I see you're uncomfortable talking about the exact salary residents get. You've avoided it in more than one video. Not sure the reason, but it helps others coming in to know if it is enough to move to Dubai or not. Daily living in Dubai is expensive, as is housing.
From what information I've been able to gather, residents get paid 10,000 dirhams per month of which 2,000 is held till the end of the year because of fear of people leaving the residency midway either because of visa problems or other issues. This is for Dubai residencies at Rashid. This may be outdated information, so it would be great if you could confirm or clarify if this information is correct.

P.s new sub 😉😊 (I wanted to be a marine biologist working with dolphins and then as I got older, and doing a lot of volunteer work at a nursing home doing art activities with the residence, I decided I wanted to be a nurse) I now live with two disabled people whom my Husband and I care for full-time in our home. (My Uncle, being one of them, has had 2 strokes and is partially paralyzed on his right side and his gf has a TBI from her families car getting hit by a drunk driver when she was 8 years old, her twin sister passed and she was in a coma for awhile before she woke up) I LOVE working with people and got my CNA when I was younger and went to college for nursing but the nursing program was a LONG wait so I started working in the home health field and fell in love with it, and have been doing it ever since. My dream is to get my RN or BSRN eventually. ♡♡♡Can you do a vlog of a tour of Dubai, I have heard it is so beautiful ♡♡♡

Do not get Residency in a country you do not live. Most countries do not accept a residency from another country. Even if they do, there is additional training and multiple tests
Why not living in UAE? It's an amazing country!
Medical Intern If that's where you want to live, sure go for it. But fyi, UAE does not provide permanent resident visas or citizenship no matter how long you live there. So if they change the laws and cancel your work visa you'd be forced to leave there. If you still want to live there, do it, but I thought everyone who's planning to do their residency there should be aware about all the cons of it as well.

I just watched it and thanks for addressing my question, but you really didn’t answer the question of “how to find clinical attachment opportunities in Dubai...” I understand that having LORs from Dubai physicians are not a requirement for applying for the residency, but for those who are interested in finding such opportunities, how do we find them? Is there a site or broker firm you used, etc?
Also, could you kindly find out from your friends about the Dubai 1 year internship? Can we apply without having done the internship in our home countries/countries where we attended med school? Is it a strict requirement for the Dubai residency application? Are there possibilities to be offered to do the internship in Dubai if we are accepted into a Dubai residency without having done the internship?

Hey Dr. Raga! I am really confused about this year of internship. For example, I am from Spain, my MD degree was 6 years and the 6th year was all hospital rotations so entirely clinical. Is this what it means? since graduating i work as a general doctor in a health center in Ibiza, while i await to decide where to do specialty with my partner, probably dubai! would this serve as the internship? i am very confused, your help would be appreciated, love your videos!

ahmed ashraf lol I grew up there and trust me English will get you by fineee! Most people born and brought up there don't even speak English. But it's always a plus if you learn because you can handle emarati patients aswell. It gives an add on to your salary.

Joseph Thomas You need 3 years of work experience after competing your MD. You have to pass DHA/HAAD/MoH license exam and then you can start working there.
If you do your MD in India.....be prepared for a seriously rough time
