I live in Texas and I am a retired police officer and paramedic. The narrator is counting registered gun owner but us police officer do not have to register our firearms and having to deal with cartels we have a lot of experience with hostile forces.

Also never forget- each state has varying numbers of National Guard & Air National Guard troops, with the same weaponry as the normal military. That's at least several hundred thousand more!

Something I've never heard brought up regarding gun ownership in America. The country is 250 years old. If I have 10 or 15 guns that are legally registered and I die, then leave those guns to my son, It's very unlikely that my son would bother updating the registration. If you extrapolate this over that 250 years there are a tremendous amount of legally unregistered guns in the US. There is no real way to even come close to estimating how many guns there are here.

Because of the variety of climates or whatever we have in the USA we are able to train for pretty much any type of terrain and weather conditions. I was in the Marine Corps and spent a lot of time in California training in desert enviornments. But was stationed in North Carolina so spent most of our time training for a completely different enviornment.

That amphibious attack on the wrst coast has limited places they can land a force to mount an invasion from because those cliffs and mountains because they come down to almost the water's edge.
If a NATO state broke away and joined the axis forces, the rest of NATO would be forced to train their sights on that country. If that country happens to be Canada, we already outnumber them need I say more?
If that attack comes from Mexico, with our bades from California to Florida, if you consider crossing the Gulf of Mexico, the attack will still be rapelled no problem. The idea of invading the US is so futile that the last time anyone tried it I think it was England in 1812.
With people trying to flee an invasion, an invading force would get caught up in California traffic, and they wouldn't know where to go.
Admiral Yamamoto of Pearl Harbor infamy once said ". . . . theres a gun behind every blade of grass. . . ."
There were no secret rockets put in New York City. The only one that gets that kind of protection is Wadhington D.C. and the whitehouse.
The people that would destroy America will be Americans. Not China, not Russia, we will destroy ourselves if it were to happen. Would Russia or China try to take advantage of that? Absolutely.

Early in the video you're questioning or remarks regarding China. Do the numbers even though they could be seen by America. A long way off coming. They have so many ships and people that they should be able to make some sort of progress progress in attacking America. That is an impossibility number one. Because if you do some follow-up checking, you'll discover that. China does not have a navy that would be considered a threat. They have so few ships and only one aircraft Carrier, which according to rumors doesn't really do what it's supposed to and has all sorts of technical problems. They don't have transport size ships. Their navy was built to protect their shorelines and a defensive manner. They do not have any offensive navy ships. There is the small exception of them having some submarines but again, they do not travel the oceans of the Earth like America's does.
So no, China would not be a threat to the coastlines of America. There are.
Some good videos out there. Explaining this particular process that I just described. Russia would be more of an issue to America. Than China but again, this whole video basically is laying out. The fact that there is not a single country including the UK who is our friand has any worldwide effect on the seas of the Earth. But all of this is basically moot because of technology today. Any country that decided to do so would be recognized within a very short period of time, and they would never reach the coast even if you're assumption about China, having such large numbers was true. You can't cross 4000 miles of ocean without being wiped out by a technology-based country like America. Whether you?
Send an armada of a 100 ships or a 1000 ships. They would be picked off before they got halfway to America.

In Washington State, we have 1 of 3 bases in the country that houses the Elite Rangers, thus the infamous BBQ shootout about 5 miles from where I live.😆 We have I-5 along the west coast, a port for battleships, 2 high mountain ranges (the Cascades and the Olympics), with Mt. Rainier being the 3rd highest mountain in the U.S., and McChord Air Force (Joint Base Lewis McChord). Washington boasts 60,603 military personnel. Whenever there is a conflict, I routinely hear gunfire from the bas and see military planes and chinooks flying over our skies. Washington is kind of like a dare to foreign invaders.

Washington has about 1,120 nuclear warheads for the nuclear submarines based at Naval Base Kitsap. It is considered to house the single largest concentration of nuclear warheads in the world. The only other place you can find more nukes are the remaining U.S. nukes and Russia.

