    Your Lorentz force vector is not correct. The Lorentz force vector needs to be greater than the gravitational force vector because that is how the magnet slows down. Then as the speed of the magnet slows down the Lorentz force decreases until it is equal with gravity. In your simulation you have it backwards. You say that the Lorentz force vector increases until it equals gravity, which is incorrect. 0:34 In addition the velocity vector is wrong too. You show the velocity increasing to a constant value, but it is the opposite. The velocity vector starts large when it enters the pipe and then decreases to a constant value, hence the slowing down.

      Terminal velocity is maximum velocity attainable by an object falling through a fluid. Please don't blame Comsol engineers if you don't know what this is all about. Have a read before outlining "mistakes" just because you feel like you are always right and Comsol professionals do this type of mistakes.       I am well aware of what terminal velocity is. I have a degree in physics. Which is why I am interested in this video to begin with. Just thought I would clear up the mistake made in the video.

Anyway, I've been watching Comsol webinars for a few years now but never came across an eddy current braking simulation. Probably the results one can get are quite far from reality.
