There’s allot more going on in these games than I realized lol. I just always played them had fun enjoyed the stories and missions but man I’m not well versed enough to dig this deep. Thanks for your hard work I’m subscribed now lol.
Your Latin pronunciation is fantastic. Here’s a fun fact: When saying words with v’s in them, the v’s would be pronounced like they were w’s. For example: Veni, Vidi, Vici would be pronounced as “Way-knee, We-dee, We-key.”
You sir, are the best. Among other so called themselves "AC Fans", you and other community showed dedication in deciphering many secrets in this game. These so called 'old AC fans' who always criticize the game are bunch of lazy assholes expect Ubisoft to spoon-feed them everything, while they themselves only know the tip of a iceberg about the AC lore.
These translations always make me realize how much my English classes failed me. I have absolutely no clue what a genitive or infinitive case is, or any of the other terms used for parts of language
When dealing with Latin, nouns are divided into cases, wile verbs are divided into tenses. As such, there is no such thing as an “infinitive case.” An infinitive is a basic verb form before any conjugation happens. “To Run,” “To Walk,” “To comment.” This is something that should’ve been covered, or at least mentioned, when you were in primary school. A noun in the genitive case is generally used to indicate possession and is translated as “of .” Take the phrase “Verbum Dei” as an example. Here, ”Dei,” which is the genitive form of the noun “Deus” would be translated as “of God”. You would never have learned about the genitive case in an English class because it is a construction that doesn’t exist in English.
Thank you, man, I asked you in last video. Bring more one video, but this time, speak about Charles The Fat and his supposed connection with Fenrir. "Supposed".

First of all, congratulations for the video, it is really very interesting and a great research job. About the DLCs (Wrath of Druids and Siege of Paris), didn't you find it strange that there were apparently no consequences in the modern days story, as there were in AC Odyssey? Do you think that in year 2 we will have something new in this regard? I ask this, because at the end of AC Valhalla I had the impression by Loky's actions, he would be more present in the stories of the DLCs...

10:54 it may translate to a quote by Julious Caesar: "Veni Vidi Vici" or "I came I saw I conquered." The translation for the text on screen may be "I saw . . . I conquered" obviously this is missing "I came"
Interesting thing. When you scan the Isu vault through the crack, even if your abilities are fully upgraded it doesn't give you mastery points but 2 ability points. So it's either a bug or, I guess, it shoul mean something.
I’m still curious about the last lines in each ciphered text. And how exactly was the key for the Vigenère cipher obtained. Was it just brute forced or was there a clue in the text? I basically brute forced the Caesar cipher but wonder if the Octavus (which I read as a name but yes also means 8) was supposed to hint at the shift being 18.
Same here! I think we still haven't used all the clues at our disposal (or haven't used them properly), that's why I believe we're not done yet. I'd... imagine Vigenère was brute forced even though the user was super precise both with the password (which wasn't 100% correct) and even with the used alphabet. I honestly don't know about that, in Brotherhood Vigenère was hinted at with a "La chiffre indéchiffrable" line, but here I didn't see any similar hints :( - Markuz

@@Vwall007ST Yeah but as other people have said, if you check it out with photo mode or with the guided arrow, it's a dead end :( Maybe a future update will add more, or maybe the rest loads when you solve the next part of the riddle, if there is one, but who knows
Based on the tweet from the official AC account, maybe each row of the ISU numbers represents one number? We thought it was 30E, F7A, 25 and C1D, but perhaps it should be 30EF7A and 25C1D? That translates to 3207034 and 154653 in decimal, but I don't know what else to do with these numbers. The fact they use a map emoji and a pin emoji probably means we somehow have to get coordinates that make sense out of these numbers. Also, I think it's interesting that to give us a hint, the official AC account retweeted a 2 week old announcement of Siege of Paris DLC coming out tweeted by Centre des monuments nationaux. Perhaps it bears some significance?
I wonder if eivor will sacrifice their eye in order to be able to see? Even if Sigurd was awoken to much of his duties from his imprisonment, he really started diving once he lost his arm. So i'm wondering if Odin is asking eivor to sacrifice part of their vision in order to see beyond
Hi it’s actually PalpitationTop166 Bool001 actually said he might’ve deciphered the numbers. “Right, about numbers. So far I have only this information: • 37 is a prime number, and the highest common factor of 3101 and 3962 is 7 (which give 443 and 566 if you divide each by 7); • this one is very wishy-washy, and I doubt it's actually correct, but here's the interesting fact. There's something called Englishman's Greek Concordance, sometimes referenced as Strong's Concordance, each number represents a word in Greek with New Testament. I've tried to use the corresponding numbers to a word, and in the end I got this: welcome father [sanctify/make holy] a disciple I'm absolutely not sure in this, but so far that's all. I'll try to keep digging. Doesn't look like coordinates as well” Also I am adding this video to the hub
Hey! Same here, not too sure about re-using the numbers as characters or words because in the language they are actual numbers or a conversion of numbers into other numbers, as far as I remember there haven't been conversion of the Isu numbers into words or meanings up until now - it's still a potential lead until proven otherwise though! - Markuz

