I'd imagine the footage available is limited of MJ because of his condition,and he only strummed when and where he could. That being Coldplays guest was a very kind gesture, but he was also protected by the bands production people and not actually on film much, as comments online can be very cruel. They weren't making a spectacle of him basically, despite the crowds at the festival, he was shielded against a world wide stage online.
