The sequel is crazier than the first, it's also not a Christmas film so you dont have to wait a year to see it haha. Great reaction as always keep up the good work 🤟😎
The look on Gizmo's widdle face when Stripe spits at him! Never fails to upset me 😭 Edit: Joe Dante (who directed both Gremlins movies) was *not* pleased that baby Yoda was basically copying Gizmo lol
Yoda existed before Gizmo. What did he think a young member of that race would look like? Dude's upset that a series predating Gremlins dared to make a child from an existing race. Man needs to get down off the cross, use the wood to build a bridge, and get the fuck over it.
I fs see the similarities with the movements and everything. And it always kinda bothered me that's what people liked about grogu so much bc I liked him bc he was literally just another Yoda I thought it was cool. He could have been a teenager with acne for all I cared personally, I honestly might have preferred that. But also what else was a Yoda species baby gonna look like, a tadpole? lmao
Fun fact! The gremlins sounds were mostly provided by frank welker, who has done a voice in almost every animated show since the 60s, probably most notably Fred from scooby doo! (Another Scooby doo tie in)
But most of Frank Welker's voices were vocal effects for animals, with his monkey ones being so spot-on that they attract actual monkeys. Pretty sure Fred from Scooby Doo is his only human character.
if you thought this was semi scary as an adult, imagine the kids who saw this in the movie theaters back in 1984, why? because when this movie came out the PG-13 rating did not exist yet. and YES, there's only 1 sequel, and it's quite good :)
Joe Dante directed this, apparently he absolutely hated it. He thought it was dumb and no one would like it. The public however loved it and wanted a sequel. So when he made the second film (which he didn't want to do at first) he decided to go even further with it, positive everyone would hate it this time around (it also has some meta commentary stuff in it) however once again, people loved it, and we never got a third one.
I remember seeing this at the drive in when it came out. You will have a blast with the second one. Fun fact- this movie along with Temple of Doom is the reason we now have PG-13 movies
This movie is a certified classic mate. I always watch this around about this time of year without fail. Also, I absolutely love that score by Jerry Goldsmith, iconic!
Some of my favourite moves of all time, loved Gremlins. The second one isn’t a Christmas movie but it’s just as good, if not better than the first one. It’s just crazy and all over the place. You should definitely watch the sequel next, there are unfortunately only 2 of these movies.
The immediate use of a mean girls reference 😂😂🖤💕 i remember watching gremlins growing up, and everyone wanted a gizmo. Then furbies came out. And then we all learned how real and creepy gremlins are. This is a PSA do not get matilda a furbie.
When I was younger, this movie scared the crap out of me. It took me until about a year ago to realize the ending comments before the credits is what got to me. Rewatching it all these years later, I can now enjoy all the funny and goofy parts about this movie. The sequel is a lot more goofy and I don't think classifies as a Christmas film for what I remember. What's weird though is I saw the sequel about two years after seeing the first one, and I wasn't scared at all by it.
I watched this movie as a kid and it is still my favorite christmas movie. PLEASE please please watch the second one as soon as you can. SPOILER ALERT: there are even more Gremlins in that one
I love the fact that you love this movie and loved the crazy moments, but the sequel is my favorite movie of all time because of the same reason, so I’m so excited to see your reaction to it
I haven’t watched this movie for like 10 years and I just suddenly started humming the song while playing a game with my friend and he found it hilarious that I could remember the song but nothing really else about the movie
I would very much love for you to react to the sequel to this. I grew up with this movie and I wanted my own Mogwai for so long. Highly enjoyed this reaction.
I used to be so scared of the gremlins when I was a wee lad. I was way more terrified when they showed up at my local Peter Pipers as a prize, the fucking things.