We literally had a firing range in my back yard growing up, with my father doing much of his own reloading. We owned a variety of pistols, shotguns, assault rifles, knives, bows, etc. and I don't say this as a way to brag or seem tough, it's just what I've always known and we weren't remotely prepper/militant sort of people, but firearms (and their proper use/safety) was ingrained in me and everyone I knew in my hometown.

As far as NATO goes, Article Five of the treaty states that if an armed attack occurs against one of the member states, it should be considered an attack against all members, and other members shall assist the attacked member, with armed forces if necessary. Also, a country can either 1) break the treaty and leave NATO (article 13) or 2) expel the offending country from NATO if it is a material breach.

First off, Alaska has multiple military bases. And you did make a simple one sentence remark regarding getting to Alaska through Canada. Well, the only people that can do that are Americans. Because to get to Alaska through Canada, you would have to be coming from America's northern border and I don't think america would be allowing another country to assemble a military in america in order to go North to attack Alaska. And it is sparsely populated as you mentioned. But along with the obvious weather issue because of Canada being so far North. You also have to realize that in the history of Alaska, there have been so few areas that have any kind of population because, Uber the course of 200 years it's taken us to get that far, so I don't believe there's anybody that's going to be able to overcome the natural. Combination of weather and huge mountains and no cities based along the coastline.

Many people have shotguns for home defense and I believe that most states don't require a license or registration for shotguns. I have a fairly big extended family and everyone of them own guns and no how to use them. Growing up, my dad had a federal gun dealer license so we always had a lot of guns in the house. Guns were just part of our daily lives so we were taught how to use them and to respect the seriousness of using them.

In World War II, despite the U.S./U.K.-Commonwealth having, by far, the greatest industrial output and naval forces many times larger than all the rest of the world combined, invasions like Normandy, Okinawa, etc., were still massively difficult, and with Normandy, that was the short distance from the bases in the U.K., and in the Pacific, we started with bases in Australia, and "island hopped", being able to constantly set up bases near the next target.
The idea of someone invading the U.S., across the entire Atlantic or Pacific, is beyond difficult, and that's if you have a navy with all the proper ships needed. Then, invading a nation of 340 million people, with the most powerful military in the world, backed up by nearly 100 million armed civilians... It's not really even remotely likely to happen, because there's zero percent chance of success. It would be a truly suicidal operation.
In today's modern world it's far more efficient and vastly less costly to try to bring down your enemy from within, stoking discontent and rebellion, unless they are vastly smaller than you- and even then, you may defeat them, but if they want to make things difficult for you, it can be a Pyrrhic victory.

Various climates can pose a great challenge, but from what I know, there aren't many real-world combat scenarios that have occurred to know the complex struggle it'd be getting past a desert, then past snowy mountains. But it depends greatly on what time of year it is. That being given, has anyone wondered how enemy and foe would prepare for war and evolve throughout a battle in tornado alley when it's May, with all of the crazy hail and frequent lightning?

As far as Alaska goes, #1. there is a pair of Islands, (the Diomede Islands) separated by just 2 miles, one belongs to Alaska, one belongs to Russia, and in the winter months, after the bering sea has frozen, one can walk between the two islands, this knowledge IS NOT lost on the U.S. Military, that in the winter months, an ICE BRIDGE FORMES EVERY SINGLE YEAR, this is also not lost on the Russians either, BOTH countries have military bases not far from this area, as far as MAIN landmass distance between Russia and Alaska, it is about 56 miles, #2. Aside from the military presence, there are other factors that make invading through Alaska a really dumb idea, and that is the wildlife, there are plenty of extremely dangerous animals in Alaska, starting with ALL 3 species of the largest and most deadly bears on the planet, the polar bear, the kodiak bear, and the grizzly bear, an invading force would have to deal with those along with LOTS of moose who contrary to popular belief, are not cute and cuddly, they are 2,000 pounds of unpredictable and dangerous, and during some months, have massive horns that can do, and in fact DO plenty of damage to human flesh, #3. then there is the environment, the environment alone can and does kill people, #4. finally the climate, with very harsh cold temperatures during about HALF of the year, exposure also kills plenty of people every year, now imagine having even the slightest injury in such a place, even something as insignificant as a sprained ankle, in a place like Alaska, can be the cause of a persons demise. Alaska is a REALLY bad idea to try to invade.

