Omg thankssss
I saw the original and I thought the audio issue was a problem with my phone hahahahh
Love ya, thanks for making amazing content for us
@@lovelyrisingstar0444 no me too for a sec and then I realized it wasn’t I was so embarrassed 😭 but thank you for showing me some love even when I messed up
@@ramenjeantv i'll always show love
Hey!! what material was your yarn?
The way you were like “and the first row is doooneeeee 🥰🥰🥰🤩🤩 BUT MAKE SURE YOU COUNT YOUR STITCHES AND THAT THERE’S 33” is literally the thought process all us crocheters have. Donneeeee🥰 😊 WAIT I NEED TO COUNT AND MAKE SURE
Yes , so many times I will mess up a project because I didn’t count my stitches! The lesson is too count your stitches 😭
I love this! I might use a light cotton yarn to make a nice and light baggy top for summer. Thank you for the in depth explanation so we can all crochet along! New sub, im definitely going to binge watch everything else you've done.
im so exited to finish mine ! btw love your energy girl ❤
TYSM for the stitch fiddle recommendation cause I made a small modification and realized the star wouldn't fit, so off of your graph it was super easy to create a different sized star ❤️
Yes stitch fiddle is awesome! If you got the time you should play around and try designing other graphs for other projects it helps spice up your crochet collection
love ur vibe
I have a production for my dance competition and I have to make my own costume so I’m doing a black mesh long sleeve, this is the first tutorial where someone made full length and also is a rut I’m not gunna use the star I was mostly doing it for the sleeves and body but I will definitely make one with the star thank you
You're so pretty omg ⋆。°✩
I love your channel and your videos they are really good !
I don't know how people like you do it getting subscribers is so hard.
omg, you sooo sweet, i'll crochet this top!!
This turned out well, I did struggle to make sure I had the right amount of stitches a few times but that was on me lolol
I like ur energy so much lmao ur so funny 😭😭
Lmfao thank u , sometimes i think I’m annoying af
I love star on clothes :D
Really nice tutorial I did this with my friend (she’s pretty new to crocheting I’d say beginner ish) she kinda had a hard time understanding while switching colors bc she didn’t know if she should’ve chained and then crocheted into the same sticky or the next one or if she should’ve skipped the space after changing this prob sounds weird, anyway great job girlie
I loved this tutorial!! Mine turned out very baggy and oversized but its most likely my yarn weight and i prefer my sweaters that way anyway! If you do any other tutorials with this type of stitch in a sweater i would love to see how you weave in your ends i always struggle with that the most 😅
Which was the type of your yarn?
May 26th, 2023
Saw this on someone’s story and now I wanna make it~ Will come back to this video~
Have you made ?? 🥳
@@hello-yv2we Not yet 😭😭 But I will!! One day lol
@@nazihahere i hope you so goodluck 🤞🤞🤞🥳
would this still work if i used triple crochets and chained an extra in between stitches? i want the holes bigger for summer :)
i love it
Did you turn your work when crochet with graph or just cut the yarn everytime?
thank you for this fr
how many grams do we need for the yarn??(the weight)
Hey I'll be using a weight 2 yarn do i need to change anything or i can just make it as it is ?
Hey can you pls tell me how much yarn you used? How many grams per ball and how many balls you used?
How did you get the correct neck circumference? Can you make an explanation video?
so i started on the sleeves and i dont want them to be too loose. does anyone know of a way to overcome that?. or do i stitch the sleeves after making them separately? please let me know
Omg i love this!! Question also. if i wanted a bit more oversize/bigger could i make the back panel longer..? since i didn't realize the front panel was small(for me).
You could probably add 5 to each side, so instead of 33 you could do 43 ! If that isn’t enough you can add as many as u need (just make sure it’s an odd number of stitches)
I haven't crochet before and I will learn how to do the first two things first, but I was wondering about how long it took you to complete it? I wanna make sure I have time to finish it at the same time as doing school work before I start another project lol
Hey, this may be a bit late but do you know the measurements of the top? weidth and the length of both the sleeves and the top? Thank so much!
what increment could i decrease to if i want it not so oversized?