"Now I have another reason to hate Christmas." "What are you talking about?" "The worst thing that ever happened to me was on Christmas. Oh, God. It was so horrible. [✂] And that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus." Sweet Christ! 😳 Merry Christmas! ✝️ 🙏 🎄 🎁 Fun Fact: Theatrical movie debut of Zach Galligan. Location Location Fact: The set for Kingston Falls is the same one used for Back to the Future (1985). Both movies were filmed on the Universal Studios backlot. PG-13 Rating Fact: This movie and Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom (1984) are credited with inspiring the MPAA to create the PG-13 rating. Many felt the movies were too violent for a PG rating, but not violent enough for an R rating. Practical Security Fact: Zach Galligan recounted in an interview that when the movie was made, there was no CGI, so all of the Gremlins were animatronics, each costing between $30-40,000. When everyone left the lot for the day, security would have everyone open the trunks of their cars to make sure they weren't stolen. Mythology Fact: A gremlin is a mischievous folkloric creature invented at the beginning of the 20th century to originally explain malfunctions in aircraft, and later in other machinery, processes, and their operators. Depictions of these creatures vary widely. Stories about them and references to them as the causes of especially inexplicable technical and mental problems of pilots were especially popular during and after World War II. Christmas Nightmare Fact: The "Santa Speech" proved to be controversial and studio executives insisted upon its removal because they felt it was too ambiguous as to whether it was supposed to be funny or sad. Director Joe Dante however stubbornly refused to take the scene out saying it represented this movie as a whole, which had a combination of horrific and comedic elements. Executive producer Steven Spielberg did not like the scene, but despite his creative control, he viewed this movie as Dante's project and allowed him to leave it in. Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990) would later hilariously lampoon this ridiculous speech, which I highly recommend.
lmaooo not the fuggler 😂😂😂 we have one of those & our youngest cat is obsessed with it. he carries it around and everything, it's adorable. it was especially cute when he was a baby and he couldn't get a proper hold on it because it was bigger than him
I just thought of something.. They should make a gremlins 3 and have Billy and his girlfriend have so much love family times with gizmo then plot twist he is the one that finally eats after midnight and gizmo cocoons into the most evil one of them all even more than stripe hair gremlin so sinister horror that Billy is forced to kill gizmo that would bea freaking good trilogy conclusion it would be emotional
"Where do you put the tv after you finish chopping the food"..oh you sweet summer child 😂 You leave it there.. cause its the kitchen TV 🤷♂️ hey man, moms did that all the time back then to "watch their stories" (daytime soap operas). Those little tvs came in handy... theyd be in weird places. See, movies are educational
30:19 Watch it! Like watch it now. 😂 It's right up your alley. You'll laugh a ton and have a great time. It's got so many gags. Better effects and a variety of gremlins. That's all I'll say.
Spielberg *produced* the movie, but Joe Dante directed... Dante is Spielberg's peer but WAY more cynical and is a big Looney Tunes fan, and that wacky, snide, slapstick sensibility is always there in his films... like Piranha (70s one), The Howling, this, Gremlins 2, Innerspace (80s Ant Man), Matinee, Explorers, Small Soldiers, and The Burbs. Also Chris Columbus wrote the original R rated draft... he also wrote The Goonies, directed Home Alone and Harry Potter 1.
Always wait for a new video sadly I wish i was watching on a more positive occasion, but my grandpa past away today and I was present for it and it felt like a long day. You always lift my spirits Alex. You're the goat brother! Off topic have you ever watched stitches?
The puppeteers of this movie actually hated gizmo, because he kept breaking, since there were so many parts him
The sequel is crazier than the first, it's also not a Christmas film so you dont have to wait a year to see it haha. Great reaction as always keep up the good work 🤟😎
The look on Gizmo's widdle face when Stripe spits at him! Never fails to upset me 😭

