If you have Get Together, there's always a cowberry plant at the Spice Festival. The cowberry bush will just say "Bush". Seasons might affect its harvest time. But so far, that's the quickest way to get a cowberry.
The monster defender will SAVE my life. Currently doing the 100 baby challenge and I HATE when all the kids wake up at the same time, then wake everyone else up. 🤦♀️

Also, there's a cyan-colored wall hung night light (a cloud with projecting stars) from Parenthood. In fact, when your sim sleeps next to it, after waking up, you a get a positive moodlet (something about waking up next to the precious warm glow of the light etc. etc.) Albeit, for me, since it's in the child's bedroom; I'm using a loft bed, so I don't know if I'll get monsters that way anyway lol. Because I have a desk under the bed. 😝

You are missing things. The Sport aspiration prolong your Sim life and make him less likely to get sick. Complete the Cooking aspiration, and the food prepared by that Sim will never spoil. The Independent Herbalist aspiration makes the Sim immune to fire, and makes him MUCH better at extinguishing one. The University Study allow your Sim to start some careers at level 2 or 4 (for a prestigious diploma), or 8 if he also have the Connected trait. ALL completed aspiration give your Sim some interesting traits that they can't get otherwise. Also, just starting an aspiration in a category will reward you with a bonus trait.
Oh wow thanks Cher, I never knew about using that light to stop the monster under the bed, it gets so annoying that I got into the habit of just giving the child Sims all full size beds so I don't have to deal with it all the time! But now I can just place that cute wall light in their room and not have to worry about them bothering their parents or just not sleeping! 😊😉👍🏻

I’ve been using that special light for a long time. So the kids don’t bother me with the monster which would be a pain if your goal was to be the matriarch and have gazillion kids and grandkids.
Never knew about the duck one (and haven't yet gotten far enough in knitting for the Grim one), but congrats on finding another 20 things, as I'm sure it was tedious, if nothing else. I've a few for you, if you're ever doing another (I won't spoil them too much if I can avoid it): -You can do a special interaction when using romance on a yoga instructor (Spa Day). -There's a cute little vfx "event" on the road out by Windenburg Pond (top leftmost neighborhood). -Emotional Texts (Get Together) will prompt a reply based on the emotion (the flirty and playful ones have 3 variants each). -There's an often forgotten function in the "work/career" tab in the phone when unemployed. -There's a debug bookshelf in the default Willow Creek library (or the upgraded one in your own library) that has an extra bit of usefulness for all libraries if used in them. -Watch a movie from Movie Hangout all the way through, then talk to a sim and look for a special friendly interaction. -Speaking of Flower Arrangements, gift a Death Flower-scented one to any sim that isn't an elder, and then gift one to an elder. -Use Transportalate (RoM, Medi-portation (Spa Day), or Bat/Mist Form (Vampires) on a room with no normal way in, and/or put the walls down on a roof and use them there (it can even be a flat roof). This one is pretty straightforward, so the spoiler is the instructions. -Go to the bonfire in the Ancient Ruins in Windenburg, and bring trash with you, as well as a bound voodoo doll and the person it's bound to, then light the fire. The interaction for the doll will be on the fire (make sure to keep an eye on the bound sim). The one for the trash will be on the trash pile itself (place in world if need be). This one is pretty spoilerish, but it needed to be for you to see both. -Keep digging into those snowglobe boxes in San Myshuno. Even if you get snowglobes, just keep digging...you'll know what you're looking for when it happens. -Have a Sim die in the water in Sulani. -Collect all 12 bird feather types and put them together (Cats and Dogs). See something "familiar"? -Picture this: an urn/headstone in your inventory, level 6 Charisma, and a podium for your sim to use (wasn't found by me, so I can't take credit for it). -Ask yourself: Do people really know just how useful the Decor box from Seasons is, especially when low on funds? -Speaking of lightning striking something, it may be useful to look at the ground whenever (and wherever) lightning hits it (not a common chance, but it'll happen, and I don't mean the lightning striking). That should just about do.

