- Celiac disease is a serious autoimmune disease. It's genetic, so you, or your loved ones, could be at risk if someone in your family has been diagnosed. The Beyond Celiac urges you to take the conversation offline and talk to your family. Tell them the facts. Urge them to get tested. #TalkTellTest

Not one of my family members tests positive for this. We are all related according to 23 and Me.
Only I test positive. When I got my diagnosis, I told everyone to go get tested. They all thought I was nuts. Now I think I am too.
My mom has celiac. I dont have it, and neither do any of my family members. My sister has an allergy to gluten, but not celiac
Nowadays everybody thinks that they have this disease! It's scary. And also, a lot of persons with alimentary disorders use this an excuse for not eating a bunch of things... And of course most of them have nothing! Yuuuuuuuuush if they really had it they wouldn't be so happy... It gives you terrible diarrhea ):
Reference: me (: #ProudMedStudent
+HimeBaezChan You're an idiot then. I have celiac disease and do not have terrible diarrhea. And why wouldn't they be happy? #ProudBiochemist
You probably shouldn’t be so proud to be a med student when you comment with uneducated opinions. It does far more than just gives you diarrhea. I feel terrible for any patient you run across. I suppose you won’t be humbled until you have caused the death of a patient.
Just because you are a med student doesn't stop you from being ignorant. You ARE the reason why most people don't trust doctors anymore. I feel bad for your patients, if you ever finish Med school (I hope not).
Going to take a wild guess and say an American med student.