If you think this movie was crazy, wait until you watch the sequel. 😂
"Love it, it's in the movie!"
I think I actually prefer the sequel 🤣
I have decided to comment on every video starting now
Fr but I love both movies
The sequel is literally a love or hate film, would be incredibly interested to see his reaction!
As for me, I think I prefer The New Batch😊
Did you know the dog actually bit the Gizmo animatronic because he thought it was real
Fun fact! The gremlins sounds were mostly provided by frank welker, who has done a voice in almost every animated show since the 60s, probably most notably Fred from scooby doo! (Another Scooby doo tie in)

Omg I do the same thing! lol. When I’m watching older movies and see a dog I always think how it’s dead and then get sad lol.
Joe Dante directed this, apparently he absolutely hated it. He thought it was dumb and no one would like it. The public however loved it and wanted a sequel. You MUST watch the sequel. It parodies itself, and its brilliant.
I remember seeing this at the drive in when it came out. You will have a blast with the second one.
Fun fact- this movie along with Temple of Doom is the reason we now have PG-13 movies
I didn't know I'd come out of this reaction with the knowledge that Pugga is scared of the dwarves from Snow White, but here we are.
This movie is a certified classic mate. I always watch this around about this time of year without fail. Also, I absolutely love that score by Jerry Goldsmith, iconic!
16:30
So cute.
I just love the expressions. They put so much work into the puppet.
I absolutely loved these movies when I was a kid. Definitely watch the sequel. It’s 80s bonkers
Gremlins 2. my all time favorite movie, can't wait for you to see it! also thanks for the upload❤
Some of my favourite moves of all time, loved Gremlins. The second one isn’t a Christmas movie but it’s just as good, if not better than the first one. It’s just crazy and all over the place. You should definitely watch the sequel next, there are unfortunately only 2 of these movies.

Get Matilda a Furbie. Her therapist will thank you later.
When I was younger, this movie scared the crap out of me. It took me until about a year ago to realize the ending comments before the credits is what got to me. Rewatching it all these years later, I can now enjoy all the funny and goofy parts about this movie.

It's funny how you were able to correlate Gremlins with small children. I've been using that term for small children forever 😂
4:17 every time I think about dogs attacking people in movies, reminds me of the movie Cujo
14:40
Mom wasn't playing around. 🤣
Love this movie! And the second movie is even crazier.
Gizmo so cute so destructive 😂😂😂
This is such a great movie. It's cute, funny and unique.
Thanks for the video, Alex! ✊️😎
I watched this movie as a kid and it is still my favorite christmas movie. PLEASE please please watch the second one as soon as you can. SPOILER ALERT: there are even more Gremlins in that one
2:25
Yes! Singing. I love the melody and listen to it sometimes. It's angelic and soothing. ☺
What a fun movie I think I know why I keep watching this channel since you yourself are just witty and genuine all the time
I loved this reaction and movie so much!! Thanks Alex!
I’m so excited for the third on that’s eventually happening
I love the fact that you love this movie and loved the crazy moments, but the sequel is my favorite movie of all time because of the same reason, so I’m so excited to see your reaction to it
please watch the 2nd one this xmas its as fun as the 1st imo lol. Gizmo gets kinda badass. love the reactions always (S tier!)
I can't wait to see your reaction to the sequel😂😂
Howie Mandel is the voice of Gizmo. I'm surprised you didn't notice Corey Feldman. One of his early roles.
i didn’t believe u at first until i saw on imdb!
Puggapillar didn't recognize a 20something Johnny Depp in Nightmare On Elm Street, there's no way he's recognizing Corey Feldman as a child! 😂
Please watch the sequel!! OMG! Pugga, you wouldn't remotely be prepared. 🤣🤣🤣 I've watched it more than the original. Camp for days.
I haven’t watched this movie for like 10 years and I just suddenly started humming the song while playing a game with my friend and he found it hilarious that I could remember the song but nothing really else about the movie
This movie was a summer release, but with it happening at Christmas many people started watching it at Christmas.
25:18
Gizmo crawling lives rent free in my head. 💓
So, there you go. A movie set during Christmas, but could also fit Halloween, and was released in June.
Haha yes! Always loved this growing up.
Gremlins is one of my favorite movies!! it came out 4 months before i was born
I've seen those fuggler dolls before a long time time ago when I saw them I was like "WTF is this a joke" 😂
I do hope that you have a good Christmas.
12:58
I love saying Yum Yum like that. I do that when I make fun of my rabbit because she snatches food out of my hand like a little monster. 🤣
I would very much love for you to react to the sequel to this. I grew up with this movie and I wanted my own Mogwai for so long. Highly enjoyed this reaction.
14:41
I love the close up of the screaming gremlin. 🤣!! It knew it was over.
I used to be so scared of the gremlins when I was a wee lad. I was way more terrified when they showed up at my local Peter Pipers as a prize, the fucking things.
YES!! The post-Christmas 🎄🎁depression is So real.....😭😭
I always watch the 2nd one during christmas haha, love that one more than the first. The 2nd one is insane.
Gremlins 2 is my favorite. Please please please watch the follow-up. It’s so much more insane.
27:52
I always thought that dog would've licked that disgusting pool of bubbling slime. 😂
I love the gremlins one of my favorite movies of all time
"Now I have another reason to hate Christmas."
"What are you talking about?"
"The worst thing that ever happened to me was on Christmas. Oh, God. It was so horrible. [✂] And that's how I found out there was no Santa Claus."
Sweet Christ! 😳
Merry Christmas! ✝️ 🙏 🎄 🎁

