Hey Bro just wanna thank you for all those awesome informational videos! Great work! And your attention to detail👌🍻. Quick question when your welding all those gussets what mig wire are you running 0.30 or 0.24? Because I know can ams are made out of tin can material. And im kinda sketched out blowing thru it with 0.35?

Thank you! I appreciate that - I know they can be a little boring and in-depth, but trying to teach people HOW TO THINK takes a lot of words and time. Most are decent fabricators with a little practice, but thinking through the smallest details is something people seem to lack so I’m trying to share what I can!
I used both 035 to start and ate the rest of that spool and it didn’t weld as nice so I stepped down to the 030 and she worked way better.
X3 is DEFINITELY thin - focus most of your heat into your gusset vs the X3 tubes :)

      I should clarify, I’m talking 0.035 inches and 0.030 inches 😎👍🏻

@foester04 yea for sure man happy to help! thank you for the encouragement! Idk if I’ll nail it, but are going to give it a solid try. An 80” wide x3 with 300hp revs to 10-11,000 rpm and has 4wd with paddle shifters is the goal - been dreaming about that for several years now! lol
