As someone who loves using Flame of the Fell God to surprise Hosts/invaders with the spell, cast it standing next to/inside a wall for immediate detonation and, usually, a One shot on those without 1800 HP. (please note some walls have weird collision boxes and it may on the rare chance fizzle out of existence)
Hey, love to see another lv.200 Showcase! If you’re taking suggestions, I’d love to see you take a Lv.200 Lightning faith caster for a spin! Also you probably got at least a few comments like these in a previous Lighting build video, but just thought I’d suggest some things to try with that kind of build that I hadn’t seen in the previous showcases. Take it with a grain of salt as you’re definitely a far better player than me, just thought I’d share some things I picked up in my own experience. 1. Honed bolt and Lightning strike have the same animation, and can chain together when cast one after another. While Honed bolt is pretty much always better, if someone knows what they’re doing the timing can become predictable. However, if you cast Honed bolt 2-3 times then switch to Lightning strike, you can often roll catch people with the delay. Especially effective in water, as Lightning strike’s AoE almost guarantees chip damage against someone in an area like Liurnia. 2. I like Death lighting - even though it’s kinda bad, it can get some really good 1-shots. Fortissax Lighting Spear does a lot of what Death Lighting does better, but I think that the cast speed, unpredictability (semi-random boot pattern), and 1-shot potential gives it a niche. Plus I think it’s funny to kill people with it. IMO, charging it is a trap; it’s too slow to reliably charge, and if your build has enough damage boosts (2x gravel seal, flock/faithful canvas, Lighting cracked tear) the uncharged version can often 1-shot if it lands. Especially with how, even at lv.150+, so many people are allergic to investing in vigor. Using Endure, then switching to 2x gravel seals and immediately casting Death Lighting can be a pretty mean turn and burn. Results may vary. Also, while you will never get Deathblight to proc, the death cloud can be used as cover if you whiff the cast itself. If someone starts backing off as soon as you begin casting, you can cast a quick incantation (like honed bolt) from within the cloud and sometimes catch people off guard. This has only worked for me a few times, but when it did it was pretty cool. Anyways, thanks again for another great video! The great content you put out every day really helps make the endless wait for Shadow of the Erdtree news more bearable haha
One thing I think would be interesting at some point is to see you make a "greatest hits" build cobbled together using elements you really enjoyed from all these themed builds.

Things for chase to play with: wizard away 9000 shield, weapon incant infusion on strengths builds , shield only build, torch only build, all dragon weapons(dragon slayer build), quality mage build(fai/int), raptors of the mist on true combo weapons and so much more !

A high level golden order build would be nice to see. They really come into their own once you can go 60/60 faith and int and have enough health and fp to actually function.
So is it possible for a mixed build, having casting in the left hand and weapon in the right? I have that currently and am not doing nearly as much damage as you. Also I’m lvl 150, so that may play a part

The power of Swarm of Flies is its excellent homing and forcing your opponents to respect the move since bleed procs still do devastating damage.
Crazy to me how many fogwall hallway invasion spots there are.. it seems really rather pointless to have them so close and that there's still no connection filter for anyone outside of Japan that has actual functionality.

as a pyro you should definitely also use oil pots and roped oil pots for that increased 50% buff to fire damage

Regarding the flies incantation, I think that’s still a viable strat for malenia, so they probably only has that set.