Hi I have a question about the 10 rows part when I was marking them I got 16 on one side and 15 on the other I don’t know what to do any one know?
Hi i love this top not to be weird but how tall are you? im having trouble with the lengh of it idk what i could do if i needed to make it bigger could i just add onto the bottom?
i just slip stitched the shoulder’s together but the neck hole is quite big how do i fix this?
Can you make a video explaining how to weave in the ends with the mesh stitch? Or do you just tie a knot and cut it?
What type of yarn was used?
guys can this size of a mesh sweater can fit a 12{almost 13} year old? When i was in round 13... it actually was so thick and that was just the legs of the star.. Any help?
how do i manipulate the size
hii may i know what kind of yarn that you used? tysm🫶🏻
What time of yarn did you use?
Hi! So I was wondering if you could customize it to make it smaller? I really wanna make it but I feel like it’ll be to big. Love your work and the top!
hello this is probably late but i js wanted to say yes you can make it smaller but just make sure its a multiple of 3💗
@@0lilx9 omg thank you so much 💗

bro how do i crochet the shoulders on each side??? like how do i continue on the other side?
What if you have 26 to the left and 26 to the right (doing larger size)
hi !! so, i followed along with every single step but as soon as i try to make the star for the 4th row i miss a stitch somewhere but i have no clue where ?? idk if it makes sense but i end up with 32 boxes instead of 33. i zoomed in on the different rows (4 & 5) and it looks identical to the one in the video so i have no clue where i’ve dropped a stitch !! any help is welcome, i really want to finish this 😭
Hi :) i looked at her work, she has 32 boxes too i think she meant 33 as in the vertical stitches
I'm adjusting the size that I am making for my kid and I am wondering where the "17" coming from on the star graph? Wouldn't it be 16? Thanks for the tutorial.
im doing this but pink version🥰😘
I think u may have added an extra row (13) compared from the graph
I dont know to clean up the other side of the front panel(like all the yarns sticking out ) someone help me pleaseeeee
hey i have a question: I've chained 96, but end up with 31 holes. Can i continue with 31 holes, and if so do i have to adjust the star pattern at all? also thank you so much for this video, bless
i got the same thing.. im not sure if you finished this project already, but if you did; how did you handle it and/or how did it turn out?
Maybe you didn't chain 5 ?? If you already chained 96 you should chain more 5 and double crochet on the 8 chain
hi sorry for the late response. i continued in with it and it turned out fine. think of the star as a star in a box, if that makes sense. if you have that boxed star shape, you can add however many or little holes on either side as you’d like (as long as it’s the same amount). lmk if you need a better explanation, ik this one was kinda ass lol
Hii, what type of yarn did u use??
Hii, i keep doing the 96 chains and i found that it end up with 32 holes, but also that the half of 32 is 16, the count you used for guiding yourself for the middle of the star, so i don't really know if with only 32 holes it would work :c
Try chaining 99!
exactly I had to start over twice because I realized it was 32 because 96 divided by 3 (it takes 3 chains per loop) is 32 so she must have meanr to say 99?? But with 32 holes the middle measurement is the same so I really don't know either and I'm still not finished with it
I believe she says 16 on each side of the center point. 16+16+center=33
I thought her approach to the starting chain was interesting. She asks you to chain 96, and then chain 5 more. This says to me that the multiple is 3+5. 96/3=32+5 chains for the first loop. 101 total chains for 33 holes. Very well done @ramenjeantv
@@kdksmomexcelente respuesta. Gracias!
@@kdksmom3:59 watch this. She doesn't put the marker in a square, but between 2 squares. I also paused and counted them. She has 32 there and probably just accidentally said it wrong
Does anyone know what size this comes out to be? I'm trying to figure out measurements but I don't know how to alter this for a size M or L
How long is it in centimetres?
