Bought the single because I loved the single. Andrea's backstory had no influence. Just a great slice of disco from those golden years. Thanks for the backstory though!
Good to hear histories behind the songs. I like it so much. I have de vynil os "What's Your Name What's Your Number' and, yes, sometimes she sang really badly, but some of her tracks works very well, I love them all. I made a edit of ATC's 'Call Me', one of my other favourites tracks. O knew Grace Jones had the same problem, but Grace have more good music on repertoire.
The sweltering hot summer of '76 in the UK was not complete without this song. In the disco, on the fairgrounds on the beach.. as a 4 year old I didn't know the lyrics other than 'more more more' but I knew it was raunchy! Wasn't until years later I heard it on a compilation in the 90s, all the memories of that hot summer came back. Strangely enough our family were in Jamaica in 1975 for the summer, around the time it was recorded! Thanks for a great story @tunesman100 regards.
I love this song !
Regardless of Andrea True's previous career, More More More captures the mid 1970s perfectly. It's one of my favorite songs. R I P Andrea we love you.
This great hit embodies the Bicentennial summer of '76 like no other. A "True" gem! 💎💎💎💎
Thank you. I was really wondering about the back story and how she pulled this song off.👍
