For sure, feel free to expand on what you do. Most of us feel so privileged to be able to see up to the minute exhibitions from around the world. Though there are other videographers who do what you do, your presentations are easily more organized, more easily digestible and professionally presented. I can't tell you how lucky we are to be able to see these videos.
Love the expanded format; loved the walk-throughs in far-flung cities. Both are great and I love this channel for being all the places I can’t be. Always appreciate going along on your art travels so I’ll miss that emphasis but look forward to the day you’ll be able to focus primarily on what is your obvious passion. Thanks for the many thousands of miles trekked and insights shared.
Big thumbs up on your favorites from 2024. Loved almost all of them. Excellent taste, very refined eye. The big standout, and new discovery for me, was the Raymond Saunders show at Andrew Krepps. Big panels, Black artist, mostly black surface, 1980's. Kind of a template for a lot of contemporary art. So yeah go for the new format content. I guess if they're too long a lot of people are just going to skim view them so not sure it will bring in more viewers as Art is kind of a niche geeky subject that "most" average people don't get or have the time to explore.
Mary, I love this format. I think your videos are so far beyond the plethora of gallery videos that flood my media stream. They are tedious and inspiring. Please continue your present work. I also think you should do NYC art excursions -- you would be so successful!!!🎉
Great selection of works!!! 👌🏻💯 Would be cool also to see some lesser know galleries that are showing promising artists, i know time and logistics-wise must be crazy to cramp it all together, anyways great stuff, congrats 👏
Would you show us and talk about your personal collection??? That would be awesome. I definitely hope one day you will do artist studio/ interview visits. They would be fantastic.
Three cheers for Textile Art & Fiber Art!!!!!!! So glad that this art form is finally getting the props in the art world!.........................but im a tad biased😉
Coincidentally, last week I was skipping through your visit to the Biennale and thought how much more I’d enjoy it if I’d known your opinions. Perhaps you could overlay parts of your visits with commentary like you are describing here. I certainly don’t need or want to agree with everything, but I respect your views and enjoy your descriptions. Great idea to expand your content. My place has 2 very large abstracts with a fair amount of black… haha! Keep up the good work. And thank you.
Happy to see more about your perspective. Some constructive critique: The background image is fun but at least for me, really distracting from what you are doing. I would suggest something darker and less "objective". Think of something more akin to the mid grey backgrounds you would see in a photography studio. Something that plays better with your chairs colors. I would also suggest playing with the framing. It feels like we have more headroom (between your head and the top of the frame) than feels comfortable. Keep up the amazing work!!
Love the casual format, always learn something on your channel! Livin the dream! Keep it up!
Yes please! Love, love, love your channel.
Great to hear ❤️, thanks so much
Yes. . . Love hearing more of your commentary in this way! More please. . . Love your channel!
Art is Art and then there is everything else. Namaste !!
I love your channel. I share it to fellow artist friends. It’s a great resource to check out what’s currently going on in the art world.
Awesome, thank you!
This was beautiful and inspiring! Thank you so much, Mary L..
Can't wait to see your art collection!

Nice work !! For sure the Julian Schnabel show was extraordinary , what a American icon ! Perfectly timed too. Thank you.
Approve! I remember some of your early videos where you talked art world stuff and enjoyed those.

That’s why the art world is so special, all the geeks coming together 🤣
Inspiration from here goes directly to my studio. This cannel is my tonic.
Love that 🙏🏼

Yes! I agree, I also had some issue with the sound in this one, but it’s a bit of trial and error! I will keep experimenting
Thanks!
Something about Elizabeth’s work evokes Matisse.
What / Who is the piece behind you? Is that Basquiat? or Tal R?
It’s an early work by Jenny Brosinski
@@MaryLynn_Buchanan love it! I second a comment below - would love to see more of your personal collection
👍👍👍👍👍
LA is now burned but you can go to Stockholm again, it was very nice videos, also from Venice
LA is a vast city and none of the major gallery areas (Culver City, Downtown, Hollywood, Chinatown, Bergamot Station) were impacted directly by fire.
@ but the Picasso museum burned down, they didn’t even have a fire alarm
Who did the painting behind you? I enjoy and appreciate your videos. Thank you.

Mary Lynn please quit your day job and make this a full time career educating the world on modern art!
My God I'm in love with this girl