What type of yarn do u use?
hi how many chains and rows and everything can i do if i want to make the mesh holes bigger
I think that if you do triple crochet, chain 3, skip 3 it'll be fine.
hey girl! Thanks so much for the vid, if I wanted to make the holes smaller how would I do that?
Just chain less
Did you weave in all those ends??
i love the way u speak omg😭
what kind of the yarn?
What if I want it oversized??🥹
Howuvh does your project weight? (So i know how much yarn i need 🥲
does anybody have any tips on how to hide yarn tails when switching colors? because with a mesh pattern it's kinda difficult to sew them and if I just tie a knot and then cut them it doesn't look very good :(
Right? I’m so vonfused
how many balls of yarn did this take? ty for making this tutorial 🤎
Around 2 1/2 balls , the balls were about 285 yards (260 meters ) long each
How much yarn is needed
how much grams of yarn to be used?
hi if I want to make it shorter could I do like 5 rows instead of 10?
Yep!!! And you could possibly do one or two less rows at the top too:)
OMG I love the top and I wanna make it, do you know roughly how much yarn did you use?🙃
Maybe 3 of the grey and like a half for of the black! (Crochet takes a lot of yarn 😭)
@@ramenjeantv thank you !
Mine kinda came out bigger/wider at the top- but i finished and dont wanna redo it because I tied all the tails 🥲
Bro I knew as soon as I sas the monster high dolls that this was my kind tutorial
hey! im trying out this pattern and im curious if you meant to say 33 boxes across or 32? i have 33 across and the grid is not even, ive counted yours in the video and it seems to be 32 squares across? unsure if this is a mistake on my part or not, thank you!
No cuz I got 32 squares too and I counted hers and counted 32 too so now I’m confused and looking at the comments lol. Did u end up finding out the problem?
@jorgepatricio5015 honestly I just used the 33 and kept on trucking haha
i am love love loving this tutorial but my star is looking weird af and that’s on me. i’m about to combust. i might have to come back to this tutorial once i learn how to read a chart LOL.
would u say this ends up being a size small or a medium? ☺️
Would say probably both maybe leaning more towards medium but it is supposed fit larger on those sizes (of course u can adjust to your measurements)
hii great tut but i have a question. what happens if the front panel already goes around my whole body? 😭
Do you want it to be over size , because when I was making the pattern I wanted it to be more on the flowy larger side. Because mine also almost went around my whole body
Maybe if you want you can have 29 instead of 33 if that doesn’t work just make sure that you have a odd number of stitches (so the top point is in the middle) ✨if you still are having trouble let me know
@@ramenjeantv thank you so much for answering, it helped me a lot. I think I might just decrease some of the stitches so it’s not too oversized.
how many grams of yarn?
i fucking love you
YOU'RE SO SLAY
Omg stop! you don’t how much slay I feel when another slay person calls me slay!!! ily ♡
i was really confused bcuz idk how to read a graph 💀
Just count the numbers of squares
i keep ending with 32 loops, ive restarted like 5 times and counted but still got 32 whst did i do
Try doing 99 chains instead! Hopefully this works for ya! If you have any other questions let me know!
@@ramenjeantv Thank you so much! front panel turned out amazing
@@alanajo9656 YAYYY ! I’m so glad everything came out good!!
Are we supposed to make the chain in the mesh tight?
i didnt and my turned out great!! i kept it really loose so it was easy to count stiches
hi have a really important question because i want to make this really badly but i dont think it will fit is there any way to cusitmize to make it bigger
I'm having the same problem i think we just add as much as we need to each number they gave us
wait nvm idk how that would affect the star 😭
In another comment she mentioned that if youu want a bigger one you needed to add more to each side, important thing to mention, she said it need to be an odd number always
@@euukalipto ohhh ok ty

do you know how much yarn you would need for the star?
Hmmm not a lot … I would like a small to medium size ball worth of yarn??? Not sure because I used random scrap yarn I had around!
