Not really, I was perfectly happy getting married to the woman I love while we were both broke in grad school (technically med school for her.) I was about to finish high school I had my future planned out and he was a high school drop out struggling to find a job. And because of that my family kind of saw him as being a downgrade. And here we are nearly 4 years later. I'm a psychology and med student. And my boyfriend is about to get his high school diploma in order to be able to study physics. If I would have overlooked all of his qualities. Due to the simple fact that he didn't have a job nor a degree. I wouldn't be where I'm at today....which is with the man of my dreams.
