It was mentioned (I believe in the soul society arc) that one of the requirements for becoming a captain is having a Bankai. We know that there's a single exception to this rule, Kenpachi. Regarding Ichigo and Aizen, recall that Aizen had a monologue in the real Karakura Town about how the strongest trigger to evolution was a real, legitimate fear for one's life. With the amount of strength Aizen had accumulated at that point, beings that could make him truly fear for his life so he could reach the next level were incredibly rare, so he couldn't just wander around and hope one appears. Ichigo and Gin were Aizen's plan to fulfill that role. Ichigo was his main plan, with Aizen knowing that he had incredible potential if only he could unlock it, with Gin being the potential backup that he knew might be strong and cunning enough to pull it off. Aizen was aimlessly roaming around Karakura Town and messing with Ichigo's friends in the hopes that Ichigo would have shown up and become strong enough to threaten Aizen in his mullet form and allow him to further evolve into his butterfly form, but Gin beat him to the punch and did it himself first. Of course, this says nothing about whether Aizen had other plans for Ichigo or not, so I'll just end it here.
Keigo Asani: So your bankai is kinda like Squid Game? Renji: What the fuck is Squid Game? Shunsui: Bankai However I wanted to share a theory with you (I think it was a theory, I can't find it anymore), about how Zanpakuto worked that I'd like to see some of your thoughts on. Shikai is how characters present themselves while Bankai is a manifestation of how characters actually are. Soi-Fon likes to think she's powerful, slick, deadly etc like her two-stab Shikai. In reality she's loud, temperamental like a child, and weak. It kinda makes some things more meaningful as to why we never know or see if Aizen has a Bankai, because we never know his true identity. At least that's the theory. Also I fucking love your theories. I don't think I can say more than that though.

Be it simply wanting peace and normalcy or suffering injustice, we can wonder at how many Shinigami no longer have ties too and have had to readjust to life away from Soul Society. Especially since the human world lacks the rigid hierarchy Soul Society espouses as a key tenet.

KUBO approves of how the information was being interpreted by them and how the stories are being told. Here is a quote from Mrs. Makoto MATSUBARA herself: "After the series had ended, a dream meeting was held with Ryôgo NARITA sensei in attendance, who was working on another “BLEACH” novelisation [CFYOW], here we were allowed to ask KUBO sensei anything that we wanted to learn regarding the setup and so forth. So, whilst checking with KUBO sensei when “I want to present characters like this and I’d like to try something like that”, the story expanded."
Huh he kinda got close once or thrice. They are definitely better than my "Isshin is actually the Soul King manifestated in the human realm" and the "Aizen is actually Ichigo's brother and they're both the sons of the Soul King" theories that I had around this point of the manga
19:09 It absolutely was they did try talking to them multiple times but they wouldn't listen so they HAD to be killed otherwise creation would've collapsed into itself more or less It's like you have to make the locomotive decision except on one side is all of creation while on the other are a few hundred people that are actively putting creation at risk of collapse and will not stop doing so Easy choice to make That's not to say there wasn't more to it but even if there wasn't it was already an obvious choice to make
This reminds me when 2 of my thories became true, and all in the same arc (the last one) haha. I recomend you return to the first interantion between Isshin adn Ryoken, there is kind of a clue, I didn´t see it the first time.
So, I am now very curious for you to learn more about the Quincy. Let us just say...regarding morality, the Bleach universe is not a "Pure good and Evil" type world...And the conflict between the Quincy and Soul Reapers really show that.
Interesting, i want to give my opinion on this theories, but every way i can think of doing it involve spoilers so... I will just stay quiet this time.
You have a point that the whole intrusion into Soul Society was a break with the natural order of things but that felt a lot like delinquent youth trespassing into some restricted area and getting into more than they can handle. The first opening of the anime underlines that quite well. Then, this break isn't necessarily the fundamental change you imply here, it could just be youth sowing their wild oats (which isn't to say that they don't have a reason for their actions, they do and a grave one at that), and as they mature they come to terms with that world into which they've stumbled. There's a lot of space between condoning Rukia's execution and upending the order of the universe.
So someone else mentioned Kenpachi Kiganjo, but yes, the Kenpachi that Zaraki beat was revealed long ago in a data book. I'll mention though that with your other theories. One is kinda somewhat close to something that will happen in this upcoming arc and the rest will all be revealed in the final arc
Exactly, me too !!! Like in this video he reasoned about Kyoraku using only his shikai through all this fights. So now he surely view him above the others. But if he think about all of them, one a time. He will notice other few potential Kyoraku’s “collegues” (in terms of power).
I miss those times when you can still theorize something in bleach. Hope the series go beyond the manga is intended to so we still can make more theories about hell arc…

"Are the novels canon?"
Tite Kubo provided canon information and sketches to both Ryôgo NARITA, as well as to Makoto MATSUBARA in order for them to write their own novels.
I cant wait for the mario party reveal
Huh he kinda got close once or thrice. They are definitely better than my "Isshin is actually the Soul King manifestated in the human realm" and the "Aizen is actually Ichigo's brother and they're both the sons of the Soul King" theories that I had around this point of the manga
Tbf they are at least very cool
19:09
It absolutely was they did try talking to them multiple times but they wouldn't listen so they HAD to be killed otherwise creation would've collapsed into itself more or less
It's like you have to make the locomotive decision except on one side is all of creation while on the other are a few hundred people that are actively putting creation at risk of collapse and will not stop doing so
Easy choice to make
That's not to say there wasn't more to it but even if there wasn't it was already an obvious choice to make
This reminds me when 2 of my thories became true, and all in the same arc (the last one) haha. I recomend you return to the first interantion between Isshin adn Ryoken, there is kind of a clue, I didn´t see it the first time.
I wont tell you which theory made me like the video but yes.
I will just stay quiet this time.
bleach is a much better written story than that . literally the best written shonen
You know the saying of the math teacher " Well..your conclusion was wrong but you were on the right track " At least 2 of your theories were that. :)
I like a lot of your theories.
After the Fake Karakura town/Aizen arc, id love to know your opinion on who you think the strongest Captains are in order
Exactly, me too !!! Like in this video he reasoned about Kyoraku using only his shikai through all this fights. So now he surely view him above the others. But if he think about all of them, one a time. He will notice other few potential Kyoraku’s “collegues” (in terms of power).
Nemu x Uryu in 2025...we will never lose.
I miss those times when you can still theorize something in bleach. Hope the series go beyond the manga is intended to so we still can make more theories about hell arc…
I am definitively not laughing at the theories, regardless of how close or far away from the truths we know about the series, they are definitively interesting takes about the bleach universe.
my only nonspoiler comment is, all of the things you are theorizing about will be shown further in the future of the series.
Shunsei, the man who is at his deadliest when he is at his most silliness
Well I wonder who the previous Kenpachi was .... (I know)
Had a good laugh watching this 😂😂😂
Now this will be a fun video
This man is gonna lose his mind when he gets to The Thousand Year Blood War
I need more ! Do shikai , bankai análisis and theories pls
