Beautiful pieces and they look great on you! One tip I learned when I was maybe a teenager, is when I see a garment I like, to crumple a handful of the fabric for a second, let it go, and see whether or how much it wrinkles…. Priceless….

I love Aritzia💕 I have so many pieces from them. A lot of my work clothes are actually from there . I also love their socks 😅 I wear them to the gym . The Wilfred collection is one of my favorites. I like all your purchases!

Have you tried the Effortless pants from Aritizia? They come in many colors and fabric now. Very flattering on.

Was going to suggest the same. The “Effortless” pants from Aritzia/Wilfred are great. If you are looking for flowy pants, get them in the Crepette fabric. Have them in navy also and they fit and look amazing!

I was surprised the cardigan fit me in such a small size XXS. I normally wear between XS and S. I think maybe if you have a larger bust, it will feel true to size. I’m small chested. All the other items felt true to size!

Uniqlo has great flowy trousers online in their C line (designed by Claire waight Keller ) in black, beige and dark grey. I ordered all 3 bc they're on sale right now and they offer free alterations. I'm 5'3" and 28.5 hem was perfect for me to wear with flats, sneakers and kitten heels.

I find shopping for clothes so hard the last few years. I find quality in the brands I use to shop has gone down and the fit/style doesn’t work. Very interested to see what you get.
I agree! For the past few years, I’ve been noticing the quality decline and how the fit is more trendy. It’s like a needle in a haystack to find something that works!
Great video! This video couldn’t have come at a more perfect time! I just ordered a few items esp spring time clothing for work and going out. Crossing my fingers and toes the pants I ordered work for me bc I never find any pants that I like. The last time I purchased pants for work and going out had to be at least 5 years! I like the majority of my clothes to be timeless and work for all 4 seasons with a sprinkle of something trendy here and there.
Sooo true, I live in suburbs of another big city and so many places closed up. Quality so bad for stores that used to sell good clothes. Depressing look comparing to Europe.

I’ve been dying to know where you buy your clothes from because I think they’re amazing and they go really well with each other. I would love to see more videos like this. Also, I buy most of my clothes from Banana Republic since I know my size and I know what fits, but I’ve gained weight since Covid and I need to, change my pants because they don’t fit anymore. I can’t close them, but I’m not willing to do that just yet I’m trying to lose weight. Hopefully I will be able to lose weight and not have to change my pants or my clothes cause I really like them, I would really love if you could share more clothes with the built-in bra cups because I’m really starting to hate having to wear a bra because it just hurts all the time. I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! Banana Republic was my go-to for work clothes for many years! I may revisit them soon. It has been a while. As for built in bra tops, yes yes yes - all about comfort! I will share more as I find them.
Tbh if you want high quality linen pants, Jcrew got some really good ones that are much cheaper than Aritzia's and they're 100% linen (vs 34%), plus they come in different lengths. I find Aritzia's pants tend to have short inseams, I'm not even tall, just a hair under 5'3 and most of their pants in the regular/tall length hit me at the ankles.
Interesting! I find these Aritzia linen pants to be generous in length. I’m 5’6” and I can wear them with heels even. 🤔 As for Jcrew, I’m a fan of them generally but I don’t particularly love full linen clothing bc of how easily it wrinkles. I love that these Aritzia pants have a blend that make them soft and stretchy and less prone to wrinkles but with the same breezy linen look! 😉

Since you've retired, will you be significantly adjusting your luxury handbag spending to account for the change in household income?
It’s a great question! We were saving quite aggressively before so now that I’ve retired from corporate life, we are saving less aggressively. I will still shop but honestly I started slowing down my luxury shopping about 2 years ago as I’ve worked to move towards enjoying what I have and being balanced. I intend to stay on this trajectory. The irony is, I just bought a new bag in Milan! Not sure if you saw that video. It’s the first luxury bag I’ve bought in a year! But I’ll be getting rid of one bag to keep my collection tight. One in, one out. You’ll see soon! Hope that answers your question!