Please react to the Gremlins sequel, it's so much fun.
Wow 7:24 I’m 41 so I literally grew up with this movie and I never realized until your reaction that Gizmo “says” “I know…😊” Good catch there.
oh oh! Did you notice they used the same central square in this town that they did in Hill Valley in Back to the Future?
Is it just me or did he just hiss at that gremlin like an angry cat as it came outta the fountain? 😂
Shirt? 10 out of 10. The Christmas story about her dad is DARK and brilliantly funny.
Yessss 👌
Wait till he finds out Howie Mendell voices Gizmo 😂
9:15 the shade 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can't wait to see what you make of Gremlins 2. Also keep an eye out for that Cop, you'll be seeing him again.

Please watch the sequel !!! So happy you watched this best Xmas movie and sequel please watch 🎉
11:27
This is you!! Baby version you. 🤣

Fun fact: One of the cops is Mike from Breaking Bad😊
The sequel isn't christmas themed at all so you could watch it any time, but it is wild
lmaooo not the fuggler 😂😂😂 we have one of those & our youngest cat is obsessed with it. he carries it around and everything, it's adorable. it was especially cute when he was a baby and he couldn't get a proper hold on it because it was bigger than him
The sequel is pretty great, too! I think it's kind of a Presidents Day movie, an American holiday in February. But really, you can watch it anytime.
if you thought THIS was quirky, you're in for a treat for the second one
18:10
The lyrics are yeah yeah yeah. 🤣
I just thought of something.. 26:00
Gizmo living his dream of being a race car driver. 🤣
Your reactions are genuinely my favorite
Keep up the good work
Watch Christmas Vacation!! And The santa clause (has tim Allen in it)
The main Grandlin is the One of the good characters just wants to be taken care not being abused, or treated like a you know what
Even the gremlins is rated PG you can’t just censor it we don’t see human gruesome kills gremlins, gruesome kills is better
9:58
🤣🤣 This was so sarcastic. 🤣🤣
"Where do you put the tv after you finish chopping the food"..oh you sweet summer child 😂 You leave it there.. cause its the kitchen TV 🤷♂️ hey man, moms did that all the time back then to "watch their stories" (daytime soap operas). 28:33
Pugg learned something.. 🤣
I looked up the different types of Fugglers and they're kind of a vibe. 🤭
30:19
Watch it! Like watch it now. 😂
It's right up your alley. You'll laugh a ton and have a great time. It's got so many gags. Better effects and a variety of gremlins. That's all I'll say.
0:53

27:36
I'm waiting for that jump scare to get you. 🤣

this is my favorite childhood movie
I used to watch this movie and it was funny
29:53
Since Gremlins are aliens Baby Yoda might be a distant cousin. ☺
