It doesn't Leak and the Turds flow Down! Plumbing in the new Master Bathroom. Dormer Addition pt. 2

- Опубліковано 29 жов 2022
- The new master bathroom is watertight from the rain but can we make it water tight from ourselves! In this video we add the drain and water supply lines. We chose to add a new plumbing stack so mom and dad would get the best water pressure in the house! It was also really the only option since we needed the 3" drain line from the toilet to not jump joist so we could be within code.
A month or so later things are looking up....er shall we say flowing down as they should and we have no leaks!

As a plumber you did a few things that I would not do but what you did will work
I trick I learned from a plumber when trying to solder a pipe that is in use and has been turned off... push some bread up the pipes away from where you need to solder. This will stop the water coming down to your solder point and cooling the pipe. Once you have finished with your solder and you turn the water on, the bread will just disintegrate into crumbs and come out the tap/faucet.
Awesome. Great work man. I enjoy seeing the renovation videos!
Hey just to give you a heads up but UA-cam turned off my notifications I thought it has been a little bit since I saw one of your videos this isnt the first time either but I'm running thru the ones I missed been here awhile ain't going anywhere thanks bud
Thanks for checking back in Joe! I'm not surprised, YT isn't what it used to be!
Do you live in a state where you can do your own plumbing?
I think you meant 65 hrs to get the exterior buttoned up not the interior 🤔 you should be giving yourself a big pat on the back for what you've decided to do and actually succeed at so far, it's going to be a well used space. Believe me from one parent to another your both definitely going to wish you'd done it sooner 😊. As always guy's 💯% 👍 🇬🇧.
Thanks Simon! Yes....65hrs to get it watertight on the outside, many more hours to get the inside complete. So far we are absolutely loving the space, should have done it sooner like you said!
Change the trap for your liner drain to a all glue trap not a union n the flr.
Think you need to hire a plumber 🤔
