Kenneth Johnson shouldve CURED banner once and for all...even if it meant only 1 hulkout per episode...The story lines/Plots got so ridiculous at the end ...OF COURSE ratings dropped...episodes like the Phenom and Slaves were beyond bad...
You all do remember that the Hulk doesn't hurt or kill anyone and he has helped people in trouble. He has saved a lot of lives. He is NOT evil. He is a hero. In one episode of "The Incredible Hulk" he grabbed a woman who was about to fall off a cliff and pulled her to safety. In another episode he rescued someone from a fire and he saved a woman from drowning. And he cried when someone died. The Hulk is primal, but he has a conscience and is capable of goodness and compassion. He is a force for good.
True, but Banner doesn't know that, and no matter how much assurance he gets to this effect, he still doesn't buy it. The Hulk could wear a body cam during the entire episode, and it wouldn't matter to Banner.
Some may say it (the series as a whole) was cheesy. But I am one of those who would saw potential in it. Bixby and Ferrigno really set the standard with this one
Quite correct. The word "cheesy" -- like its predecessor "corny" -- is generally used only by the shallow & the superficial. (Unfortunately, that describes a large portion of today's viewing public.)
Maybe the special effects by todays standards. But the show as a whole was well written with great acting. The series was centered more around Banner than the Hulk. Bill injected Banner with so much depth and humanity. He made the character more real and relatable than in the comic.
It was always a great tv series and always will be because of the quality behind it. This movie dropped the ball with the way the death occured. But outside of that I will always respect tv's version of this character
I was In 2nd grade and this movie came out around the time Bixby was diagnosed with cancer and I could not stop crying at the end of this movie. My mom told me to write him a letter so I did. He never wrote back, I was heart broken. Found out a few years ago my mom never mailed it. 😡😰
Actually this movie was released for television viewing in 1990. Bixby who after this movie appeared in 1992 on one episode of "Diagnosis of Murder" was directing the first season on the show blossom while battling cancer. He died November 21, 1993.
I know that how David Banner becomes the Hulk in the 70's TV series is different from how it's done in the comics and the movie adaptations. However, this is how I first came to know the Hulk, and I take this as canon over any other media. I also feel that this is perhaps the most tragic and heart-felt portrayal of the Hulk. The second might be the movie adaptation - as Banner stated in the Avengers movie, he was driven to the point where he tried to eat a bullet, but in his words, "the big guy spat it out." I also think that David knew that damage that might be catastrophic enough to kill the Hulk would end up killing him as well. Knew and accepted it.
Doctor: Are you telling me this creature cannot die? David: If the damage was catastrophic, maybe…, MAYBE. Dell Frye’s ghost: Those 3 bullets from that small pistol sure were catastrophic.
It was always interesting to me that Banner was always worried that one day the Hulk might kill someone. I remember in the TV show, I think it was the pilot, he was told, "The creature will not kill, because David Banner will not kill"
knytrydr73 Elaina’s exact words were “Now this creature is an outgrowth of David Banner. It’s his primitive emotions run wild. It may be undisciplined. It may tear the hell out of pressure chamber. But it won’t kill because David Banner won’t kill.”
He should of and could of easily killed inadvertently. He threw ppl. Threw items at ppl. It was only sheer luck he didn't kill anyone. He was totally out of control. He needs to calm down.
I would pay good $$ for the script to 'Revenge of The Incredible Hulk' just so I could visualize the scenes in my head. I'm not sure if Jack Colvin was supposed to be involved, but could you imagine a scene where McGee confronts Banner? McGee: "YOU....the whole time it was you. That's why they never found your body in the lab....I saw you carrying Dr. Marks' body. I saw you, and I didn't even know it." Banner: "I didn't kill her. I tried to save Elaina." McGee: "I know. I know, because you saved ME....maybe more than I deserved. In Las Vegas. That forest fire.......my God.....that was you the whole time....John Doe." (Banner looking disgusted) McGee (looking down in shame) : "I was relentless. I wanted respect. I wanted fame. I wanted someone to believe me...just once. I just.....I had no idea. Forgive me, Banner." Something like that. What could've been.
