Great video! Keep them coming!
Enjoy these videos, thanks man!
Thanks, man! I appreciate the feedback 👍
I remember buying select certified back in 1996. Gold parallels were a tough pull and I don't remember seeing too many. I never had any luck pulling any out of packs. Great video!
Thanks for the ❤!
great work on vid fun to watch
Thanks, Greg! I appreciate the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I enjoyed making it 👍
Great info ! Thank you 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Glad it was helpful!
...Another Awesome Video as well as Another Like Button SMASHED...Good Job MATT !
Thanks for the smashing of the like button Victor and the feedback!
Have a couple of these! Great vid as always home skillet.
lol, thanks Jordan! You have great taste in who you collect! 👍
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR childhood bud.. you know!! :)
Great video. I have #23, #21, #20, #6(x2) and #2. I haven’t sent them out to be graded yet. I just finished watching your PSA How To Submit? Video. I hit 👍🏼 on both videos and am a new subscriber of yours. Thanks for sharing
Great informative video
Thanks for the feedback!
Nice. I have the 92 Topps gold and 93 Bowman, bought out of packs from when I was a kid.
Very nice 👍get em grade and the value could double if not triple by the end of the year!
1993 cards are his true rookie cards. Rules regarding rookie cards were different then. Now a player must appear on a MLB roster first before his rookie can be made
Yeah, guys of all ages will forever be debating on what a true rookie card is. I like your summary, though. 👍 it makes sense.
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR thank you. When they first started using (RC) in Beckett , I realized that sometimes its meaning is different than RC without the parentheses. It can get confusing for the average collector. I consider minor league cards pre-rookies since they are generally made a year before a players rookie card
I call the 1993 Topps Score, SP, Score and Upper Deck rookies because they are major league issues from licensed manufacturers. The Classic's from 1992 don't rate to me, they have him in a high school uniform and aren't licensed. And parallels are never considered rookies. Still wouldn't mind having them though.
@@thecardsaysmoops3 the pinnacle and stadium club Murphy cards are nice too. Lol. Used to have 2 sp rookies I pulled from packs
@@jasonmatteson9909 They are. I collect Yankees so I've got some weird ones like the 93 Topps Inaugural Marlins and Rockies and the 94 Topps Spanish (sleeper)
I have his mirror gold thinking of sending ot out for grading. Its been in a tip holder since 95' lol didnt even know I had it till i oulled them out from the attic. Cant wait to go through then after all these years there has to be a lot of gems in those cards. I have thousands. I had no clue they have gone up so much over the years. My best friend and I used to buy them by the box at the flea market with our allowance. Select certified and Bowman best. I was in love with those refractors. I still have three bowman best Vladimir refactors as well and a hideo nomo and chipper jones mirror gold certified select from 95 . Wish i would have kept getting them into 96 dang o well
When I was younger my dad bought a lot of pinnacle 93 for under 5 bucks at an antique store. And put it in a box. 15 years later when we moved I found it in that box and opened the box the lot was in. And low and behold there was a 1993 derek jeter rookie mixed in with it. Was in pretty good condition. No whitening from what I could tell and corners are sharp
Love the videos! Just sent in a 1995 bowmans best blue refractor to get graded. Hoping for a 9 or 10
Awesome card! I almost added it to the list. It should probably make the next one for sure after more sales have gone up. Awesome card though, one of my favorites to collect. Good luck on the grade even a 9 would be awesome!👍👍
Hey Matt! Your videos are always welcomed and very informative. Could you possibly do a video on a top 10,20 or however many more cards that we should collect and grade before its to late. Kind of a FOMO session? Pretty much for any sport of your choosing
Thanks for the feedback! The video topic sounds interesting but I'm not sure what you mean by "before it's too late" lol like the end of the world?
