In big city's in Sweden I think (anyway like me) many people think that someone who takes contact with you at the street just want to sell something or ask something for an boring survey or something.. If you're a woman and a male stranger comes up to you they instantly have a small back thought that you are hitting on her. And that's seldom a good way to get swedish girls. The priviet, kak Dela girl is russian not swedish. And girl, as a New Yorker I'd be pretty used to that behavior because here it's the same. I had a teacher from Mississippi once and she felt mad offended when no one responded to her hellos lol.
Usually get new friends thru your friends. Mostly at a party. Then as the girl in the video said, atend to a class🤷 In school, at work etc. When i was in grenada it was pretty weird to get friends so fast, ecpesially saying hello to everyone walking pass 😆
lmfao, talking to random people is so true. Honestly here's the trick. Just find a person or a group of people that are standing around, you can talk to them easier. Swedes that are walking and saying 'hi' usually ends up in getting ignored
@@aneshalove226 go for it hahaha I was in Gothernburg with a friend and we were trying to find someone to take a picture of us, everyone that was walking by just ignored me haha

That’s strange to me. In the United States specially when you’re exercising or jogging someone pass you by you say good morning and smile and they say good morning and I smile back that’s how it is. If someone say hello to me I’ll say hello back I might not wanna talk to them but I still say hello. I that’s pretty much how it is in the United States. It’s very easy to make friends in the United States I mean after a while you can choose and pick which one you want to be friends or acquaintance.

Alot of black people here are new to the country and have lower paying jobs but the longer they're here the more they move up. You won't see black people at the very top because they haven't been here long enough and it's mainly swedes here. The entrepreneurs here usually have small businesses
I think Swedes are quite shy. Especially if they have a camera. I would probably shy away myself. I dont like to be filmed and asked random questions. But Swedes are very friendly and helpful on a one to one conbersation.
Swedes are all about staying neutral don't be special, be pc and keep up appearances. Collègues and bosses will appear friendly , but it's business attitude. Uniformity is important , it's better to be shy and silent then be a trouble maker.

The priviet, kak Dela girl is russian not swedish. And girl, as a New Yorker I'd be pretty used to that behavior because here it's the same. You don't just say hi to random strangers but in some parts of the US and the world that's like the norm. I had a teacher from Mississippi once and she felt mad offended when no one responded to her hellos lol.
Lol
Usually get new friends thru your friends. Mostly at a party. Then as the girl in the video said, atend to a class🤷 In school, at work etc. When i was in grenada it was pretty weird to get friends so fast, ecpesially saying hello to everyone walking pass 😆
lmfao, talking to random people is so true. Honestly here's the trick. Just find a person or a group of people that are standing around, you can talk to them easier. Swedes that are walking and saying 'hi' usually ends up in getting ignored
Lol I'll try this next time
@@aneshalove226 go for it hahaha I was in Gothernburg with a friend and we were trying to find someone to take a picture of us, everyone that was walking by just ignored me haha
If you just say Hi or How are you doing we will think you are strange. But If you Ask a real Question like : can you help me with.. or Where is the... I guess we answer and After that maybe a real cenversation. My spelling is my phones fault, all the way 😜
Haha I'll try this next time :)
Hahahhaa i laughd so hard at first you being ignored
😭 evil
The girl at the start has the loveliest laugh
Ha ya she was cute
That’s strange to me. In the United States specially when you’re exercising or jogging someone pass you by you say good morning and smile and they say good morning and I smile back that’s how it is. If someone say hello to me I’ll say hello back I might not wanna talk to them but I still say hello. I that’s pretty much how it is in the United States. It’s very easy to make friends in the United States I mean after a while you can choose and pick which one you want to be friends or acquaintance.
Awesome !!!! Welcome to Stockholm
Tack ❣
Anesha love sis quick question sorry o digress, but what about melanin owned enterprises and businesses there?? as in are people of colour are they financially independent economically /inclusive if it's a level playing field via entrepreneurship opportunies, grants, loans and the likes ? or are all or most folk under paid employment ?? please talk about ''ownership'' be it property, business, entertainment etc are brothers and sister winning or is the environment conducive for such??
Alot of black people here are new to the country and have lower paying jobs but the longer they're here the more they move up. You won't see black people at the very top because they haven't been here long enough and it's mainly swedes here.
The entrepreneurs here usually have small businesses
I LOVE this video 😂💗
Hello ANESHA
As an African living and working in Dubai, how can i move to Sweden as a qualified worker ???
thanks in advance foor your responses
I think Swedes are quite shy.
Especially if they have a camera. I would probably shy away myself. I dont like to be filmed and asked random questions.
But Swedes are very friendly and helpful on a one to one conbersation.
Swedes are all about staying neutral don't be special, be pc and keep up appearances.
Collègues and bosses will appear friendly , but it's business attitude.
Uniformity is important , it's better to be shy and silent then be a trouble maker.
It's about like America but smarter people and less drunks and drug addicts .
Lol that's such an insult to sweden
Love Jamaica from the Philippines!
😘😘
We are not shy, we just dont say so much and are loud when we are drunk 🤣
🤣🤣
LOVE IT!👏😂
Thank you 😊😊
Often wondered if being British may be an advantage, as we're known for being somewhat reserved too.
Ha so you blend in
Suh.... Di man and him catty a walk... Yuh reeeeaaalllyyy expect a response😂😂😂😂
Lol mi ambitious mumma😅
Great Video! Shoping is fun! :)
Good content ❤
Wait you can go to Sweden and no masks in 2021?
Lol yesss
Duh! We handled The pandemic The worst in europe. But The social distance thing is already normal here. So that wasnt really a biggie.
Hint from Estonians:
"chit-chat" → "tühi-tähi"
"smalltalk" → "tühi jutt" → "empty talk"
"tühi jutt" is form of "lora": basically a derogatory expression for "smalltalk"
"small talk" is "empty", thus meaningless and it can easily be perceived as waste-of-time
Get to know a Swede and they'll love you forever.
You gotta start meeting them in kindergarten. You will make 2 friends and they will be your only friends till you die.
Love they change like a ikea furniture.
Med hälsningar, din taxiförare.
I'm Swedish but I'm not like this neither is my family, oh God
😅
The guy at 2:15 cracks me up.
Lol
You are courageous baby girl
@@liftconnect710 🥰 thank you
You are acting like a sales person. This is why people walk actively high speed ignoring you. We hate those street sales people.
I'll know better for next time
Hahaaaaa you really have the guts hun but good work
The guts that you see is pretend 😅
Jag gillar den😍
Tack ❣