If the script of the 4th Incredible Hulk TV-Movie titled The Revenge of The Incredible Hulk were to be shown on UA-cam,it would show how Dr. David Banner comes out of his coma and also if he does or doesn‘t get pardoned for all the damages he caused across America as the Hulk after either he explains the events that led him to become that creature or Dr. Ronald Pratt does after Banner fell into a coma after falling out of an exploding plane fighting evil.
i wish they made david have more moments like this, talking about the creature in a scientific type of way. And i also wish they made more moments where the healing factor from the hulk is shown, talked about or even David having no choice but to puropsely cause the change to heal himself or someone eles. Someone needs to redo the show in fanfiction form.lol
Had the TV show never gotten cancelled by CBS, I remember reading somewhere that one of the scripts they had planned for season 5 or 6 was where David's sister was dying from a form of cancer so he'd transform to get a sample of the Hulk's blood to heal his sister
There was an episode where david ended up paralyzed and in desperation attempted to bring out the hulk to heal himself but decided that the risk was too great
HAWKEYE21343 Oh yeah that was one of my favorite eps, called, the harder they fall, season 4, that was truly amazing, him being able to cure himself of being paralyzed by turning into the hulk.
The way David explain about the Hulk make it look like that iteration of the character is more like a caveman, that David unlocked his inner primitive instincts, like that at some point all human were more like the hulk, that our ancestors needed to be stronger to survive the harsh environments of nature during those more primitive times. And in a way,Lou Ferrigno interpretation of the Hulk do kinda look like a caveman. This is what separate the tv show from all other iterations of the character.
My favorite episode was The First part 1 and 2, Dell Fryes creature vs David Banners creature, an instant classic. I called Dell Fryes creature the skinny hulk.
The incredible hulk of the 1970s was absolutely fantastic and nothing these days will ever live up to the legend that is Bixby and ferrigno SIMPLE!!!!!!
It would've been incredible if there had been an Amazing Spider-Man-Incredible Hulk crossover when those shows were on CBS-TV in the 1970's,though the Incredible Hulk series made it into the 1980's. The ratings for those 2 shows if that crossover happened would've been very high.
It almost happened, actually, around 1984. There were already plans for a Hulk reunion tv movie, but it didn't happen until 1988's "The Incredible Hulk Returns". In '84, Bill Bixby wanted to do a Spidey/Hulk crossover movie and he even met with Nicholas Hammond, the actor who played Peter Parker in "The Amazing Spider-Man" tv show. Hammond was on board, there was a script written, Bixby was to direct the film. They were even going to use Spidey's black suit, as it was the same year that the suit had debuted in the comic books. But there were some shady things going on behind the scenes with the network executives and the people at Universal, a lot of back and forth crap. So the project ended up being cancelled, unfortunately.
Had Jack Colvin appeared in The Death of The Incredible Hulk, the reporter would probably tell Dr. Pratt that he's been hunting the Hulk for 12 years and that the creature did a lot of damage across America. Who knows if the scientist would argue with the reporter claiming that he hasn't seen the creature, just as David Banner said he hasn't seen it just before David's lab exploded after he took McGee outside the lab and would've been reported to the police.?
The Hulk TV series was my favorite out of all his shows..... my 2nd favorite is a show called the Magician. The show is noteworthy in that Bixby, a keen amateur magician, insisted on performing all of the illusions in person, without any trick photography,.
The Death of the incredible hulk, one hell of a show to the max! I really wish the writing staff should not have David Banner say "I never seen the creature before cause he" s seen the creature and himself before plenty of times like in season 2 of the Incredible Hulk episode " Married!.It's David trying imaging himself to control the beast or creature inside the volt!.. He's to strong even for David in his mind to handle!...
The 3rd Incredible Hulk TV-Movie that was 1st shown on NBC in 1990 should've had another superhero from Marvel Comics in it. The 1st one shown The Mighty Thor and the 2nd one shown Daredevil.
azure rainbow This movie should have a different storyline....with David FINALLY getting cured of ever turning into the Hulk now that hindsight is obvious (Bill Bixby's death).
@@3912James It would've been good to see David Banner finally getting cured of changing into the Hulk, but how would he explain where he had been during the years the public thought he was killed in the lab fire with Elaina Marks, his colleague whom he carried out of the fire as the Hulk, but failed to save her?
And they were terrible. Tv show blew them away. Stan lee needed to sit back and shut up. I would of liked to see spiderman and hulk though, but it never happened. Spiderman actor from 70s was on board and totally agreed.
I had heard that Elizabeth Gracen's character was a prototype Black Widow. Obviously, Marvel did kinda sorta follow through that thread with the Avengers movies..