The hidden ones story here hinted at some assassin working in the shadows. I hope we will learn about that later on. The story of eivor is not over at all. I predict more to come cause there are some huge questions that needs an answer-why did Eivor move to Newfoundland?:)
Also, if you move the 8 to left and get 872, when you do the process backwards (convert to hex, then to isu script) you get something that would be pronouced "eau". Which is water in french. I don't know if it is just a coincidence

So despite being 466 when you scan the message using pulse it gives you skill points instead of mastery points. You can’t invest them in the mastery skills. Is this a hint that this area will be open in future or something
I so missed the bug/glitch when I first watched this. Even if you have gotten all Skill Point's it still gives you 2 Skill Point's when it should've been 2 Mastery Point's. Now I have 2 Skill Point's that I can't use because I currently have all the Skill's. So now I gotta wait until Ubisoft either releases more Skill Point's or releases a patch converting those 2 Skill Point's into 2 Mastery Point's. So I'd say that this has a bug/glitch attached to it. And the only way one would know is to have gotten all current Skill's and have gone down there.
I used camera mode to look through the closed gate by the second tablet and the hallway is a dead end, so it doesn’t look like we’re meant to go through the gate at all. I tried looking through the metal bars where there the eagle vision cypher is but the camera could go through, so I’m sure it’s a dead end too.
AC fans : "Ubisoft doesn't care about AC lore or previous titles anymore!" Ubisoft : Puts cryptic and coded message giving pieces of lore and throwbacks to older title that 99% of players will never notice / understand
might sound dumb but could it be the rats behind the gate that the isu text on the wall is referring too? maybe we equip something in front of the door?
I think it has to do with him historically being kind of sickly. He’s known to have suffered from at least epilepsy and possibly some other things. So I’m sure it’s the creators taking creative licenses with the ac narrative of “not everything in history is at is seems”

I know we should appreciate the dude who found the decipher to the ancient text but can we also appreciate the developer itself who works at Ubisoft who created this ISU language.
To be fair there could be a way to glitch yourself behind that locked gate and get a close up of the vault
I spent like 20 minutes trying to glitch into the temple because I wanted to see if saint denis head was in there 😅. I looked down the other hallway using the guided arrow but unfortunately it’s a dead end 😔. Great vid as always!!
Ha! We've also been told it's a dead end :(
We wonder if there's another way into that!

You blow me away every time! I love this Easter Egg in Siege of Paris. I absolutely loved the Dead Kings dlc and it was so cool to see some of those crypts and tunnels but in this earlier time where they’re more hidden. Really cool the Eivor and Arno walked part of the same path almost a thousand years apart.
Thanks for this video! Great work as always!
No, he actually does it correctly, that had disappeared by the 2nd century AD, when the text is supposed to be from. The W would be from Cæsar’s day.
I love this kind of stuff. Can't wait to see where it leads, 2022 DLCs can't come soon enough
Oh wow, thank you so much!
So true, I’ve been with the games since the very first and still like almost all of them. So much love and attention in them.
These translations always make me realize how much my English classes failed me. I have absolutely no clue what a genitive or infinitive case is, or any of the other terms used for parts of language
Haha! Don't worry! We're here to help with all of that - At least for what concerns AC!
- Markuz
When dealing with Latin, nouns are divided into cases, wile verbs are divided into tenses. As such, there is no such thing as an “infinitive case.”
An infinitive is a basic verb form before any conjugation happens.
Omg this is awesome! Please continue the research, I want to open that gate😳
Thank you, man, I asked you in last video.
Bring more one video, but this time, speak about Charles The Fat and his supposed connection with Fenrir.
"Supposed".
Very nice work !
ATA is the Grandmaster of the ac Lore 😬🙏🏼
This is exactly why I love this franchise the secrets and the even made their own language or it could be real language but that doesn't matter you know
Damn, Siege of Paris deeper than I thought. Thank God it didn't become completely like Wrath of the Druids.
Haha, there are some not-so-great elements about Siege of Paris too, tbh, but this one surely isn't one of them!

@@AccessAnimus agreed, many things I dislike but lore is filled.

