If only there was a PSVR2 revision planned for early 2025, with pancake lenses(Which would also reduce the visor bulk by 50%), Dual 'Full Array local Dimming' LCD displays, Improved padded silicone user interface, and the option for wireless connectivity to PS5 Pro/PS5, OR a detachable cabled wired connection for those who want a compression-free image and zero additional latency. Sony could knock it out of the park with a revision. VR is in such a weird spot for me. Q3 does mostly everything better than PSVR2, with the exception of black levels, it's tablet power, TV Casting and controller haptics(Minor complaint), and yet the Q3 can't connect to a power console like Series X. Because if it could, i don't think I'd be holding on to my PSVR2 any longer. I hate the idea of getting a PC for VR gaming, it's so stupidly niche and will never garner any real success since there's too many friction points. VR's best bet IMO, is wireless connectivity to a power console like PS5 Pro. It's just the PSVR2 has those awful fresnel lenses and high persistence motion OLED display, bulky aesthetics and terrible comfort. The potential is there, but it's in desperate need of a revision. Sony will finally get it right if they decide to launch PSVR3 with PS6. Quest 4 i'm sure will be amazing, but once again it will be held back by it's stand alone power, as will Q5 in 2029.
I play all my vr games in a swivel chair . The cord does not bother me one bit . Globular strap . I never have to adjust the head strap . Perfect every time. I have a quest 3 and I play them both . To bad for you . As I’m haveing a great time .
Remove spiders?! Please tell me this mode is optional, I want to live the terror of spiders and experience the original idea, I hope they don't replace it.