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR you know, when it's too late to buy into a card. For example you could of purchased a Ronald acuna jr for a couple buck, then it sky rocketed In prices once he performed good etc
@@Niko-Suave Ohhh, I see. I could do one on players that are getting ready to retire, maybe. I don't really buy recent rookie cards and expect to make money within a year on them. That just doesn't seem like a good investment. For me, the player has to have at least 10 years of proven success with future potential in order for me to spend any money on their cards. Just bc a player has 1 good year doesn't mean he'll have more. It's really difficult to predict that. But, I see where you're coming from. I might do the active veteran rookie cards to buy now, that seems like a great video topic suited for me 👍
I'm sitting on a few of these ungraded. Hoping for a big jump in price when he gets in the HOF. Great viddy, mate.
Never a better time to invest in Derek Jeter than now! His cards are going to skyrocket after he gets in! 👍
Got 5 of these need help pricing them there currently ungraded but 3 of them could definitely be 9-10s. Suggestions?
@@painfully8849 I would get those 3 graded and sent now because once he is inducted to the HOF, prices are going up!
Best place to grade them you think?
@@painfully8849 I have a large Jeter PC and I would recommend SGC. Most attractive slabs and super solid-graders. Stricter than PSA on centering in my experience. I have recently seen some pieces of work in PSA 10 cases. SGC is well-known for pre-War and vintage, and is the primary up and comer in grading modern cards.
Plus they have a 9.5 grade, which I really like for a high end option at a lower price point than a PSA 10. To me there is no discernible difference.
But, honestly, prepare to be disappointed. Unless you've looked over your cards with a highly-trained eye at 10x magnification, you truly have no idea what grades your cards will get. Not to mention the subjectivity of the particular grader, which simply cannot be replicated. But, hey, at $20 a pop, may still be worth a shot. Good luck.
THKS
I have every one of these except the #1 gold mirror. Although I do have the red mirror on the way!
Nice video! You should do another jeter one!
I'd love to see you do one of these card videos for bo jackson cards
It's already done!
What is your opinion on the Jeter 94 signature rookie auto that was a mail in promo 1 of 3000? Is that a good one or the other signature rookie that you ranked 10 a better card? Asking because I’m undecided of which one to get between the 2. Great video btw!
I received a Jeter 93’ sp out of the pack. In 06’ had it graded bye BGS. It came back with shaved edge on top. I never touched it. It should grade around a 9 or higher. I guess I should give it a shot with PSA? Not sure why it would come back as that?
i watched your intro and thought my $300 headphones were broken
My brother has the #2 card on the list but his is autographed 66/93 buyback card, and also the coa that came in the pack
I have one of the autographed Little Sun High School cards ... yes, only 250 of the autographed version were made
Best card imo
Your #8, the 1992 classic four sport auto. How would someone go about finding out how one slipped by without being hand numbered to 1125?
12:40 I found this card at an antique mall and am excited to grade it
Hi, I’m new to this whole baseball card game.. my friend gave me a huge binder full of cards he didn’t want over 12 years ago. Found the 1992 draft pick card of Jeter in it and figured it was worth something.. how do I know what condition it will be graded? It’s been sitting in a plastic sleeve protection all these years and looks very brand new.. can someone give me some tips/advice? Thanks
Im pretty sure i have that jeter micro card If its in the box set I took off the plastic but look at a couple cards n havent touched it since the early 90s Any interest?
I have #6 but isn’t gem mint. Is it worth getting it graded?
I have the derek jeter upper deck 1994 top prospect card of him in his clippers jersey, is it worth anything?
WOW, WOW AND WOW !! I got some....WOW. I need them graded but like others I'm afraid I won't get mine back. How can you send them and hope to ? ! Gosh, and I was told non of the 90's ...of any sports was gonna be worth anything....but I kept hanging on. I am so thankful you do this ! I have some suggestions for cards ....but, I need to get mine out 1st. I almost sold them as a bulk purchase a few years ago...glad I didn't. Now I have a question, if y'all were gonna put them together to sell would it be by the players or team or year? I love them, but getting older need to clear out things and I have no one to leave them to, so I need a vacation and to do my bucket list LOL. Happy carding !