I remember one time I was playing the sims with my older sister (i had made one of the sims that she was playing with, i just was watching) and the sim I made found a monster under the bed. She went into build mode immediately and bought the light and placed it above the bed. I am obsessed.
You can also find the cowplant berry in Silvan Glade. All you have to do is interact with the tree that's next to one of the starter lots in Willow Creek.
About that monster under the bed: most of my children were afraid of this monster, but Iggy Pancakes, for some unexplainable reason, befriended the monster and he would receive an energized moodlet every morning
You'd be surprised! Most of the time it's newer players who don't realize the suggested actions actually help the Sims' moodlets, but ya never know. I see a ton of players in FB groups who aren't aware or just found out about little elements like that 🙉
DO NOT WASTE YOUR SIMOLEONS BUYING SEED PACKS!! Just have your sim go to a public lot (preferably a park) then go into edit mode. Lay out all the packs you want. Then go back into play mode and have your sim open them. Ta-Da! Free plants of all kinds. Including any career exclusives.

Taking a «bath with soaks», muscle relaxing, will get rid of the muscle ace uncomfortable moodlet, and make the sim energized and ready for another work out session right away 😄 makes it easier to complete the fitness aspiration 😄
One thing I've found in the game that I haven't seen on any of these videos is the death scented candle. You all know about the death scented flower arrangement, yes? Well there is a candle making table from Eco and when you get high enough skill level you can make mood candles, these are scented, and there's a death flower one.
Personally I use the candle making table to teach my sims the fabrication skill, because they can't use the fabricator properly until they are skilled in fabrication.
The easiest way to get a cowbell plant is to go to the Romance Fesitval with City Living. At that festival there's loads of different rare plants. Have your sim harvest all and they'll have a cowbell plant at the end!
hey I hope this makes sense to someone, I have a question about using the gallery to download other people’s shared content from the game. If the person I’m downloading stuff from used CC or mods on a pc and I’m using a ps4 with just normal expansion/game packs, will I still see something like those McDonalds posters in my game? I’ve been playing sims for years and never really looked into this feature so I’m excited to try it
If it's cc then it'll disappear when you place the lot down. If it's similar to those McDonald's posters then it shouldn't disappear. What you want to find would be paintings that a Sim made through the 'painting by reference' interaction. I'm not 100% sure how the Gallery works for console players or if console players can access lots or households uploaded by PC players though. Hopefully this helps 💖

Fishing is a great way of getting cowberries! I didn't realize how easy it was until I went fishing for them while filming this video. It was kinda surprising 🙉

Hello! I have something for the cow plant area! when I was messing around at the spice festival laughing at a bush I hovered over a cowplant berry bush! so if you dont want to have to go over the proccess of working for it just wait for the spice festival ( If you have city living )
For monster under bed, you can use bed with 2 lvl, or the one who their is only a bed up and nothing above. The kid can become friendly with the monster too
I may know one you DONT know: if you click the button right of the computer mouse, and then click on any random sim, y’all have the option „get to plantsim“ then your sim gets green and y’all have the need of water and sun. That need gets up if you go in the sun or give your sim water to drink. You will have many other options too, but I don’t know all 😅 nice day anyway
Yes! I actually made my evil Lucifer Sim into a plant Sim like this and was very worried he'd stay like that forever 😂 I have to admit though, I really miss the plant Sims from Sims 2, especially Rose Greenman 😻😭

