This is probably as close to R and B as she ever got. Add earthy sensuality and desire to the list of emotions she could express with her voice. She was a true artist with a lot of theatrical flair. It's very unfair that her gifts were largely unrecognized during her lifetime.
God,, this song was with me since 78: I was 15 when I heard for first time in a disco, since then never I let go, thanks so much for posting this song I wander if the singer still is alive,
@ Wilbert Amesquita PAredes: I fell in love with her and her song "More, More, More" in 76. Sadly, she passed in 2011. The Rialto Report did a two part series on her if you can find it. Miss her and her voice. 👍🏾
@@RavnerRavner I've seen it .. maybe not alone, but I've seen Bruce alongside Eric Carr, Gene and Paul .. That said, there's no bigger Ace fan than myself
Whoa! I don't think you can get anymore DIsco than this. It's a shame that Andrea True didn't become more of a better known star, unfortunately, she was associated solely with DISCO and she had a difficult time attempting to break into mainstream music and movies. She truly had a great voice and she had charisma. RIP Andrea True 1943-2011.
@mic187x2 She had been a singer before doing porn. That said, More, More, More was a huge hit and other songs charted. She was certainly more than a Disco artist, but she got pigeonholed into that genre. Not many Disco artists survived the era, as artists. Shame, but the backlash against Disco, a perfectly acceptable form of music, was huge. Sadly the crap we have on the "pop" charts now is unlistenable.
~ R.I.P. Andrea True!! This is still fresh 1977 to 2018! Music lives on and the 1970s will never go out of style ~ See Who's That Girl by Madonna 1987, & That Lady Isley Brothers, 1973. Cheers, DAVEDJ ~
RIP Growing up gay was hard, but your songs helped a lot.Certainly unique and stylish. She must have been the ultimate chic to go outwith after dark exploring the DISCO scene of this GOLDEN YEARS.

Interesting clip. Of course no colour in Italy till 1978? Is that right? Interesting that Andrea True had quite a career, more than a one hit wonder; something that thanks to UA-cam I've learnt.
Nunca la había escuchado, pero muy representativa de aquellos tiempos entre nuestra estancia en Iztapalapa y poco después en Cuajimalpa, casi terminando 1977.
Beginning to learn more about her beyond "More More More". She has a fascinating compelling look on this performance. I think her make-up is making her look like a silent film 'vamp' movie actress from the 1910s. The song is nowhere near as memorable as neither the song "More More More" or any of the others songs on the More More More album.
RIP, I would like to give a shout out to Jerry Case, Johnathon Young, Patricia from the 5th Street Ministry and the South Beach crew I'm still cooking peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches for everyone
One of my favorite tunes. Shout out to Brooklyn New York City biggie we did it. Fat Boys will be the Rock-n-roll Hall of fame 2020. FREE LOVELY BEE IN 2019.
She would have become a bigger star at the time if it wasn’t for her ‘corn star’ career. People loved her until they found out about that part of her life. Too bad. She was better than most disco performers, and she had the looks and the personality.
Although talent wise she was decent but the irony is that because of good people around her and a winning look she is vastly superior to the garbage that exists today. In her time she was an above average performer because of her authenticity.
What a Lady...! Rest in Power dearest Andrea! ❤️
A very beautiful underated singer r.i.p. Andrea

And she didn't sing this song nearly as breathily as she did "More, More, More." Her voice really comes through in this one.
Was this after her "More More More" hit?
@@sl4983 It came out in 1977 (a year later than More More More).
Her best R&B hit was "Party Line" - funky, jazzy, soulful, really danceable.
@@SouLoveReal That's also on the greatest hits collection and I agree that it's very good.
Terrific style and aesthetics as only the Italians can do, but I have to say there's always been something vaguely terrifying about Andrea True. 😱😂

This has surprisingly good audio quality. Crisp as hell
Must be the wall of Bose 901s behind her.
Thats what they call remastering, making it terrible bright. Some novice.
ricordi indimenticabili......... questa si che era musica
She truly was a GORGEOUS and talented beauty.
It's like she's entertaining the crew of Star trek on the bridge during an alert!

First time hearing this, after 47 years.... not bad.