Hey Wanda! Thanks for the feedback. If I were you, I would separate them by player and sell in lots. It all depends on the rarity and condition of the card. If you have a bunch of cards from the early 90's, chances are they aren't very valuable unless they're graded PSA 10 gem mint condition. If they're Derek Jeters then they will be valuable un-graded. There's a lot of factors that go into the value of cards. It just takes a little patience and research. Which is all part of the fun!👍
I've got the micro in a sealed set...damn I'm thinking of opening it...also have the U.D. ungraded...
DON'T OPEN IT MAN!!!
I actually have the card listed at #2, but I'm sure it wouldn't get a PSA 10 grade. It's been sitting, unsleeved, in a plastic see-thru box for a number of years. I'm pretty sure I could find it, but it'll probably take a few weeks.
If you have a 1993 SP Derek Jeter card in raw condition that looks "decent" it is currently selling for around $175. Get it graded and it comes out a PSA 7 and it'll be $300, PSA 8 = $700, PSA 9 = $5,500! So I'd get to hunting!
Dude find it because it's STILL valuable
Just some unreal money for those cards!
It's only going to get crazier after he gets inducted into the HOF 👍
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR Very true. I wonder if in 30 years he will rival the same influence Mantle has had on collecting?
I have 10 sheets of the front row draft pick 92 uncut with Jeter,Wallace,Motiola,Helping,Jason Giambi and Tucker. Do those have any demand?
If perfect condition then yes! No psa 9 or 10s! I have two at psa now
What is (D.G only)" mean on some of his prospect autos
Does it make the voting more I have a football card with the coating on it
Great video. Why do they call the 92 stadium club “Murphy”? Thanks for sharing man.
Thanks for the feedback! Here's some info on the Murphy sets: The 1993 Stadium Club Murphy set is a 200-card, Hobby-exclusive, set. The set features 100 Draft Picks, 56 All-Stars, all 25 members of the 1992 USA Olympic Baseball team and, and 19 post-season highlight cards. The set was packaged in a molded-plastic box designed to resemble San Diego's Jack Murphy Stadium, the site of the 1992 MLB All-Star Game and each set came packaged with 12 over-size "Master Photo" cards.
Nice. Now I know where you’re talking about. Thanks for the awesome info.
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR I have some "Master Photo" cards is there any value to those cards?
Used to be that a players RC was the first major issue card. That was before they actually started putting RC on the card!
It started getting confusing around the late 80's I think they were called Future Stars and Prospects?
I admire your furious use of colors in your clothing. Mr. Furley
That's an odd thing to admire about someone 😂
If someone’s name uses the word Constipated you’re going to get some creative comedy. Love it.

constipated in sin city 🤪🤪🤪
How can I send cards to sell and not be sent back ? Who do I trust? Thank you.
I have the #4 Derek Jeter, buts it’s got two gold emblems on the upper and lower right-hand side. I’ve had a super hard time valuing this card through research, but there is one on EBay for 13k. Surely that can’t be correct.
I just found two of his 1993 Upper Deck Gold Holo cards in my collection, did not know how much it was worth 😳
So glad I hoarded Jeter 1992-2000 cards
Man, I missed the bus on that but I started a little while ago. I'm thinking I got on early enough to catch his 1995 and 1996 stuff 👍
Dude I apparently hoarded everything as well. I was mostly Just into basketball, but I found tons of 70's, 80's, and even early to mid 90's baseball, football and even hockey cards I had forgotten about Probably 30 year's ago now. Oh and who'd have thought '86 Topps GPK cards would have gone through the roof as well! Have series 1-5
I have a 1996 Pinnacle Zenith Jeter is it technically a rookie then?