Any country invading Alaska would have to supply the troops they put there. I think it would be easy for US forces to interdict the re-supply effort, as it would need be done by sea or by air. Plus, we have had military bases in Alaska since WW2. We kicked the Japanese out of the Aleutians in 1943, while we were fighting the Japanese in the South Pacific, and the Axis powers in the Mediterranean, and the bomber offensive into Germany at the same time.

I am not a "gun guy". I will go to a shooting range maybe 4 times in an entire year. I also have several ARs, a half dozen other rifles and shotguns, and 3 handguns, way more ammunition than I need for each, as well as two sets of plate carriers and level 3+ plates front and back. That's what your average "casual enthusiast" gun owner looks like in the US. That's why conventional invasions will never, ever work, there are millions of Americans just like me, owning what other countries would call an arsenal and calling it "casual enthusiasm".
Like my father and his father, and all their fathers before, defending our liberties with passive firearm ownership.

We have over 7 Trillion round of Ammunition, about half the guns in the entire country are in Texas (civilian owned btw), multiple US Military bases, The Texas Military bases as well. Then you have to deal with the terrain and the heat as well.
@5:53 Alaska is heavily guarded and occupied by the Military we have a good portion of our Military there bc it is so close to Russia/China etc plus good luck traversing the mountain ranges and the arctic cold there. @16:05 yeah 3 UK's will fit into Texas lol

If a NATO country were to abrogate it's treaty obligations and not come to the aid of a fellow NATO member, it would be smart of them to just flat out join the other side because it would be thrown out of NATO and never be trusted again. If it were Canada, our northern border would be fortified and strict controls on vehicle and air traffic would be put in place.
Our government very well knows where the most likely landing places are on the west coast. A sandy flat beach is not the only requirement. There has to be roads leading inland to handle military traffic that would include armored vehicles. We know where those beaches are. We also know where the mountain passes are that an army would need to reach our interior. Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto was reportedly to have said: "Invading the U.S. mainland is impossible. There is a rifle behind every blade of grass.". Well, our population has nearly doubled and our gun ownership has outpaced our population growth.

Even if canada were an enemy there are only 2 entry zones by land and theyre highway sized, so not hard to blockade. Otherwise youd still have to go thru or over water to get into michigan. • @bradjenkins1475
    @bradjenkins1475 4 дні тому

Yes, of course. They would be a certain number of unregistered guns. Or weapons, and in this case we're talking about California. But the number would be small and that is because part of buying a gun in America, which is a fairly easy thing to do is that at the time of purchase, it is required to be registered. And that fact all fact also adds that it is the retailer selling the weapon that has to fill out all that paperwork and file it. So in reality, 99% of the weapons in California are registered. Just simply based on that 1 fact alone. It does not allow for people to purchase guns and then rely on the fact that they'll register them because they're supposed to. And as far as California being such a huge state and being the.
At least percentage-wise lowest gun ownership in America. The reason for that is political and by that I mean that California is the most overwhelmingly Democrat state in the Union. And it is the Democratic Party that has an issue with the amount of guns and whose hands those guns are in across the country. The second amendment is extremely large in the states that have high Republican citizens. They have taken our second amendment and gone way past. What the intention was because when it was written in the 1700s. There was no way that our founding fathers could have anticipated technology and the growth in the type of dangerous weapons. Because all they were dealing with back then were single shot. Single loading muskets. So essentially the Southern states with their high republicitizens. They have taken advantage of our message Avar, second amendment and thus allowing the types of weapons like automatic guns to be so.
Well interned into those states and into the citizen's minds of those states.

You need to look at the US on satellite, Alaska is not that far and we could go through Canada but it's closer to go around from Washington. I don't think Canada would turn on the us, sorry but look at it's leader. Sorry Canada but we do love you. I think the odds of another country landing on our borders with vehicles and relying on our roads to get them somewhere are pretty futile.
