Great Yarmouth North Beach

Been visiting family up here for 20+ years and never brought the rods up. Was expecting just whiting but had a double shot Hound/Cod loads of whiting and dabs. Enjoyable shirt session.

Hi Bud.. Great video.. I will go into that beach on Sunday... Im living in Milton keynes and I will do 2.5h trip to go there... That will be my first shore fishing session.... any advice for me? Kind regards. Bart

Only fished it twice, from what I see and heard about, think the tide can be strong, especially on the springs, has the possibility to get weed run through. I would try last 3 hours of the ebb tide, couple hours of the flood and see how you go. Would like to try there again someday but I'm nearly 4 hours away. Fish a 3 hook flapper lug tipped with squid, and the other rod 4/0 pennel with a whole squid, loosen the ratchet, should be good for some bites.