Wow I have the Derek meter card that sold for 168,000 going to go see if it’s in 10 mint condition if it is I will go insane
Did you go insane? Was the card worth $168,000? Hope you came out a winner with that card.
What about a 2020 numbered 5/10 Derek jeter worth keeping
I need to pickup some 96 Jeter rookie cards
Evidently there are a lot of die-hard collectors that say his rookie cards are 1993 only but I think, similar to today, his cards leading up to his 1996 rookie start are all his rookie cards. He won rookie of the year award in 1996 for cripes sake lol.
I have 2 of the upper deck gold top prospect. In good condition up for sale
Hi! I know I'm going to sound dumb here but how do you know if the card is gold hologram? I have #449 Derek Jeter but can't see any difference in normal base and gold hologram versions.
On the back of the card. There's like a diamond on the left corner. It's usually silver. I think this one is considered the normal base. It's still not a bad card though.
Hi, PSA, i own a TOPPS GOLD DEREK JETER ROOKIE ITS SIGNED BY HIM IT was signed in his last allstar game i have pictures and all... i need some advice about this, how can i contact u
I've got the #12 Topps Finest Sterling but without the protective cover... If only I would have known then what I know now
Still worth $$$$
Don’t get me wrong I love this video and all the work you put into it but not all of us are going to seek out gem mint 10s It’s all about what people are willing to pay
Damn I got lucky. I bought like 1 pack of Bowman96 and I happen to get the JeterRC. I seen somebody rip a whole box and not getting 1
Do u know anything about his 1996 leaf limited rookie. I thought those cards were so cool but nobody ever made a big deal about that set and the cards were awesome. 1996 leaf limited
Its Not a true rookie
Oh yeah, that card is on the list - the gold parallel. Great looking card 👍
O shit im sorry i had the regular one i might of lost it. Im gonna look for it tonight. I only got the Kenny loften gold
How about top 25 Derek Jeter 90's inserts? I could give you a hand with some of the research if you want to produce anad narrate it. We could do most valuable or a select mix based on price, rarity and general badassery.
I have the 1992 Derek(#21) plus yesterday I was looking through my old baseball cards that my uncle had given me and I found the 1993 Bowman Derek Jeter(#19) I am so happy that I found them.
Pretty sweet I have a lot of those cards ungraded.
Nice! 👍 gotta love the 90’s junk wax era. Graded or not.
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR I pulled the 93 SP Jeter from a pack in 93. I payed $5 for the pack.
@@Collectorholic What I'd give to go back in time! Do you still have it? 😱😱😱
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR Yes. Just recently took it out of the screw down it was in since 93 and put it in a mag holder.

Derek Jeter cards getting ready to explode! The market will prove how collectible he is here real soon.
Mr.psa...,
It,s utterly phenomenal the prices of Derek Jeter,s cards.
I have two questions.I have a1992 4sport uncut classic sheet with D.J. in gem mint condition.Do you think I should have it professionally cut & graded or will it become more valuable as is?...,also, I have a1995 world series that worn by D.J. in that series given to me by his cousin .I have no Provence, but am positive it,s authentic as DJ,s cousin gave it to me 2 weeks before he passed of cancer. How can I verify it,s authenticity .I don't know if DNA is possible to obtain on the interior rim as it,s from 1995 world series!
What do you suggesr?
My ph# is 941 296-5308 in Sarasota,Fl.😋
His upper deck sp rookie was his best rookie. Not sure if a graded 10 even exists do to foil chipping. I believe those were the first foil cards that were made.
A PSA 10 just sold for 180k
@@gabrielkawa432 most collectors want Beckett graded cards. psa passes cards much easier than Beckett .A Beckett graded jeter sp upper deck rookie doesn't exist only 9.5 .
@@ronsilvia8127 Yes but this is investing and considering ROI, PSA wins.
@@gabrielkawa432 i agree a graded card is better than a non graded card but it's all about preference which graded system a person likes.