SPOILER ALERT AHEAD David had discovered that the subjects that he and colleague Elena marks examined shared a special genetic deviation in their DNA that interacted with gamma radiation filter through sunspot activity. Further, he shared that same genetic trait, but on the day his wife died there was lower sunspot activity, and therefore his body cannot access that strength. Even if his DNA had that special genetic trait on a more enhanced level than the others. As to the “moving too fast” part, once he figured this out, he decided to experiment with this theory by subjecting himself to a controlled gamma injection. Unfortunately the equipment he used had not been fully calibrated after an upgrade. Therefore, he did not know how much radiation the machine was capable of and set the levels with outdated knowledge of how high it could go. Instead of the assumed preset amount of 300,000 units, he wound up absorbing almost 2,000,000 units of gamma.
Dr. Ronald Pratt & his wife could've asked David if it was worth it to let the world believe that he was killed in a lab fire with Elaina Marks thought to have been caused by the Hulk. Everywhere David went his alter-ego caused a lot of damage and sometimes the bad guys tried to kill him whether as himself or as the creature. If Dr. Platt asked that question, would David have the courage to answer it?
I wish Jack McGee appeared in this too. Mr. McGee would have gotten a real surprise to see Dr. David Banner alive before he died after the plane exploded, sending the Hulk crashing to the ground.
Wished David could have at least some sympathy towards his other half. Basically the hulk was able to get him out of every situation David's been in. Their was even more to the hulk than David ever knew because he wasn't around to see that.
Too bad Mr McGee didn't come to David banner to see alive in death in incredible hulk. Rest in peace Bill bixby 1993. And Jack Colvin as Mr McGee December 5 2005 rest in peace with Bill Bixby as David Banner and Jack Colvin as Mr Jack McGee.
It would've been good to see Dr. Ronald Pratt standing up for David after he fell into a coma falling out of an exploding plane as the Hulk while fighting against a bad man & a bad woman. He would've cried for David while telling the public that David didn't kill Elaina Marks in a lab explosion as himself or the Hulk and that he should be pardoned for all the damages he caused while fighting against evil everywhere he went.
What bill Bixby was talking about he was trying to study about human strength like other people have what happened to him he used to much radiation in his brain and body that was called him to change in the first episode that's what happened so now he tries find a cure for his creature so it could stop the transformation
I don't know why david wants to get rid of the hulk. The hulk has gotten david out of so many bad things even trapped in that car on the episode mystery man he had to transform to get out and it saved his life too.
Because while it may seem like having The Hulk in you is cool it takes a toll on you and you could never have a normal life. Being alone all the time and possibly forever is hell on earth.
He initially wanted to control him and tap into the strength he needed to save his first wife. Had Bill lived on they would have made another movie where David actually gained control over his hulk outs. The Hulk was going be able to think and speak intelligently. It would have been a great way to wrap up the series instead of killing him off.
I love the character and storyline and Bill Bixby is the only one to play it right. However, some dialogue contradicts past information and timelines. David only used radiation once, the overdose, and he was presumed dead at the end of the pilot. He never had papers explaining the use of radiation. I know I'm reading into it too much but you want the movies to compliment the series. Bill made every episode as good as it could be and some were exceptional. He made you feel here like you were standing in the room listening along to their discussion.
What happened to the actor who portrayed D.W. Banner, the father of David Banner in the 3rd season Incredible Hulk episode titled Homecoming,in which David Banner decided to come back to his hometown for Thanksgiving after seeing his kid sister,Helen Banner,a scientist like him,on the TV,only that he had to risk her getting angry at letting her, their father, and their hometown thinking that he was killed in a lab fire which was caused accidentally by Jack McGee,the reporter who bumped into an explosive chemical and spilled it in the storage room at Banner's lab when he was in there to confirm his suspicions that David Banner & Elaina Marks lied to him and to the law about no knowledge of the Hulk, who scared a little girl and threw her father into the lake after getting shot in the shoulder while saving her from drowning with a tree he pulled out of the ground? The chemical blew up the lab after Banner & McGee got outside and Banner changer into the Hulk without McGee seeing him and carried Elaina out as the Hulk, with McGee seeing it for the 1st time before they went into the woods after another explosion occurred in the burning lab and McGee couldn't go after them because he twisted his ankle when the lab blew up and believed the Hulk killed 2 people for knowing too much about him.