Did Ubi low key give us a "monkey see monkey do" isu phrase lol knowing that we'd go through all that work for just that
Does anyone find it funny that a lot if characters know what eivor is yet eivor does not
First of all, congratulations for the video, it is really very interesting and a great research job.
I believe that year 1 will be equivalent to legacy of the first blade, as in focused on history. While year 2 will be Atlantis, focused on isu. That’s just what I’m guessing

I really liked the details and how it ties with unity and i like what you do ❤️ keep it up
Man, if the publisher part of Ubisoft didn't interfere, imagine how fucking deep and cool these games would be?
The devs def care about the franchise, the lore, and just everything AC.
Also love the amount of work the fans put into solving these mysteries. It's insane, especially u guys. Keep it up.
These videos really make me happy.
Great video, thank you for your investigation. I noticed that after reaching max power level and scanning (using Odi'n sight) in the undegrund area with this Isu hologram I didn't receive a mastery point but 2 skill points instead. I am not able to use them now.
For some reason I think the Isu language we see with Eagle Vision/ Odin's Sight is reffering to us as community or to they as in the people behind ATA. This is what I feel like is making sense though I cannot think of anything where the numbers would be used/needed for. In any case, I loved the video and hope there is something bigger behind this.
I was thinking the same, the game is going META
Maybe year 2 will do a Siege Part 2 with all this included and addressed? The tease is too much to bear man, I really want more mystery.
She'll probably be led back to France during the second mastery challenge
@@craftingranger7552 damn, won't that technically violate the fact that mastery challenges are meant to be free? I don't mind but maybe others do.
@@rohit_parashar true but I think most people either got the season pass or the dlcs individually. I may be wrong but my initial thought was the artefact she found us the same as the one Arno found

10:54 it may translate to a quote by Julious Caesar: "Veni Vidi Vici" or "I came I saw I conquered." The translation for the text on screen may be "I saw . . . I conquered" obviously this is missing "I came"
I'm reminded of Rodrigo Borgia reciting the Creed in the Vatican when you're speaking Latin. There's something really satisfying about it.
This is my favorite kind of thing! I love watching break downs of how genius the devs and communities are! SO Interesting!!
I honestly don't know about that, in Brotherhood Vigenère was hinted at with a "La chiffre indéchiffrable" line, but here I didn't see any similar hints :(

A fantastic video. More Isu Lore!
Just went to this location. If you stand at the altar with the cross, goblet and candles that’s directly under the hole that you drop further down into underground, look up toward that hole, there are some stones bordering the edge that have bits and pieces of what look like more Isu writings?
I genuinely cannot tell who is crazier, Ubisoft for coming up with riddles like this, or fans for actually figuring them out?? Anyway, that was mindblowing, congratulations for all this work, and I sure hope there is more to this mystery, maybe if we solve all the riddles we can actually enter the Isu temple?? How cool would that be
Yeah maybe that gate would open. As you can see along the corridor that there's a stair leading down to something

There are six graves/crosses in the inner yard of St. Denis in the game. Each has a different amount of objects next to them. From 0 to 5.
I wonder if eivor will sacrifice their eye in order to be able to see? Even if Sigurd was awoken to much of his duties from his imprisonment, he really started diving once he lost his arm. So i'm wondering if Odin is asking eivor to sacrifice part of their vision in order to see beyond
Hi it’s actually PalpitationTop166
Bool001 actually said he might’ve deciphered the numbers.
“Right, about numbers. So far I have only this information:
• 37 is a prime number, and the highest common factor of 3101 and 3962 is 7 (which give 443 and 566 if you divide each by 7);
• this one is very wishy-washy, and I doubt it's actually correct, but here's the interesting fact. There's something called Englishman's Greek Concordance, sometimes referenced as Strong's Concordance, each number represents a word in Greek with New Testament. I've tried to use the corresponding numbers to a word, and in the end I got this:
welcome father
[sanctify/make holy] a disciple
I'm absolutely not sure in this, but so far that's all. I'll try to keep digging. Doesn't look like coordinates as well”
Also I am adding this video to the hub
Hey! Same here, not too sure about re-using the numbers as characters or words because in the language they are actual numbers or a conversion of numbers into other numbers, as far as I remember there haven't been conversion of the Isu numbers into words or meanings up until now - it's still a potential lead until proven otherwise though!

