I really hope Redacted does a storyline where Angel is put in very real danger and maybe aquires some sort of injury. Listening to David Shaw go half mad with fear for his beloved mate, tearing around Dahlia trying to find them with the help of Ash, Milo, Sam and maybe Vincent (after all he relates to the sheer terror of having someone you love go missing). The aggression towards the culprits and the pivot to gentle, soft tenderness as he comforts Angel would just be spectacular.
I just wanna hear a crazy protective alpha rescue his Angel ok??
honestly I love how they added the slasher sounds along with the blood to make it feel as if we were watching a movie w/ them. It was a nice touch.

Every story needs just the right amount of buildup for proper immersion to take place. Personally, I prefer a slow build because it leaves a mark on me. I am able to remember the details that were carefully, strategically implemented to make me forget I’m watching a movie, reading a book, listening to an audio, however I decide to consume a story. The way a scenario can play out in many ways, the sounds created to grab you, suck you into the world unfolding in front of your eyes, your imagination, is always an experience to remember.
Laughing at my expense and scaring me? Really, David? Well, good to know you’re made of tough stuff because I might squeeze tighter than necessary. Just remember, it’s your fault my heart is pounding the way it is. Every time you yawn, I can’t resist wanting to poke your cheek. I do enjoy watching scary movies with you, any movie really, whether I’m spooked or not. I agree, though, many people are quick to judge a character, but not many people put themselves in the shoes of the character. Hmm, I enjoy your sweet humming. My heart feels more at ease now, thank you.
I love the nostalgia of old films and how the possible future was depicted. I feel the imagination in producing these props, devices and such, wasn’t as expansive as now, but that was its charm at the time. It might seem a little strange to describe but it felt like something more accessible, which makes sense seeing as this is what they had to work with. Now, it feels like endless possibilities because of the advancement of technology. Still, I can understand its charm and the nostalgia behind it all. It feels oddly, cozy, which might sound weird, but I digress. Now, I feel like binge watching old movies, which I haven’t done in way too long. Thank you so much, Erik, for everything.

I just watched the movie for the first time actually, like, 10 minutes ago, and it was actually really cool! It wasn't scary at all, barely startling, but it was still really fun to watch. The fact that Angel gets scared by it is so funny to me as well. Like, that is a grown ass person getting scared so easily it's hilarious.
Edit: also yes, the thing jumping on his face IS the most exciting thing that happens in the movie, other than the bit in the dining room where Young Hot John Hurt dies a horrible gruesome death and the xenomorph bursts out of his corpse.