That is mouthful right there man, talk about long winded. The actor who played D.W. died in 84, six yrs before this movie. One would assume, David's real father had passed by this time as well, who knows about the sister, perhaps she had moved on with a life of her own and he did not want to interfere, or she may have passed as well.
If there had been a 4th Incredible Hulk TV-Movie,would Dr. Ronald Pratt & his wife be arrested for aiding and abetting a fugtive after the Hulk changed back to David Banner following him falling onto the runway very hard from an exploding airplane or not?
The Death of the incredible hulk Jack Colvin as Mr McGee didn't visit David Banner for last time. Rest in peace Jack Colvin December 5 2005. In the death of the incredible hulk David banner thought he can't control the Hulk David were wrong for year in the incredible hulk tv series and two movie tv. The death incredible Hulk 1990 need Super Nintendo or ps3
It turned out that he wasn't immortal after all. I think having him die to rid himself of the beast was a horrible way to end the show. As a writer and actor myself, I understand that it was a tongue in cheek manifestation of "curing the disease by killing the patient," but they could have addressed it in a different way.
@@jeffreybauer1552 Big fan, and since he had found the cure in the episode where he met the second Hulk, it would have been a much more fitting way to finally end the madness.
I always wonder what is it about Banner he's had several people tell him he and the creature are not killers.....do to Banner's personality..........his Co-Worker who died in the pilot episode told him straight out that the Hulk will not kill because David Banner will not kill. his second wife he met who was going thru her own health issues told him the same thing.......Banner even Read the Diary of the Scientist who accidently created the First Hulk "Frye's Hulk in the episode called The First" the Scientist said Frye's Creature is guided by Dale's personaility. which was true Dale was a killer.........but Banner's Hulk is guided by his personallity and Banner is not a killer.......yet clearly in this scene..he does not believe what he was told...........when he says people think the hulk is a killer and one day they might be right...........obviously he is not believeing what he is told.
The National Register wasn't really a legit newspaper. More like a tabloid full of conspiracies. The Hulk at large was believed to be a myth and was dismissed.
If there were a 4th Incredible Hulk TV-Movie, would the actor who portrayed Dr. Ronald Pratt reprise the role and would it tell if he and his wife were given another chance to cure David Banner of becoming the Hulk again or not?
If I remember right if you have the pilot episode and listen to the commentaries Ken Johnson said "BRUCE" sounded to comic booky so they changed it to David.

Am ready to hulk out
Me too I agree with you and your comments too
Kenneth Johnson shouldve CURED banner once and for all...even if it meant only 1 hulkout per episode...The story lines/Plots got so ridiculous at the end ...OF COURSE ratings dropped...episodes like the Phenom and Slaves were beyond bad...
The Hulk could wear a body cam during the entire episode, and it wouldn't matter to Banner.
the problem is banner thinks the opposite which is interesting
Yeah the hulk wasn’t some out of control monster. Regardless though, Banner wanted to be free and live his life in peace.
@@RogueBlackOp "The creature may tear up a steel chamber, but it won't kill. The creature won't kill because David Banner won't kill."
David's fear is the the Hulk (with his strength) could accidentally kill someone.
Great acting on both partie's.
Without question. Legendary series.
Maybe the special effects by todays standards. But the show as a whole was well written with great acting. The series was centered more around Banner than the Hulk. Bill injected Banner with so much depth and humanity. He made the character more real and relatable than in the comic.
Nowhere as cheesy as the Nicholas Hammond Spiderman of the 80's . With that net as a web...LOL
It was always a great tv series and always will be because of the quality behind it. This movie dropped the ball with the way the death occured. But outside of that I will always respect tv's version of this character
The healing factor was a great added power. But seeing Bill Bixby
I’m way young for this but my dad got me into the series and I loved it
This was the first time since it happened that he could actually “talk shop” about it,with someone that understood him
I was In 2nd grade and this movie came out around the time Bixby was diagnosed with cancer and I could not stop crying at the end of this movie. My mom told me to write him a letter so I did. He never wrote back, I was heart broken. Found out a few years ago my mom never mailed it. 😡😰
I was 6 years old when the 70's pilot first aired...
The second might be the movie adaptation - as Banner stated in the Avengers movie, he was driven to the point where he tried to eat a bullet, but in his words, "the big guy spat it out."