Do you recommend using the sims 3 camera settings? I get a fuck ton of bugs like when i press the up feature on an item and the camera automatically moves me to a certain spot on the lot, when picking an item, when i press the + button, it doesn't go through the swatches available for that item ... is this cus i have the sims 3 camera enabled ??? help
I do recommend using the Sims 3 camera. I find that it's easier to navigate with that mode. Try out the normal Sims 4 camera to see if it's the camera mode or if it's the lot. Sometimes that happens to me when I'm on certain lots. It's very frustrating! I'm not sure about the + button not working. Maybe it's because of the keyboard you're using? I'm not too sure. That sounds like a very weird bug. You could report it as a bug and see if someone over at EA/Maxis/Sims team would help out and respond to it. Originally, I liked the monster under the bed idea but now I can't stand it. It does get annoying but for two reasons: 1) because kids randomly ask their parents to spray under their bed. (I turned off monster under the bed with MC Command Center so this ask is redundant.) and 2) because teens have the ask to spray under the bed option available to them too. Teens should be past the "there's a monster under my bed" stage. I would much rather have the imaginary friend back.
No, you don't need the cc to be able to download the paintings of the cc. It's really awesome because it allows players who don't want cc in their game to experience some aspect of it! The paintings are, indeed, done by a Sim painting from reference 💞

The easiest way to get a cowberry is to go to the Spice Festival and harvest all the plants they have there. You get a berry each time.

The easiest way to get a cowbell plant is to go to the Romance Fesitval with City Living. At that festival there's loads of different rare plants. Have your sim harvest all and they'll have a cowbell plant at the end!

hey I hope this makes sense to someone, I have a question about using the gallery to download other people’s shared content from the game. If the person I’m downloading stuff from used CC or mods on a pc and I’m using a ps4 with just normal expansion/game packs, will I still see something like those McDonalds posters in my game? I’ve been playing sims for years and never really looked into this feature so I’m excited to try it
If it's cc then it'll disappear when you place the lot down. If it's similar to those McDonald's posters then it shouldn't disappear. What you want to find would be paintings that a Sim made through the 'painting by reference' interaction. I'm not 100% sure how the Gallery works for console players or if console players can access lots or households uploaded by PC players though. Hopefully this helps 💖

Fishing is a great way of getting cowberries! I didn't realize how easy it was until I went fishing for them while filming this video. It was kinda surprising 🙉

For monster under bed, you can use bed with 2 lvl, or the one who their is only a bed up and nothing above. The kid can become friendly with the monster too

I may know one you DONT know: if you click the button right of the computer mouse, and then click on any random sim, y’all have the option „get to plantsim“ then your sim gets green and y’all have the need of water and sun. That need gets up if you go in the sun or give your sim water to drink. You will have many other options too, but I don’t know all 😅 nice day anyway
Yes! I actually made my evil Lucifer Sim into a plant Sim like this and was very worried he'd stay like that forever 😂 I have to admit though, I really miss the plant Sims from Sims 2, especially Rose Greenman 😻😭

Do you recommend using the sims 3 camera settings? I get a fuck ton of bugs like when i press the up feature on an item and the camera automatically moves me to a certain spot on the lot, when picking an item, when i press the + button, it doesn't go through the swatches available for that item ... is this cus i have the sims 3 camera enabled ??? help
I do recommend using the Sims 3 camera. I find that it's easier to navigate with that mode. Try out the normal Sims 4 camera to see if it's the camera mode or if it's the lot. Sometimes that happens to me when I'm on certain lots. It's very frustrating!
I'm not sure about the + button not working. Maybe it's because of the keyboard you're using? I'm not too sure. That sounds like a very weird bug.

Originally, I liked the monster under the bed idea but now I can't stand it. It does get annoying but for two reasons: 1) because kids randomly ask their parents to spray under their bed. (I turned off monster under the bed with MC Command Center so this ask is redundant.)
and 2) because teens have the ask to spray under the bed option available to them too.
Teens should be past the "there's a monster under my bed" stage.
I would much rather have the imaginary friend back.

I play on ps4 and there are a lot of custom paintings in the gallery. So no cc is required for those 🥰
No, you don't need the cc to be able to download the paintings of the cc. It's really awesome because it allows players who don't want cc in their game to experience some aspect of it! The paintings are, indeed, done by a Sim painting from reference 💞
