Sounds like you are coming full circle. SL, to full fat and back to SL! The SN looks like a sweet bike. And the Mill is pretty a unique place, with some great trails to demo.
Back on a YT. They are a local company for you so that works out good if you need anything for the bike, You should try an Intense bike. They are in your area and make a great bike. If you go to Intense HQ they have all the original bikes from the 90's on display. Classic bikes like Shaun Palmer's X Games bike.
@@K1ngJame5-mtb it rattles but not to the extent of not loving the bike, I’ve ridden all motors and they all rattle. You just have to pick your poison lol.
@@andreabuscemi1985 yeah, good question. The SL feels more like a trail bike (which it is) whereas the SN feels like the full on enduro that it is. From my short demo ride and the short steeps on the trail I rode, I would trust the SN way more than the SL for the DH. Hope that helps
I’m almost ready to purchase the full power decoy, but I’ve been waiting for a legit review of this bike.. I believe you spent some time on a regular Decoy (your buddy’s) not to long ago.. I’m wondering which one you’d choose? Dog park is basically my backyard so that’s the terrain & trails I’m most accustomed to (yes I’m the mental one doing laps on the non eeb 😂🥵) thanks! Also, I know they do demos but being 6’4 I’d need an xxl, which they don’t demo (at least that’s what I’ve been told)
@@benroberts8637 hey Ben, i actually bought a decoy and rode it for the last two months. I sold it yesterday to finance the SN which I plan on buying tomorrow. I really liked the Decoy, its bulletproof and plows through everything. For me tho, I rather have an e-bike that can assist me to the top (not boost me) and have it NOT feel like an ebike in the way down (lighter weight) that’s why I sold the decoy and going with the sn
@@russgordon5399 Gravel. After a couple of years looking at gravel I finally got one and I’m hooked. So much fun. And because I’m getting my fitness fix from it, I don’t look for it on an e-bike. Its all fun now. If that makes any sense

Still, you struggle on the climbs with that weak motor compared to the full fat
That creaking would drive me nuts

@@sdtrailrider8070 💯 The Mill is such an awesome place to hang out. Locals are lucky to have this place. And yea, I think I’ have come full circle

Rad bike , great riding and review 👍

I’m addicted to my Canyon Neuron On fly perfect SL Ebike with the Bosch SX motor
The Bosch sx motor rattle doesn’t bother you?

Nice review! have to tried the rocket mode uphill?

Back on the ebike train? Wen't through a similar cycle myself, sold my ebike but now I miss it and another one is on order...
@@samdawson3383 crazy right. Looking to buy this one. Which one did you get?
hi buddy! thanks for the review. How does it compare to the heckler SL? interested more on the downhill part. thanks

Looks like a fun bike. I am way too addicted to riding in boost on a chubby e bike. Dog park you need an e bike. 👊👊👊

I’ll trade the bit of struggle for a more natural feel on the way down vs the full fat. But that’s just me
