I studied Judo a long time ago here in Spokane, washington, at a Dojo called Seikikan back in the mid 1960's to about 1972. In 1973 I went active Duty Air Force. I've always wished I had continued.
I'm going through another course of pancreatic cancer chemo. I watch a lot of UA-cam videos and yours, are on my list. I know BJJ gets a lot attention, however, for me Judo is top of the list. One of my favorite throw, was tamonage. I also loved a choke hold, whose name i can't recall, but I would have the back of my opponent, place the inside of my wrist into the soft, side of the throat, on the carotid. I'd clasp my hands, and twist. They'd be out in seconds.
sorry for being so wordy.
finally, I promise. how would you consider a Judojo, worth going to? I think I would look for a dojo aligned with the Kodokan.
