Normally, when you have a cold, they always said to stay away from dairy, milk, cheese, etc., because it contribute to the cold and make it thicker and harder to get rid of🤷🏾♀️
The first thing I learned to cook was fish with food. On weekends my brother and his friends would go fishing and we run boat. That’s what we called it back home.
Therapy is really good. I go and it really helps in more than one ways.

Get well soon girl. I’m going through the same thing. I have not felt anything like this in about 6 yrs , no flue, cold, stuffiness, Covid, headaches nothing in more than 6 yrs. Right now I feel awful, very congested, my throat is itching
My grandma used to make soup 3 times a week. Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays. I love soup 😘
Am a Jamaican I Drink tea around the clock once I feel a sore throat I draw for my Tea am constantly drinking something hot . That’s me every one s different

When you have a cold/stuffiness no diary is recommended. Warm beverages. Soup is always good
Gargle with salt and stay hydrated, take fresh garlic if you can and ofc TEA all day! Ginger, lemon, tumeric, echinacea, mint, honey, etc!!!
Hope you feel better Kim. I have not had,no cold, no flu, no covid in years and 2 weeks ago I got a cold , started with a mild sore throat and stuffy nose and congested and coughing..OMG..Thank God I am healed. Lots of herbal tea, cold pressed ginger and wellness juice shots and cold showers, vegetable soup and oil of oregano drops in water help me tremendously.

Kim I’m you 😂….. Can I tell you how my first meal I attempted to cook was Ackee n Saltfish with Fry dumplings 😂. Well lets just say I missed the step where my Mom and Grandma boiled the Ackee first 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Then girl fry dumplin nice and golden brown all now the inside nuh cook yet 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Look how I almost took me and my little sister 3 points that day 😂😂. Ehhh mi Ackee did well cook up and season to yu nuh 😂😂😂.
