- Stock manifolds, o/r x-pipe, no mufflers. Yes for those of you wondering I plan on putting a catback exhaust on it with mufflers so I don't wanna hear y'all bashing on the car for having straight exhaust. It's only temporary!

I raced my friend's 400 whp tuned intake/exhaust 5.0 liter 2013 mustang, it was dead even to 100 then he pulled a fender
Forget the mufflers, that sounds amazing!
I love the sound of these loud cars
Make a drive by video like mine man haha I wanna hear that cruise by shifting at 3,000rpm sounds awesome loud woo!!
Heck with adding mufflers. Ive been running straight pipe for about 4 to 5 years on mine and getting electronic exhaust cutouts installed this week. But mine isnt a daily driver either.
how do you straight pipe an exhaust or where can you get some good exhaust for a 2004 stang
id get a tune and just get keep it straight piped, the tune will alow the car run without mufflers so you wont lose power. In my opinion a car sounds the best without mufflers especially the stangs
Sound great what's all done to it
That sounds like a streight piped volvo xc90 v8 without the mufflers, resonators and cat converter.
Im about to cut of the cats on my mach. Ill make a vid of it within the next week
yes I know i was going to buy a full bolt on one lol.
What exactly do you have done to it? no mufflers and no cats?
french friend fart flower? are we in the 2nd grade or what?
Don't get too cocky, I had a Mustang too, but facts are facts. The reason why the new big blocks don't produce as much power is because they aren't designed to. GM makes a lot of restrictions, but with simple mods it really opens them up. Cam sizes, runner sizes, CR ratios, total CFM all have a roll in how much power an engine makes. But a big block will always make more power than a small block in the end.
Fuck buying expensive ass mufflers
What's your setup?
I did the same thing to my mustang and my camera doesn't pick up the sound. what camera did you use?
I used an IPhone 4s at the time the video was made
Holy shitttttt
its my friends car. no cats and no mufflers. same as my mach 1
I don't think you get the picture. I'm a Ford guy but to put it that way is stupid. A 5.7 LS1 weighs about the same or even less than the 4.6 DOHC, and it is smaller in dimensions. They're both aluminum block so that helps in weight but DOHC takes up more weight and space versus OHV. The blocks are also the same size, because the 4.6 has more bore spacing.
BBK long tubes, o/r x pipe with an slp lm1 catback converted to straight pipe on my 04 Mach, no fucks given. Sounds a little deeper though. Maybe thats just your camera, or maybe thats my headers...
I miss the way my car sounded straight piped, of course it was so obnoxious on the highway tho:/
hell yeah! Ls1 owns mach 1's all day LOL
How loud was this in car
It droned bad at around 2k rpm but other than that not too bad
my friend's mach 1 runs 14's @ 104-106 mph lol
He sucks at driving then cause they ran mid-high 13's stock. Shit my '97 Cobra went 13.8 bone stock right down to the paper air filter and factory cats/mufflers.
Does having it straight piped mess the car up ?
Christopher Blunt not at all
itsoundzgood thanks alot . My dad is about to get me a 99-04 Mustang Cobra and I was
looking for ways to make the car sound better.
Christopher Blunt I’ve always liked the sound of chambered mufflers
itsoundzgood do you know of any inexpensive muffler websites?
Raspy
it's the tiny microphone o the camera phone. it's too loud and powerful for shitty iPhone lok
why would you waste the thousand dollars on a heavy expensive ass exhaust setup when you could just run clean long tube headers to a true dual straight pipe for less than a few hundred bucks? and it would sound magnificent
+Andrew Long I didn't actually spend a dime on this setup.
+itsoundzgood its my preference but I'd rather hear the growl of these beasts
It's it's a naturally aspirated motor, you need backpressure
+Justin Lenart it makes absolutely no difference. a turbocharger engine should have less back pressure. either way you would have enough wIth the headers and rest of the plumbing
Andrew Long That Back pressure Thing Is A Myth That People Believe Because They Use To Remove Converters & Lose Power Because They Didn’t Tune It Afterwards.
I'm laughing at the Camaro guys my Mach 1 is stock minus, 3.73, short shifter, x pipe, no cats, and a tune I ass rape the Ls1 Camaro, the now not so new LS3 Camaros, Hell every Camaro I've bee. Against haha.
I have one problem. Respect others. 7am my neighbor started his up. Babies. Disabled Veteran..... Place for everything. Peacw
What a place for everything? it's an exsaust it's not like he was burning out
So you had a problem with him starting his car? Lmfao
Must be nice to not need to wake up at work at 7 A.M
sounds good! check mine out.
Yeah, I'm a good driver and still would probably run a 14 with that slow pile of fucking fail. Nice try, Broseph Stalin.
LS1? Look. Camaro's suck. The only Camaro I have respect for is the original 60's. why? Because their classics. But, last I checked the Camaro has always had one serious problem. Power to weight and Power to CID. The old 281 DOHC put out 300. The new 302 puts out 412. Where the same old 6.2L can barely keep its own with a smaller engine. Imagine the power of that coyote was a 429 and made the same power/size. We already went over 200 in a 5.8L.
