An example of wanting something accomplished, doing what it takes to figure it out, not taking no for an answer. Excellent perseverance. Now if I can only apply those same qualities to figure out why water literally filled up the floor of my beloved 2005 S4 Cabriolet, then I will be one happy camper.

I freakin Luv it my friend thanks! My Audi is the EXACT copy of that one color wise and everything and I've been dealing with some electrical issues in the passenger side panel (corroded wires, car not starting, etc.) And you've just showed me exactly where it's been coming in from!! Thanks for the vid 👍🏻

Ace. I had an unrelated roof issue but the dealer told me there was a ton of water ingress which they cleaned up for me.
Today, driving the car the speakers weren't working so I thought my amp had become damaged... Then, next time starting it the entire MMI unit wouldn't start up (no even, no control lights, nothing).
Looked for the fuse and found a large amount of water behind the LHS and RHS covers. Will grab some stuff from work and test this out shortly.
Thanks so much for the video, I'd have liked myself if I had time. Not worth Trip to the dealer where they tell you it's a £168 am hour charge for looking 🙃

@@nataliegrn17 this wasn't my problem after all. I did more investigation and found my rear window is falling away from the fabric... Like the adhesive that sticks the window into it is failing.
No one repairs this, everywhere quotes a new roof for £5000 which I won't be paying, but I will be attempting a fix myself!

@@nataliegrn17 thanks! Confident I'll sort it. But Audi said they won't code the parts that I replaced myself because "you didn't source them from us"... Ridiculous.
One module was £50 on ebay and they're writing me over £1000 to replace it, even though they'll likely just buy one from ebay too 😂 crazy.

Having just fixed an inside drip at the driver's A-pillar (a common fault it seems), I've now noticed my boot floor is wet (thankfully I have a boot liner so no soaked carpet) and the cubby holes on each side have quite a bit of water in them. Thankfully the fuse box looks dry and all the systems, motors etc seem to work, so hopefully I've caught it early enough. I've drained / dried up the water and cleaned all the seals as best I can with a damp cloth (as I've not got any proper cleaner yet) - they were quite mucky. There's no obvious damage on them, so if this quick clean doesn't sort the problem then I'll get some proper rubber sealant cleaner and see if that helps. If it doesn't, my thought thought is to glue some sort of plastic deflector along the bottom edge of the metal hood cover (i.e. the part the covers the roof when it's down) that extends below the level of the seal, meaning any water would just by-pass the seal altogether and go straight into the area between the compartment seal and the boot seal and drain away as any other water. The deflector wouldn't be visible when the cover is in place as it would be below the level of the bodywork. Just an idea and it may not be needed, but as I live in Glasgow we get a lot of rain so I need a solution! Will keep you posted...

@@nataliegrn17 there are rubber bungs which can be removed to drain the water away. Once removed I let everything dry out completely before replacing them and then periodically checking for water buildup in the weeks after and it was all good 👍🏻

Also show the washers being set in. I have a trunk flood as well! Was going to have the rubber seal checked as others here.. Good thing these cars are so incredibly beautiful!
