In this video High-Tech Membrane Roofing show an overview of a flat roof installation. The roof was an EPDM rubber roof and was only 4 years old. The facia on the old roof was too high so rain was not draining properly. The new roof which the High Tech Flat Roof team installed is now 100% watertight and storm proof and rain is draining away properly.

I agree with the others. this is just a poor install. the drip edge should be fitted over the field membrane and fixed through providing the necessary fixings on the perimeter to avoid wind uplift issues and then a cover strip over the join

This looks like protan membrane the best stuff I've ever hot air welded great to work with

That is the worst corner detail and welding I have ever seen , this isn’t hating it’s just true , you need training , they would never guarantee. Your work ,