I also think that David knew that damage that might be catastrophic enough to kill the Hulk would end up killing him as well. Knew and accepted it.
Wow I always knew bixby was a great actor but this scene really made it. Incredible ( no pun intended) actor. 🙏🏻
I saw this movie and loved it, it’s one great movie. Wish it was on tv again
I remember in the TV show, I think it was the pilot, he was told, "The creature will not kill, because David Banner will not kill"
knytrydr73 Yeah I know but he never truly believed that, for whatever reason.
Unlike Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, Hyde was murderous,.killing anything that got in his way. The Hulk merely picked people up & tossed them aside.
knytrydr73 Elaina’s exact words were “Now this creature is an outgrowth of David Banner.
@@BillClay88 now I just imagine someone looking at hulk after he threw someone through a house and going "you need to calm down"
I would pay good $$ for the script to 'Revenge of The Incredible Hulk' just so I could visualize the scenes in my head. I'm not sure if Jack Colvin was supposed to be involved, but could you imagine a scene where McGee confronts Banner?
McGee: "YOU....the whole time it was you. That's why they never found your body in the lab....I saw you carrying Dr. Marks' body. I saw you, and I didn't even know it."
Banner: "I didn't kill her. I tried to save Elaina."
McGee: "I know. I know, because you saved ME....maybe more than I deserved. In Las Vegas. That forest fire.......my God.....that was you the whole time....John Doe."
(Banner looking disgusted)
McGee (looking down in shame) : "I was relentless. I wanted respect. I wanted fame. I wanted someone to believe me...just once. I just.....I had no idea. Forgive me, Banner."
Something like that. What could've been.
To go even further what if Jack and David discovered that it was Jack who was unknowingly responsible for Elaina's death?
There’s only one David Banner/Incredible Hulk duo for me and that’s Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno.
The Best Story between the Hulk . Bill Bixby & Lou Ferrigno was Awesome.
This film needed more of this and less of the terrorist plot. The dynamic here is excellent.
I really miss Bill too!
i wish they made david have more moments like this, talking about the creature in a scientific type of way. And i also wish they made more moments where the healing factor from the hulk is shown, talked about or even David having no choice but to puropsely cause the change to heal himself or someone eles. Someone needs to redo the show in fanfiction form.lol
I couldn't agree more!!!
Awesome lol
My conscious mind stops...I can`t control it...
Thats a good point
The way David explain about the Hulk make it look like that iteration of the character is more like a caveman, that David unlocked his inner primitive instincts, like that at some point all human were more like the hulk, that our ancestors needed to be stronger to survive the harsh environments of nature during those more primitive times.
And in a way,Lou Ferrigno interpretation of the Hulk do kinda look like a caveman.
This is what separate the tv show from all other iterations of the character.
What's happening Jason
That's exactly what the HULK is. A gamma enhanced caveman. The comic book version was originally more Jekyll and Hyde.
Great acting 101.
My fave episode was prometheus
My favorite episode was The First part 1 and 2, Dell Fryes creature vs David Banners creature, an instant classic. I called Dell Fryes creature the skinny hulk.
I always like the scenes when he nearly gets caught by Mr mcgee the reporter
@@danielauer9307 Mine, too.
@@danielauer9307 Not to mention ugly.
I don’t recall the show going into the science very often and it always fascinated me when it did, like here.
What a great actor Didn't get a lot of credit for his work
The incredible hulk of the 1970s was absolutely fantastic and nothing these days will ever live up to the legend that is Bixby and ferrigno SIMPLE!!!!!!
You got that right I grew up my self watching the hulk
Can't believe it has been ~35 years since this first aired!!
I used to love his show, the magician too👍
These so called actors today couldn't lace Bill's shoes.
HELL, NAAAAW!!!!!
Don't forget about Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
The Hulk TV series was my favorite out of all his shows..... my 2nd favorite is a show called the Magician. The show is noteworthy in that Bixby, a keen amateur magician, insisted on performing all of the illusions in person, without any trick photography,.
cool thanks for sharing God Bless
Go comedic during that one scene was epic.
Love Bill Bixby nuff said ,gone too soon xx
The 3rd Incredible Hulk TV-Movie that was 1st shown on NBC in 1990 should've had another superhero from Marvel Comics in it. The 1st one shown The Mighty Thor and the 2nd one shown Daredevil.
azure rainbow
This movie should have a different storyline....with David FINALLY getting cured of ever turning into the Hulk now that hindsight is obvious (Bill Bixby's death).
