Hi. It's a great educational video. Thank you.
I have been on a ketogenic lifestyle and one-meal-a-day intermittent fasting for weight loss since 6/2022. I lost over 90 pounds and weigh 136 pounds now. What I noticed is that since I started my ketogenic lifestyle, I developed a web of new, large blood vessels in my hands, arms, and legs. Out of concern, I visited a few physicians, including a cardiologist/vascular physician. Basically, they all told me nothing to worry about, and the cardiologist assured me that those are healthy veins. So, I decided to do my own online research and found out that mTOR causes the formation of new blood vessels from the existing blood vessels by a process known as angioneogenesis, and there is also a concern about cancer.
I believe I am healthy, feel great, energetic, and not tired or fatigued. I walk long distances of up 15 miles.
I am wondering if my ketogenic lifestyle is the cause of my angioneogenesis and if it is carcinogenic ?
Again, thank you for a great video, and have a great day. 😊

im comfused as to why one would intentionally inhibit mTor when trying to build lean mass. isnt it the catalyst for mps?

People are taking Mtor inhibitor for mass gaining purposes? I thought that it was the opposite. people take rapamycin as means of applying a brake on the proliferative, inflammation pathways.

There has apparently been at least one study showing that rapamycin doesn't have significant effects on body composition. I believe Peter mentioned it on his podcast. Also, your gains don't matter as much if you're dead. Potential impacts on muscle anabolism should be taken on net.

@@DrDave21, you are correct. Dr. Brad Stanfield has provided evidence for that as well. Rapamycin is rubbish.

Taking an mTOR inhibitor and trying to put on lean mass definitely don't go well together (at least in case of taking it chronically). I can state that with absolute certainty, even if just anecdotal.

It seems very clear he had sex with one woman for years and then when he didn't want to anymore she filed a harassment suit.
It was a dumb choice to have sex with basically a coworker but office romance happens all the time.
