Lovely memories, we did this walk in May, had a lovely walk, the other half even jogged up scar crags and over causey pike, while I wandered along the bottom of the valley. We stayed in Braithewaite so it was virtually on our door step :) And you put me to shame, I haven't even sorted our May photos yet, never mind September lol! Looks like you had much better weather than us in September, it howled it down all week with storm force winds so we only managed Scafell Pike and Muncaster fell which is a miserable, boggy, soggy lump! Roll on next year :)
May I recommend a drink to the Mountain God, so you are blessed with better weather. If you have watched our videos over the years you will see it works. A pint of Guinness with a Tia Maria placed in the glass before the pouring of the dark stuff. A lovely drink with a purpose, lol.
We do Garry, a slower process as we are much older and less fit, but we still get out there. Please join our Facebook page for information. All welcome. Thanks for watching our videos and good luck with your Wainwrights challenge.
The Lake District is really breath taking. One of the best part in Europe.
A wonderful record for you both to look back on, very well achieved both.

Would it work if I had the Tia Maria and the OH had the Guinness :D
Currently on 91 Wainwright's these are ones on my list. Do you two still do hill walks years on from these?
