Omg. My first trip to New York in 1988. I was 16. Sitting beside who would turn out to be my first love in the front row of this show. With her right in front of me. To say I was blown away is an understatement. This is amazing. Thank you.
I can't believe I was missing out on her talent I was too busy seeing for colored girls, Fall From Grace👎👎👎.. it's beneath her.... Now i loved The Old Settlers it showed her talents and dis play did and claire Huxtable of course

Yoooo this Phylicia Rashad!!! She is talented!!!! This is incredible.
Into the woods with her as the Witch was my second Broadway show in my life, after Le Miz was the first one.
I used to run home after school to watch this play
Wow she did an amazing job! Her and Bernadette are incredible as the witch.
I JUST found out that she played this part. I really want to be vocal director for this show at some point.
Wonderful
Masterful.
This is such a wonderful performance.
I feel she would have be nominated for the Tony if she originated this
@Robert Lee, Countertenor trust me I know. Just like I know she was in the original Wiz
@Robert Lee, Countertenor god, imagine betty as the witch
@@ginonovantashe was in the original workshop. For whatever reason, it didn't work out.
So good!!! Lol!
Do you have the whole reel of highlights of her as the witch?
I am afraid not.
Her characterization, although much less zany, is closer to Betsy Joslyn than Bernadette.
Who the heck would be foolish to try and steal from Clare Huxtable
Not me!
Maybe Heathcliff?
Rudy...
I liked the characterization, but the way she kept dropping the volume of her voice during the song made it hard for me to hear some of the words

I like for colored girls now that I'm older I didn't like it at first I thought it was too dramatic