Can you pls tell me which yarn your using pls
She uses 5.5 mm yarn
i counted the chain, it was 96, yet i am getting 32 dc instead of 33 where did i go wrong?
samee 😭
Haiii i got a question can u do it with one color? Like if i use the same yarn for the star can u still see the star?
if i have 37 stitches can i still do the star?
its an odd number
That should work!!!
❤
I like your energy!
Can i alter this as im plus size and how would i?
To have the star in the middle still but bigger size
What if you're plussized?
Hey what yarn did you use? 💖
I used 4 weight yarn (it takes a 5.5 mm hook)
written instructions (sorry if these are badly written or unclear it is mostly just for my own use because i find written patterns easier to follow so i did not put a lot of thought into this lol)
ch 101
dc into 8th st from the hook
ch 2, skip 2, dc into 3rd st
repeat to the end of the row (33st)
ch 5, turn work and dc into loop
ch 2 and dc into next loop
repeat for 9 more rows (11 rows total)
add st marker in the middle (16st on each side) then mark 8st from the middle on both sides. the star should not reach outside of the second set of markers
[for the star:
continue crocheting normally up to the first st marker
crochet additional 3st from that point (these are the blank spaces on the star grid)
color change to color of star
dc into stitch rather than loop for the star
color change back to main color
(and basically just continue following the grid until you have your star)
there should be 29 rows (10 main color 19 star rows)]
crochet 5 more rows of the main color
crochet 12st on each side and repeat for 4 rows
to make the back panel repeat but skip the star and just continue using your main color for those rows
place panels right sides facing in, measure armholes and mark where you want them to end/how wide you want then to be
slst both sides up to the st markers
slst shoulders together
[for sleeves:
find armpit (at the seam) and ch5
dc into loop and ch2
continue around sleeve
sc into first loop to connect
ch5 and continue for desired length (video uses 39 rows)
when you reach the desired length sc into the first loop of your current row and fasten off]
final additional step: admire your star B)
bro. THANK YOU!!!!!! i have been trying to work on this for 2 days and i keep restarting and am so confused with the numbers but wanna make it so bad and written patterns help me so much. you are a real one for this i hope your pillow is always cold on both sides🫶🏻
I love you so much. I FINALLY UNDERSTAND WHY I WASN'T GETTING 33ST
Hello. Im alittle confused… Ive done the 96 plus the 5 and after 10 attempts i can never get more than 19. I tried 104 and could only get 22. I really want to make this but everything Ive tried keeps failing me. I thought maybe i was get the skip 2 wrong but nope Ive made sure every time. I need help please I beg of the crochet gods.
Try doing 99
@@Namee727 Hi sorry Im a little confused I have tried 104 and couldn’t get past 22 so if I do 99 i wouldn’t get past 20. Ive seen many other people in the comments try 99 and it didn’t work for them. I will definitely try of course. Thank you for the help.
Are you sure you are counting correctly? Count all the double crochets, including the starting chain. Make sure you are only skipping 2 chains. 96/3=32+starting chain
If you look at your foundation chain, it should look like starting chain, 1 2 dc, 1 2 dc, all the way to the final dc
@@kdksmom hello yes. Trust me I want to make this so bad. I’ve checked my counting over and over and over. I even got my bf to check my counting he said that it wasn’t adding up to what is in the video even though I had made exactly what she says. This isn’t the first tutorial of hers I’ve tried making and every time it’s not the same. She says make x amount I do that to the T and nope it’s shrinks up or it doesn’t look the same which could just be me but it always comes out wrong.
How many yarn did you use darlin' ?
They said they used 2 1/2 balls
4:20
3:47 saving spot
What if I did this but with single stitches?
if you’re talking abt single crocheting instead of double it’d probably make the holes smaller
The holes won't be there as much and you'll also need more rows cause otherwise it'll be smaller
the amount of things i did wrong in the star part 😭😭
It does get tricky I messed up a few times to off camera 🫣😭
What if i make it with 5 mm hook?
Will the result same as you?
I'm not ramenjeantv but as long as your crochet hook is the same size as your yarn it will work. (and she also uses a 5 mm hook)
How much yarn did u use?
