an amazing job capturing all the amazing elements of this show 👏👏 I just wish you could have added in some more of the character building/story telling scenes In there as it is amazing w some great twists and character building.
@@AnimeWins I'm pretty sure he/she is talking about Gojo's domain. I was also kind of disappointed that you didn't even mention that scene.
@@az639 Dunno why you'd think that, they specifically mentioned, "domain expantions" and then followed it up with, "Like it’s such a unique part of the power system". Definitely doesn't sound like they're asking about 1 persons ability, but instead the whole system.
defiantly my favourite anime of the autumn 2020/ spring 2021 seasons
There is a prologue or volume 0 which okkotsu yukki is the main character. It is called Jujutsu metropolitan technical school I think.
You know an anime is good when it gets 40 wins by the end of episode 2
God that was so pleasurable to watch thank u for making funny but very entertaining videos
Finally I have been waiting for this
One thing I really like about this anime is that, not only is the MCs OP powerup state his own character, he's literally the main villain of the series. I know that superpowered evil sides have been done before, but having it literally be the the big bad is a very fresh idea! I'm honestly really looking forward to what they do with this as the series goes on!
next we'll be seeing the kyoto sister exchange event arc!! which is definitely one of my top arcs
Ohhhh nice. Happy new year by the way 😁
One thing that I love about jjk is that they hint at stuff that will be explained later on like special grades, domain expansions, curses/cursed energy, etc
finally we get a jujutsu kaisen video
Another great shounen joins the family!
Awww I thought you were going to cover episode 13 as well that one is TOP TIER!
Wouldn't be the 1st half then
@@AnimeWins Ohhh you know what you're right. I thought this season was going to be 26 episodes. My bad.
First time seeing your channel but I absolutely loved your energy in this video, definitely subbing.
"Look at that. Look at it!" Love it
I discovered this man while searching "Sukuna" on UA-cam and you are an embodiment of an anime god.
I'm pretty sure some of the people who animate this are also animating Attack on Titan as well, which explains a lot.
I love your videos. Thank you for your hard work.
I love how the salaryman explains what "zangetsu" was saying to ichigo in bleach, that the techniqe becomes much more powerful when the opponent knows it's name and the way it works. :p
Hey the dub is also AMAZING!! The guy who only says "salmon" and "rice" lol sounds amazing in dub, the sounds are great in dub, best dub of any anime I've seen! and I am a sub person :D
part 2 soon hypeeeeeeee
There’s a ton to love about this anime but one of my favorite things has to be how nobody is useless. Everybody we get to see in a fight carries their own weight and gets at least one moment to be a bad ass, and it’s amazing
I was so happy when I started watching, and the OP was done by EVE!
