They will dispute and twist the truth. That attitude of disbielever. When truth come and not suitable with them, so they will dispute it and deny it. But truth always highest and noble and pure. No how matter you dispute and twist it, truth always be truth. But however, they still human and have heart, so we should respect them and talk nicely without break their heart. We cannot blame them, if we in their situation and grew up as Christian, of course our mind will protect the religion that we grew up. So i hope they will see the truth. Couple of main points you guys discussed. 1. Jesus saying I and the Father are one, this is figure of speech as in one in purpose and that is line with the context of previous verses. This is typical way of talking in semantic languages and commonly used even in English. Also as per hermeneutics you read less clear verses in light of clearer verses and that particular verse should be read according to John 17:21
So when Jesus says the father is the only true God then according to hermeneutics any claim of divinity is not absolute. 2. Claiming Jesus is God because of miraculous birth literally then Melchizedek divinity is greater as per Hebrews 7:3 so you can't take things literally or figuratively to suit your desire / theology, be consistent. 3. Even if Jesus said I can protect you doesn't mean he is God, again this is a deduction you are making and according to hermeneutics this should be within the context of Jesus saying I on my own self can do nothing and only does with the will and power of the father. 4. You can't have 100% of 2 different things man and God ists a logical contradiction, nevertheless, such statement means the 100% human weakness overpowered his 100% god strength and again that is illogical with all due respect. 5. Many humans claimed divinity throughout history and till this day so your logic for Jesus not claiming it bluntly is invalid. 6. God wrote the Bible through humans is a deduction by you, the writers themselves never claimed or believed what they wrote was divine revelation or inspiration but a recollection of hearsay and that was the case for over 2 centuries and confirmed by biblical scholars... Etc
The guideline for true divinity is in old testament and Jesus doesn't fall within any of those, follow the biblical criteria and not what you think is the criteria.

Let me start my point with the usage of “I am”. What is the meaning? Why did God introduce himself in the Bible as “I am”?
This usage means God is the same God of yesterday, today and always, the God that never sleeps (Psalms), the preserver and protector of every soul who depends on no one or look up to no one for help, who is the creator of everything and cannot be created. Which means a befitting title that suits only God and no one else.
But let’s take this as an example where Jesus said I and my Father are One to mean he is God 😢 and take out every “I” since according to my dear brother it means God and replace it with God. Then the statement would read “ God (I) and my Father are one”. And if Abraham said “I am Abraham and Sarah is my Sister”, this would also be translated as “God is Abraham and Sarah is my Sister” right?
Before we misunderstand the Usage of “I” or “I am” we should first know the meaning and in which context they were used.
The first issue Christians have with Ishmael is that he is a Bond Child, which means according to most as I have heard “Child born out of wedlock”. And the Bible clearly stated that Abraham took Hagar to himself as a Wife and secondly their being together was something God agreed to. Then come the Sacrifice, God ordered Abraham to take his Only Son… this means by then Abraham only had one child who was his only Son. Except we want to claim that Ishmael is not the Biological Son of Abraham. Thirdly the claim that Ishmael was not blessed but cursed. The same Bible said God blessed Ishmael and his entire generation right after Hagar give birth to him at a point when she needed water and God instructed her to do something which caused water to flow. And all these are written in the same Bible.
Lastly, if I am Mr. Sheriff Sr. the CEO of V.O.R.S Entertainment and my son is Mr. Sheriff Jr. does that automatically makes him a CEO of my company? We may have the same name but we are never the same. So if Trinity is to be considered as 3 but 1, what is the functions of each and if there’s no different or separate functions how then can you say 3 but 1? If they have separate functions but one goal then why is the Father Omnipresent, Omnipotent when He has to divide Himself into 3 to be able to function in all dimensions at the same time to achieve His purpose?

Why do Muslims worship Allah? It's because He's God. But what you have to know here is that in Islam, worship doesn't only mean "to pray". Otherwise, every good thing that we do is an act of worship. The word "I am" is Ego Eimi in Greek which references the deity of Jesus. This same language is found In John Chapter 6 and even John chapter 18. The word Ego Eimi. This same word is found in Isaiah 43 when God say "I am he

That same word "I am" Ego Eimi is used in Isaiah as in exodus when Moses ask God who he should say sent him. God answered "I am". Moses then goes to the Jews and said "I am has sent me"
This issue with today, is no one studies and would rather be ignorant, therefore they think they will not be accountable.
