I left my investment banking job in Canada and moved back to India in 2014 (the same year Modi came to power). The kind of transformation I have seen in the past 9.5 years is mind boggling. Things I thought were impossible in India (e.g. rural electrification, sanitation coverage, multi lane expressways etc.) have become commonplace. I don't want to speculate where our economy will be in 30 or 50 years as I just want to soak in and appreciate all the transformative work that is happening around me.

India has challenges 10x than US. But people's will to innovate is phenomenal that creates unique opportunities.

Visiting India after 6 yrs. This country is the next to watch for. Hardworking people, speak English, hunger to grow, friendly to entire world, one world view, does not take anyone's side, neutral mentality, live and let live mentality. Elephant will roar next 5 decades. Hundreds and thousands will come out of poverty. Let us pump this elephant and inflate it so we can sell more products and services.

Being an indian residing in middle east, i can say there is huge change happening in India. Infrastructure is being build at rapid rates. Every where u can see roads being developed. New ports and airports are being developed. Railways tracks are being laid, metros coming up, Smart cities being developed. New ideas are getting appreciated and every child i met try to think out of box. Consumption is thriving. New start up are coming up and getting funded.People are happy and they all including me believe future as bright.. Iam sure India will rise and its all start now..

Burton's face was shining when he was talking about India. His command over global political and economical issues is outstanding. Even he is worried, though, about the negative impact on India's growth if Modi government is replaced. A message for people of India.

Private investing is the best way to go about the market right now, especially for near retirees, I've been in touch with a wealth manager, netted a certain amount of money the last downturn, made it clear there's more to the markets than we average joes know.

The key indicator is SENSEX at 70,000 points. In 2012, it was around 14000 points. It has grown 5X in the last 10 years. Surprisingly by 2025, it is expected to cross 1,00,000 points.

10 years ago if you asked someone whats Indias biggest problem, they would say corruption. Now corruption is the last thing you can accuse the national leadership of. They have 99 other flaws we can debate. But, the leadership is focused on developing the country ar a breakneck pace. I just got back from India. Everyone I talked to was so optimistic about the directuon their country was taking. Modi shows that you can have the popular mandate while making hard bets.

India has always had a lot of potential and will continue to have a lot of potential.

India is booming very rapidly. That is almost unbelieveable for other countries in current circumstances.

On the infrastructure - India is on to it. 74 new airports are being made, increasing seaport capacities, freight corridors and logistics parks, complete railway is getting modernized, will be 3rd largest in terms of kilometers of Metro rail as every major town and cities are getting metro, currently every day 40 klio meters of highway is being built, which is going to be increased to 100 (as per plsbs) etc etc.

Congress has already put a spoke in development by not allowing land bill to be passed. In india we are not even able to redevelop our cities bcoz of this like was done in singapore and china. Nor is vast chunk of lands for industry or roads easily available without roadblocks.

Indian economy is predicted to be doubled in next 5 years. Meaning India will generate same amount of wealth in next 5 years then she did in first 75.

India is definitely the future. Might not grow like 10-15% like China dis in last 20 years. But still it's gonna grow impressive. Right now is the best time to invest in India.
