    Greenscreen 3D or 2D Tracking is almost the most important thing there is but somehow nobody does it except you. Thank you. I actually speak German but was still understandable. Merry Christmas and a happy new year

    This is such a great tutorial. I know it’s a bit older but do you have a tutorial on how to do the same thing but add a 3D environment. I know it’s probably the same thing but just knowing how to use E3D.

    Awesome tutorial! Thank you so much for making it. Exactly what i needed. This will help me a lot!!! I have one question, if one of your tracking marks is very close to the subject how do you deal with that when keying out the background?

    • @cmdelavega
      @cmdelavega  6 років тому

      You're welcome. Hope it helps! If a tracking marker is close to subject, I would create a 2nd mask (if your 1st mask is the garbage matte), set it to subtract and keyframe it to erase it.

    hey
    what if the greenscreen is big and the object moves from one point to another point and camera also moving along with object from one point to another.
    how can we mask the object

    • @cmdelavega
      @cmdelavega  3 роки тому

      Make sure you have tracker markers on green screen to capture the movements of the camera. You'll need to chroma key as usual and perhaps create masks and possibly animate your masks to erase any areas you don't want to show.

  • @aftereffects00
    @aftereffects00 4 роки тому +1

    Hi I am new here.. i wonder how to edit if the footage if object in the green screen is moving? like for example someone walking from right to left..

    • @cmdelavega
      @cmdelavega  4 роки тому

      Hi! If you can place the tracker markers in a position where the object doesn't obscure them, you should be ok. If the object obscures the markers, you may have to track in segments. The first half with a set of tracker markers, and the second half with another set of tracker markers. In After Effects, you can link the two together by parenting one tracker with the other.

    Does anyone know ? What if the subject is dancing then how could I track the video. ALSO instead of using markers can I choose 2 green screen one for the floor and other for the background.

    • @cmdelavega
      @cmdelavega  5 років тому +2

      You'll definitely want to have at least a couple trackers visible where dancer won't cover it up. It's good practice to have several so in case the talent covers a tracker, you still have others.What you can do is pull back a little wider, place tracker on top and make sure talent doesn't cover all at same time. Not sure I understand your 2nd question. But instead of a green cyc (rounded corner) wall, yes you could use 2 green screen, one for the floor, the other for the wall/background.

    Amazing stuff, can I use an iPhone 6S to record the green screen?

    • @cmdelavega
      @cmdelavega  6 років тому

      Thanks!! Definitely! You should be able to pull off a chroma key with iPhones. I can do it with Samsungs. The important thing is to have good lighting.

    What if one of these crosses is exactly on the edge of the person. Are they then cut out like the green screen or do you see it at the end?
    Sorry if you don't understand something xD

    • @cmdelavega
      @cmdelavega  4 роки тому +1

      You would need to "erase" it by creating a mask or garbage mask/matte using the pen tool. You can also use the eraser tool in AE. Select the layer, double click to go to the Layer Window. Select eraser tool and in the Paint Panel, select duration to Single Frame and frame by frame, erase the tracking markers/crosses. Hope this gives you an insight. It may be a good idea to do a tutorial on how to erase the trackers.
