I searched for a Town Car for 2 years and recently got a Grand Marquis that was owned by an elderly couple. (Estate sale) Looks new. Every service record from day one. Haven't made them since Jan 4, 2011. 12+ years. 👍👍
My 2015 Taurus was my favorite car of all time. Pleeeeease bring the Taurus back, but make sure there are not all electric or hybrid - I drive gas-powered vehicles only!
Love the Ford Taurus! Great car! especially the SHO, I have a 2005 Ford Taurus SE, 165, 000 mileage uses no oil, Great on fuel still ride excellent on original shocks and springs, keeping it. Rides superior on the highways, a 2005!
I still have my 2010 Taurus only 92,000 miles. Leather seats and pick up like no other car I ever ever had. Really hard for me to find a newer, affordable car with the same speed and quality. I think I’ll keep her.
I have always been a fan of the Ford Taurus. Infact I have my Moms 200- Taurus Station wagon. Ill be in the market looking for a new car and haven't seen much that i'm liking at this time. But seeing this add, Now im very excited to see this. I love to be the first people who bring this car back.
We had a 1991 Mercury Sable and we loved it and my wife drives a 2011 Ford Taurus with a 100000+ miles and it's still a great car and I have tried to get her to trade up to a new vehicle it's a big NO. So we will have to wait for the new ones to come out and see.
They should bring back an affordable, reliable sedan, people can’t afford big trucks and SUVs anymore. Ford needs to look at what Toyota and Honda is doing they both sell a ton of Accords and Camrys.
Bringing it back to the US would be awesome. I’d buy another one in a second. I don’t want an SUV or a smaller car. Ford has been my choice, but I’m going to have to buy elsewhere.
Greetings from oakville Ontario Canada home of the ford plant opened up in 1953 I'm looking forward to seeing the Taurus returns in whatever format my parents had the station wagon from 1986 until it ended up in the junk yard 😢
Henry Ford would be outraged at the way the company's run today he built the company on making cars that were affordable for working-class Americans these guys have lost your way
I have a 2012 Taurus SEL I keep up with it now rolling over for 3rd time it’s the energizer bunny for real will never get rid of it will run in it in the ground
For years I've never understood how and why Ford is an American auto maker yet they give Europe all of their new and cool looking vehicles yet gives the US the same boring looking vehicles year after year🤦🏾♂️
I think they should call it the Ford Taurus appearance sitting in the video and then for the Crown Victoria they should call it the Ford Victoria as a large crossover size sedan
A step forward my arse, Taurus is only a name,, if the car hasn't got quality which many fords don't it will just add to the list of recalls, I own and Australian made 2007 Ford, still runs pretty good
I own and love my 2008 Taurus SEL. It has just over 90 ,000 miles (150,000 kms.) on the clock and no major repairs. I believe in preventative maintenance. The 3.5 liter engine is peppy enough for me and the trunk is huge as is the interior of the car.
Stop trying to promote electric vehicles. I’m tired of propaganda for failed technology. I wouldn’t take an EV, especially an electric F-150 if you gave it away. That said I once owned a 2006 Ford Taurus. It was a decent internal combustion engine powered car, something that Ford should have never stopped selling. Finally stop building vehicles in Mexico. You get what you pay for in quality when workers there earn $6.80 a day.
If this planet and the human race is to survive we cannot keep putting more carbon dioxide into the air, heating up the planet and intensifying rainstorms and hurricanes which cost billion of dollars to repair the damages they cause so get with the program or this planet will effectively die in the next few hundred years (and become unlivable long before then). And nothing is failed with EV technology unless you are so ignorant about reality. The tech is improving every day and by 2030 there will be EV's that will have more range than any gas car ever had.
If Ford sells it for $40,000 or more, requires multiple trips back to the dealership for warranty problems and requires expensive transmission replacements out of warranty well before the vehicle reaches 100k miles it's no different than 90% of the junk on the market already.
These Auto Industry Gurus are more Goobers. Their vision is myopic at best. Every decision for their loyal customers are only self-serving scams to trim choice in every aspect of an auto purchase. People gravitated to SUV’s because they offer more room for American fat arses, seem safer & are more fun to drive. Auto Industry has amputated variety, features, options & personal choices by grouping options in packages that the Auto Industry creates. Look at the cars of the sixties. There was great diversity, unique combinations of options that today make rare, more valuable classics contrasted against a dull, black & white, boring, inbred industry of lookalikes outrageously priced
ford needs to concentrate on making an engine that last longer than 100k. ive been in the car business 20 years and i constantly see people blowing their ford engines on the escape and the fusion around 100k. Then they need to come to a realistic price. If they think they can sell that taurus for the price of a lexus es350 then they will not sell many.
Bring crown Victoria back

I sure hope they do bring it back to the USA!

I guess the elimination of sedans has not exactly been a good idea.
Or the wagon either. Not everyone wants to drive a truck.
"The Moostang Mack E" ? A I readers gotta get the product names correct!

The one shown is very stylish. Very nice

ford taurus 2016 limited 3.5 v6 i have one and running very well for me my family lots of room in it
I think Ford should bring back the Fairlane...

9:29 9:29 I hope that the SHO trim package is offered. I have a 2010 with almost 189000 and it still runs great.
My parents had the V6 Taurus in 1986 and it served them well for many years.
Waiting for a EV Pinto.
My mom had a 1996-1999 Taurus and my grandpa had a 2003 Taurus. Unfortunately both cars didn’t not make it.
Bring back thuanderbird
For the love of God....ford has make car's again...just think of the revenue they have lost to Honda and toyota inthe car market
Please bring back the Fusion.

The King 👑 returns...

It's look like the next Ford falcon sedan in the future
For years I've never understood how and why Ford is an American auto maker yet they give Europe all of their new and cool looking vehicles yet gives the US the same boring looking vehicles year after year🤦🏾♂️
I always like the Taurus
No mention of this on Ford's website?
I think they should call it the Ford Taurus appearance sitting in the video and then for the Crown Victoria they should call it the Ford Victoria as a large crossover size sedan
Yes
Strategic? No, they just made a retarded decision and now dealers have entire lots of unsold $100k trucks. We poor out here.
I drove my 1992 over 300000 miles. Still have Crown Vic
A step forward my arse, Taurus is only a name,, if the car hasn't got quality which many fords don't it will just add to the list of recalls, I own and Australian made 2007 Ford, still runs pretty good

i miss my SHO 😢
The current Ford Taurus is not one made in the USA, too expensive, and never think about it ,
last gen looks much better plus it offers 3.5 ecoboost
HOLY SHNIKEEZ!

Mustang based Falcon 4 door with Eco Boost and 5.0 drivelines would be better... LHD and RHD...
First they got rid of sedans because “everybody wanted crossovers” now they are doing an about face. Guess they realized they made a mistake 😂
Europe ?
They bring back the biggest bucket of crap but yet ditched the falcon here in Australia
Sounds pretty boring actually.
But I understand that the market is driven by boring people.🙄
RWD is only desirable to a select few, like me.
Crown Vic please
I’m not sure you can say competitive competitor.
3:40
Mooostang
Tawroo
🙄🙄
Computer voice misses the pronunciations 😲😲
I somehow managed to get through that whole video, complete with very annoying thumps every couple of seconds.

Yes. Pay $60k for another unreliable junk.
Maybe they'll get a few cop car sales. That's it.
Do not butcher an American icon by electrifying it, no one wants electric cars
SUV are being overpriced, people rather buy sedans
