Honestly, it's tough to see the aurora in Whistler, especially in the Winter when it can be mostly cloudy. Thus why this was a 10 year project. But generally you need to be looking north'sh with a clear view to the lower horizon, maybe from Rainbow Park, Lakeside Park, etc.

Is this green lake? In whistler the next few days and hope to catch a glimpse of the lights.