Nah I'm glad that it's closer to the series. Thor and Daredevil was why fans hated the reunion movies.
i wish jack mcgee was able to be in the final movie you know somehow someway
So it was David’s impatience that led to his disastrous self experimentation. I’ve always wondered how it happened, but this...
Recall how two of Banner's transformations in "The Incredible Hulk Gets Married" were triggered by memories/nightmares of Laura's death.
SPOILER ALERT AHEAD
David had discovered that the subjects that he and colleague Elena marks examined shared a special genetic deviation in their DNA that interacted with gamma radiation filter through sunspot activity.
@@Artisan1979 I thought it was 3,000,000.
Kevin Miller nope. Elaina told him he had absorbed almost two million units.
@@Artisan1979 It's a wonder it didn't kill him.
awesome
Imagine that it was Reed Richards!
Jack colvin aka Jack McGee should of been in that series as well, if he did then he would of finally caught the creature at his Mercy!..
At least this video is longer than 30 seconds
Two geniuses
I wanna destroy diabetes and feel human again!
I love Bixby 3000.
My only criticism is that Jack McGee should have been in this film.
This was movie was not intended to be the end, most likely he would have appeared in the sequel.

But Mr. Bixby decided to leave us all and go home to Heaven
Severan Vallery / Sadly, you are correct. He waZ one of my childhood heroes. BiX and Ferrigno both! Perhaps my ALL time favorite show!

It's a shame it took Banner's death from being blown out of a plane to finally be rid of the Hulk.
There was supposed to be another Hulk movie series where the Hulk talks.....but by that time Bill's cancer became a serious issue.
Long time fans of the series already knew,
Death would be David’s only escape
I hate Banner for one reason only...he always keeps me in a dark place.
The Hulk

I want to find the full episode but i have not been able to yet
Bought mine on eBay
Dr. Ronald Pratt could've asked David that if he does get cured of becoming the Hulk, how would he explain to the public where he's been for 12 years?
I wish I could've met Bixby before he passed
Sucks that he died before the 2000s were even beginning
I loved this show Bill Bixby did Bruce Banner right
The Death of the incredible hulk Jack Colvin as Mr McGee didn't visit David Banner for last time. Rest in peace Jack Colvin December 5 2005. In the death of the incredible hulk David banner thought he can't control the Hulk David were wrong for year in the incredible hulk tv series and two movie tv. The death incredible Hulk 1990 need Super Nintendo or ps3
Hope you people havevsern him in The Magician.. before he got green. Great little show.
It turned out that he wasn't immortal after all. I think having him die to rid himself of the beast was a horrible way to end the show. As a writer and actor myself, I understand that it was a tongue in cheek manifestation of "curing the disease by killing the patient," but they could have addressed it in a different way.
But if you were a longtime fan of the show
You knew death would ultimately be his only escape
@@jeffreybauer1552 Big fan, and since he had found the cure in the episode where he met the second Hulk, it would have been a much more fitting way to finally end the madness.
This was such a goddamn good show.
I would like to see a movie made about the life of bill bixby and i think Paul rudd would be perfect for the part
I'm guessing Pratt never read the National Register...
@Esteban DBZEditor he got fired? Did that really happen?
@Esteban DBZEditor The Incredible Hulk Returns turned out to be Jack Colvin's last appearance as the snoopy Jack McGee.
The National Register wasn't really a legit newspaper. More like a tabloid full of conspiracies. The Hulk at large was believed to be a myth and was dismissed.
Harrison Ford, Red Hulk, 2024❤
If there were a 4th Incredible Hulk TV-Movie, would the actor who portrayed Dr. Ronald Pratt reprise the role and would it tell if he and his wife were given another chance to cure David Banner of becoming the Hulk again or not?
I can't find the ending David actually funeral hulk emerges from the grave
Why did they change from Bruce Banner to David Banner.
If I remember right if you have the pilot episode and listen to the commentaries Ken Johnson said "BRUCE" sounded to comic booky so they changed it to David.
In the comics, the Hulk's true name is Robert Bruce Banner. When they adapted the Hulk for TV,they changed it to David Bruce Banner.
@Frederick Wells Yes. I remember now.
On the DVD commentary of the pilot, Johnson says that it was a way to honour his son David.
