⭐️ About this Episode:
Today we get out of the RV and go have some fun! First we go to Adrenaline Falls between Silverton and Durango. It was COLD but a beautiful little spot! Then we headed north to Ouray to check out Box Canyon Falls. Then headed up to Yankee Boy Basin in the Jeep. It was a rough trail but absolutely beautiful!

Beautiful scenery..I would love to see the falls, but climbing those steps would not be possible...and those cliff roads are scary....but glad you guys get to experience that..the kids will have great memories...

Did the exact same thing but in a mini van on Gothic Road, Crested Butte Co. Our Garmen told us to go this way to Aspen. Needless to say "Carmen" screwed up royally. LOL. This road was only meant for 4-wheelers, bikes, motor cycles & feet. 😬 it was crazy, fun & scary. Im glad it happened now. 😉 I enjoy yall's channel. God bless.
We were in Ouray early June and there was no charge at Box Canyon Falls. Wanted to take the trails to Yankee Boy Basin, but I need 7' clearance for my F350 KR CC SWB 4X4 and I didn't think the rock faces were going to offer that. Looks like ya'll had a great time... thanks for sharing!

You really need to think twice before you purchase a Tahoe and think it will perform like a Jeep Wrangler. We have had two Tahoes and currently own a Jeep Wrangler JK.
What you should do is consider the options of real trail vehicles if that’s what you want. And really, maybe wait for the Jeep Grand Wagoneer to come out.
Don’t rush - hang on to that great Jeep a little longer!! And keep the fun videos coming!!

We just were at Box Canyon Falls a week ago (Sept 19). We really enjoyed it. Lots of water from the recent snowfall.
We were just there (in OUray) three weeks ago. Didn’t get to Box Canyon Falls because they don’t allow dogs. Great place to spend a couple of weeks. We got a ton of Wheeling done.

Retired Army Special Forces here.....get yourself a "lady j", you can find them on Amazon or Campmor etc. I always recommend that you try it in the shower first to figure out how to get it to fit correctly. Once you get in the woods you can pee standing up just like a guy. Military, wild land firefighters etc use them.

Cracked windshield like most Jeeps. Get after market that don't crack. Don't replace it with Jeep windshield.

I just don’t think y’all are gonna be able to get to the same places in a Tahoe. The newest ones are IRS, which is a total pain to do anything with suspension wise. If you get a bit older model you could upgrade the suspension and get some more ground clearance, but the overall size is just a beast and really limits you in mountainous terrain (as well as the Ozarks of course).
Have y’all though about just getting a Yakima rooftop box or something like that to keep things in? Maybe that could buy some more cargo space on the JKU? Or what about an older Land Cruiser built up overland style (check out Last Line of Defense channel for an idea).

None of that terrain was too tough for a Tahoe. I would rather have a Tahoe than any Chrysler product for longevity and better quality. Definately better road manners. However...the new Bronco is a real game changer!

I live in the middle of Kansas but have been wanting to check out the Silverton area for a few years. How was it getting the rv there? I also like salida and Buena vista area
No problems in the RV just slow driving up in the mountains

Love Ouray. We have climbed those same trails. The beauty never gets old.
We just returned from Ouray a week ago and have been going there since the early 1980's. We hiked Silvershield trail for the first time this trip. My wife and I both agree that Ouray is a vacation place that we are never anxious to leave.
Well, seems like we're following y'all, seeing as we're in Silverton. So it's cool to see y'alls adventures from the places that we're experiencing right now.