@@ronsilvia8127 That's correct as well
Little Sun autos - 250 made. and roughly 50 unsigned (PROOF) Little sun cards. those are VERY hard to find, as lots of fake autos on those 50 and hard to find as they were not supposed to be out in public.
I’ve always wanted a 1995 Kroger Jeter.
That’s one not many people know about. I have a few
So his rookie card yr is 92,94,96????? So what is the rookie yr?
my dad has a Derek Jeter 1993 foil card
I HAVE A DERICK JETER CARD ON A UNCUT SHEET OF CLASSIC 4 SPORT.WHAT IS THE APPROXIMATE VALUE? IT,S BEEN IN MY CLOSET SINCE 1993
It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. There is not set value on any memorabilia or collectible. Condition is a huge factor so that has a big part in the value. Uncut sheets don't typically sell for much. What you want is the card in gem mint condition. However, there may be a collector out there that would like this in their collection.

Up, Up, up! A lot of these will actually.
i HAVE #6 OMFGGGGGGG HOLY SHIT
Didn't he debut in 95? So to me his true rookie cards are after his debut in 95 a year through 96
Yooooo
My rule is before 2006 whatever was their first Major Leagues licensed cards are the first rookie cards, after 2005 I just buy one for each year they have a card until there first year in the majors. Major league sports are the ones who made up these crazy rules.
That makes sense, so in Jeter's case I believe '93 would be his rookie year since everything prior was not done by a licensed company?
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR that is my theory, but as you say in the video everyone has there own belief about what a rookie is. However I think any parallel of Jeter from 1993 to 1996 is a good investment if you're trying to make money off of cards. I'm not a investor so just a theory of what I've seen in the last 4 or 5 years. My best Jeter is a 1993 Topps Gold in a PSA-9 slab.
@@bravesfandevotee23 Oh, that's a nice one 👍I've been buying super low 1995 and 1996 Finest and Topps Chrome base graded PSA 9 as well as the un-graded stuff. Which is def. a long term approach. I agree about the 93 - 96 being great investments. Thanks for the insight and confirmation!
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR I can't think of many good cards from 1994. I know there is a Topps Base and Gold cards. I was thinking I do have a 1993 micro card. I found the full set of those at a pawnshop for $5.
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR Do you think Mike Trout's 2011 Topps Traded cards will hold up at $500? I think there were way to many made, I don't even like the Topps Traded Gold at $500.
Why will companies not tell how many of most cards are printed? There are tons of parallels out there without print information.
I've wondered that myself. It would make finding the values and rarity of cards a lot easier!
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR I've given up on ever finding out anything about pre-1990's cards. There are rumor "not saying they're true" that those cards are still being printed. Really though I'm sure their are hundreds of thousands of packs from 1981-1990 that have yet to be opened, probably tens of thousands of unsold sets.
G RJ Oh wow, I wouldn’t be surprised if the 1989 Upper Deck set is still being printed. Which, kills me seeing those Griffey rookies selling for $500+! Who in their right mind is spending that much money on a card that has been publicly confirmed was mass printed by the card in sheets by dealers?
@@GRADEDCARDINVESTOR I don't know if Topps or other companies would still print cards, but the cards made before the 1990's were made with cheap technology. I could see China doing it though, they will counterfeit anything.
@@bravesfandevotee23 😂😂 lol, yeah, you right
U cant have a 94 and 95 bowmans best and then call a 96 his rc
Who's here in 2021 trying to guess how much more these cards are now worth? Unfortunately this trend isn't going to last much longer and we're all going to see prices plummet drastically. Sell now if you got the chance!!
Dude, I'm shocked at how many people do not pay attention as you repeatedly advise them that these cards must be in PSA 10. "I just found a few of these!" Yeah, if you did own any of these cards, you wouldn't lose track of them. Frustrating to me, and I'm not the one futilely repeating myself to this audience.