@@AccessAnimus I've noticed in game some what look like Animus glitches. They're rare, really hard to notice and only happened after ready all the letters you get from Francia and there's a pig near the tattoo building that seems to have ISU writing in it
For me an 8. Good dlc, and vibes of battle of Forli from AC 2. Darker, more focused story. I also like the raid mission feature. However i did most of that after the story arc.
The Massacre of Verden was an event during the Saxon Wars where the Frankish king Charlemagne ordered the death of 4,500 Saxons in October 782.
Nice video. Really interesting.
This is awesome, now ive got 476 power and 1 skill point to spare. This game is great and you are great to figure out all this…
Weren't there some dialogue in the game when the ISU said they couldn't interfere (ISU translation at 11:00)?
Love Your videos! Altho I can't afford Valhalla nor the DLCs, this is still fun to watch, btw what are your guys 3 favorite AC games?
Wow! I have always considered myself a fairly intelligent man but these puzzles are mind-boggling for me! How do you all even know how to start these things? I found that message but there is NO way I would have thought to decipher it the way you guys did!
Im glad ur finding some stuff about the isu because so far it seems really bland. Ubisoft is making it very hard to want to play anymore of their games
Could you do a video about the creepy unknown voice that was talking with Charles the Fat?
It’s a demon… or he is just crazy talking to himself
We might touch upon it in a future video but as of now it doesn't seem to be an Isu-originated story element. He doesn't seem to be a Sage of any kind... at least for what we know!
- Markuz
I think it's "the evil in him" or just a case of split personality, the version of him trying to push his trauma further
@@AccessAnimus Charles's last speech before you fight him, when he's standing next to a grand picture of a saint-woman is: "She's the angel. The saint. The one who shimmers in the Lord's light." Surely he's gotta be talking about one of the Isu women, Juno or Minerva?
@@MAP233224 He's talking about Richardis, who "survived" the ordeal by fire (--> "the one who shimmers in the Lord's Light"). The picture also depict Richardis and charles seems "ashamed" about Richardis discovering it. This "voice" might just be split personality, or something tied to "sage" lore. I think it's juste the first one
Maybe it's talking about the mind controlling powers of the apples of eden, controlling the minds of the humans, as there is an apple in that vault
This channel is so amazing good 👍👍👍💪
I absolutely loved this DLC even tho I enjoyed wraith of the Druids more the story and characters of siege of Paris were some of the very best in AC
Do the hidden ones know something inside their old hideout?
don't know if it's been mentioned but the thing about not knowing when to move to the left; I was down there and used eagle vision but saw nothing, the floating letters didn't appear - until I activated eagle vision while moving to the left - does that make any sense?
Great work! But what does it mean "I don't understand which point I have to move to the left"?
This DLC is peak Valhalla imo.
Very interesting findings once again. Love it.
Thank you!!
When i was inside the temple, i could see that was just scenary, it didint have nothing tô Interact or more scenario tô explore beyond, It is a such small place, i think this is ALL for now around st Denis, but i still Wonder If It hás some odin runes around Francia map, because the update of hildir story its coming
The "first, second, last, third remains alone" and the "second after the third, then fourth after the fifth" talking about the king's tombs in the chamber? There's 9 of them I think, maybe you have to hit them in a certain order or something? I dunno, I'm just spitballing
damn love this channel! I knew is a isu vault in francia... thank you access the animus🥰🤩😍😂
I wonder if the Odin runes play any significant role here since it was confirmed that the content related to it was going to be DLC
When i found the second message in the crypt...2 skill points boom...and i was at max level 466..maybe this is a quest for other dlc????
Would have liked another isu weapon to be uncovered in this dlc
good work
AC fans : "Ubisoft doesn't care about AC lore or previous titles anymore!"
Ubisoft : Puts cryptic and coded message giving pieces of lore and throwbacks to older title that 99% of players will never notice / understand
So the head lanturn we see in dead kings is the Isu Dionysos? Or Saint Denis?
might sound dumb but could it be the rats behind the gate that the isu text on the wall is referring too? maybe we equip something in front of the door?
I found some text through the gate that needs to be opened on the floor, I don't know whether it means?
I'm just thinking here, they see, they do could be a reference an apple of Eden. Humans look at it and they do as told
I was so confused by King Charles and his "possession". can you do a video on that?
I think it has to do with him historically being kind of sickly. He’s known to have suffered from at least epilepsy and possibly some other things. So I’m sure it’s the creators taking creative licenses with the ac narrative of “not everything in history is at is seems”
Thank you for exsiting i thought i would need to fond out the isu language myself
It'll be interesting if these new isu messages will lead into AC Infinity
Here's a weird thought though don't know where to follow with it. Maybe turn the numbers into Roman Numerals and see if it becomes anything?
DCCLXXXII MMMCMLXII
XXXVII MMMCI
Nice video, explains a lot.
Thank you Hussain!
- Markuz
Could the numbers be read as words? I was thinking if maybe they made them look like numbers just to throw us off
When you shoot a homing arrow you can see down the hall
All these are leading to believe/hope we're getting an update/chapter two for Frankia map. I mean look at that cave it's definitely asking to be opened! And the remaining hidden ones hinted??
Far reach but what if we'll need the teleporting arrow skill to go pass that gate?
