My first reel over $100 was the BG2500. Loved it but not its weight and huge handle knob so I upgraded to a Ballistic MQ 2500, which was flawless. I decided to get comparable reels from Shimano so I went for the 21 Ultegra 2000 and fell in love all over again. Just to satisfy my curiosity, I picked up the Twinpower FE and it is a piece of precision machinery! I hate to say it but the Shimano's are a bit above the Daiwa's, IMO. I love the Shimano's longer spool and the feel of the retrieves.
Good list. I own 4 of those 5. Great reels. If you are looking at quality reels in the 75-100 range look at cadence reels. Been using them a lot for inshore fishing here in southern cal and they are great
That would be a good one! I have considered doing a top spinning reels under $1000 but I don’t fish a lot of stuff in that price range. It wouldn’t be based off experience, unlike these reviews
Some of these reels are similar but you have a mix of finesse reels like the vanford competing against a full metal body reel like the BG. You need to break up your categories a little more which I know isn't easy on the buyers but gives you more content. Artificial guys love finesse style reels. Live baits or heavy metal lures go full metal body.
Yah that’s why I tried to bring in a diverse set of reels for different situations, as I know many people like a “one stop shop” type of video. I appreciate the suggestions though, I’ll look into that for future content 👍🏽
...and the Tatula MQ has features from the Exist. And it has 2 more bearings than the BG MQ BG MQ - 6+1 Tatula MQ - 8+1 I will stick with Daiwa and their beefier Tough Digigear. Had many Shimanos over the years. Just prefer Daiwa.

Agree I love my old Naski. And my Daiwa BG. Something about those reels.
@@gislijonkristjansson5547 they’re so awesome!
I love the Okuma Inspira ISX as an all-round reel for inshore and fresh water
Can you do a video on the saragosa and twin power reels...

I was today years old when I found out people actually want a sub 11oz reel for any reason 😂.
@@DustyNonya, I don't have any Reel over 6 Ounces 😂
What about stradic sw 4000
@@haneef2708 That’s a good one too!
What are your thoughts on the Daiwa bg 8000
Great reel, especially for big game
Best feeling reels. Prob the worst holding up. Ya get that thing wet in salt water, better wash it down right away.
Vanford or Vanford FA?
At the timer of making this, I am talking about the original Vanford. But the New Vanford A is pretty sweet as well!
Shimano spheros deserves a spot

BG MQ - 6+1
Tatula MQ - 8+1

Just prefer Daiwa.
We all have our preferences! Appreciate the comment
