Well it’s because of the new condos it dint used to look so modern in the early 2000s and the new bridges and lights on the tallest building Bank of America plaza make it much more urban and modern
The northern part of downtown which in actuality it’s called Uptown Dallas it’s brand new. Before the turn of the century that area was mostly empty of high-rises. Most of the buildings there have been built in the last 15 years or so. You must realize that uptown is really the new part of downtown and it’s very big. Most of the area consists of corporate office headquarters but a lot of it is new luxury condominiums and apartment buildings.
Good morning from Poland! 🇵🇱 We just got 8 am and it's time to go to work. I watched another walk in Dallas over coffee ☕ Most of my life I wanted to visit California, Texas, Miami, Los Angeles, the Grand Canyon ... I never had this opportunity, but thanks to you I can enjoy all these beautiful views for a while. It means a lot to me. Stay healthy, everyone ✌️💜 Have a nice Wednesday 😊
You really shouldn’t be that surprise when you consider that the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex is the fourth (most populous) metropolitan area in the country.
The Dallas skyline is beautiful! I lived in the outer parts of Dallas and never got to see the city, only went to the airport when I moved. Edit: if I ever moved back there though, I would live in Houston! I’m a huge NASA nerd and I love the ocean.
@@KingAsa5 better than the beachless green gloomy lakes I live near lake rayhubbard and I truly wish they put more recreational development and activities to it kinda like lake Travis on some occasions
@@KingAsa5 I agree that lake Lewisville would be good for recreational use it’s bigger and already has a small beach but I wish I could just drive five minutes to a beautiful beach with sparse flaws
In addition to the new towers in Downtown (Amli,Hall Arts, Atelier) all the newer 30+ story high-rises in Uptown are really adding real "Seattle/Philadelphia" type depth to our skyline. Not to mention we have a few small mini skyline nodes around the city. Like Houston but on a smaller scale and more are on the way.
That’s all true about the new towers that are going to be built in downtown Dallas but Covid-19 is it going to have a slowing down effect on everything.
I am sure glad that they built the new Amli tower. Its the one that sits just to the left of Fountain Place. It help fill a large gap in the skyline. That tower was desperately needed aesthetic wise. According to the DMN there is several new towers that are planned that will be fully realized over the coming years.
Wow, wow! So impressive from first sight! These people know how to beautify a place with colors. It's such a beautiful constrast in the night! This can be romantic also, good to walk in pair as i see in video too. This is the place to trully feel alive - surrounded by the enthusiasm of others and by the spectacle of city (bridge) lights. Another superb video made by our talented walker. Blessings!
Yeah, that section of town is mostly Hispanic. Just a few mins away into downtown, the demographics completely changes. I’m from Dallas and I’ve noticed the dramatic increase in Hispanics. A lot of them are immigrants...
@@coffeepandacat and you know that how? It’s kinda sad that you only think Hispanics are the only racial group willing to do low wage jobs. Sounds kinda racist don’t you think?
@@214dude2 For the sake of being human, how do I know? Because I've seen them toil away in fields working on harvesting produce and maintaining farms that go to our grocery stores. Also my aunt owned a dairy ranch for years and all of her hands were mexicans. Sadly you are the one here pointing out the increasing amount of hispanics aka "immigrants" in a certain way not realizing how that sounds. My point is they contribute way more to society than the media wants you to believe My friends growing up in highschool were all mexican, and wanted to do better for their families. They are now doing wonderful things like becoming nurses, going into real estate, social workers, education, and wanting to inspire the younger generations after them. I used to hang out with the latino sorrorities and I saw so many women doing their very best to get a good education.
Thanks for the video! I'm going to be in Dallas next week and would love to walk this bridge. Where is the best, closest place to park a car so that I can then walk the bridge?
Hi, there's a free parking lot just right beside the bridge. You can see it at 04:40 of the video. The entrance is at the corner of Gulden Ln and Canada Dr.
I think every state in the United States is as beautiful as the United States is the most desirable country in the world, but now this is not the case.
Well when you allow people to create anarchy and caous and act like their not civilized that is what you get. I support the police 100’percent they put their lives on the line each day I would not want their jobs
It still the best country in the world I have the freedom to come and go as I please in many countries you cannot do that. In some countries you can’t even voice your opinions never forget that
Do you see any crazy or unhappy people in this video? This is the real America for the most part. What you see in the news is the exception. Remember that what makes the news is usually only the sensationalistic bad news and the good stuff which is the majority is ignored. I live in this country (in Dallas) and I have never seen any of the craziness that the media likes to make such a big deal out of.

Beautiful. One of the best skylines in America!
Wish we had more modern skyscrapers to perfect the skyline
The best skyline 💯💯
Wow that bridge thing looks really good with the city behind it.
Impressive how this city that had its skyline built in the 80s still manages to look so modern today
Well it’s because of the new condos it dint used to look so modern in the early 2000s and the new bridges and lights on the tallest building Bank of America plaza make it much more urban and modern
We just need some more skyscrapers to attract more people

Dallas will also be building the new 890 Foot Skyscraper in uptown
And a 1000+ ft Skyscraper near city Hall