Haffi guh chop dung yuh Shame tree when yuh live a dem place yah 😂😂😂
Dem tek it from mi sah 🤣
To be honest you spoke english, and that makes a difference. Either you are a tourist or an immigrant to lazy to learn swedish. Had you started the english with excuse me i think more would have thought of you as a tourist and helped. Still you get more attention in english than in swedish. We may be shy but we are helpful people, and we generally dont think swedish people need help.
Anesha you Rock
Aww thank you
How can you help me to enter Sweden
Keep it up👍👏
🥰🥰

Im from sweden and im not shy.
Ha hey
@@aneshalove226 hi hi
Talk a walk and shopping is fun.... sheesh mean Sweden is very bored 😐
Lol I swear
@@aneshalove226 lol 😂 sorry girl
In my opinion, ppl in small city are more friendly. There's some neighbours (we don't know them) waiting to wave us when driving through his house. Lovely ! I'm living in Sweden as well.
Subbed! 😊
I'll make sure to visit smaller cities lol
Thank you ❣
what's the best to do in Sweden would keep silent everyday
15 is pretty good and the girl at 2:22 seemed rathe jovial
The method you are using has nothing to do with Swedish people being unsuccessful.
I think waving to strangers ans saying hi to them wouldn't work in almost every country!
I'll do better next time 😊
@@aneshalove226 I have to add I don't mean its a good thing that people don't say hi back or you are not doing a good thing. Quite opposite, what you do is a nice thing but nowadays people aren't friendly in pretty much every where
Unfortunately that's a fact
@@emaderaghi well it's a good country and people are how they are
Shopping is fun though 👀🥴
Ask mi wah fun hour Jamaica and yuh si di difference

Immigrants are much easier to talk to. And I say this even as a swede. They might have a Hard approach but are usually really helpful and kind.
They just don’t give a f***

Jumping when people were talking to you. Socialism is an individual thing..
Lol ya I was weird too 😅
@@aneshalove226 lol - well atleast you know. You have to create the environment where they are willing to talk to you. Msaybe approach and ask permission to speak with them on camera first. Don't just go up to them with the camera on them...
@@shaunmc013 I did that most of the times :)
Hi girl I am praying for u
Aww thanks
Why in hell do you want to speak with other people?
They’re very dry and unseasoned
I would shrivel up and die in Sweden 😂. I would be so unhappy in a country surrounded by so many antisocial people.
Ha it helps when you have friends
Nor shy rude!
"Swedish people hate other people" SAY WHAT?! That was-rude.
