Hey, great review. I'm leaning toward buying this bike, but I'm short, so I'd have the seat post down pretty low. Can the battery be removed while the seat is lowered all the way, or would I have to raise the seat to take out the battery?
I have my girlfriend riding this bike and she keeps the seat all the way down too. I usually raise the seat when I remove the battery, then lower it back down after putting the battery back in. For her it's not an issue because she doesn't ride the bike without the battery, and it's easy to adjust the seat height.

I tried to add bike to the cart and then proceeded to checkout, but veloctric kept pushing a $10 a month insurance plan that must be approved before final purchase. Not cool.

Did they ban ALL ebikes or electric dirt bikes with no pedals?

@maximumchargeEV Keep in mind any bike that can throttle over 20mpg or has an "off road" selection can be classified as an electric motorcycle. Basically if you're bike can't get classified as 1,2 or 3, it is a moped or motorcycle. Many states don't even allow a throttle of any kind on class 3. Also keep in mind many states don't allow changing speed settings or programming to make the bike exceed classed speeds, right now these are usually just fines or misdemeanor but they may also confiscate your bike since it can't be ridden on public streets. All it will take, now, is for a few kids getting hurt where excessive speed and the unlocking of the bike are involved for these to be increased to felonies. Personally I give it about 12 months.
